So many seem so convinced that we’re seeing Matt & Karen at their Indian Restaurant for DDBA2 just because it’s a flashback… and perhaps for one of the two occasions they shot there, it could easily be since they clearly hid them & the costumes… but the second time they went there, they’re in new costumes, openly shooting outside, and they’re smiling and happy and Matt has his new DDBA glasses on…

Seems pretty clear to me that we may get some of the missing first date content, but that it looks just as likely we’re getting possible their second date in the present day as well… One also has to ask in plot terms, why would they want to show us flashbacks to more of their First Date/One Perfect Night content…unless it’s because they intend to build on that romantic foundation in DDBA2? There’s literally no other reason to even show it to us, unless it’s because it’s relevant to the plot & their emotional journeys. Even just the existence of a flashback to that one night alone would tell me that the writers intend to remind us of their chemistry, how it’s never really been anyone for either of them since they knew the truth about each other - how much they have grown since that One Perfect Night™️ (which, in a lot of ways, was a fantasy rather than reality, because neither were showing their true selves).

And That… AND we’ve seen holding hands on the street in disguise in a completely different scene which I would wager is sit earlier in the series when they’re still in hiding? (Which tbh is way more interesting to me, because what possible reason would they have to hold hands in public when they’re clearly in hiding… other than because Matt is being protective of her…. because they’re using the fact they’re a ‘able bodied couple’ to hide in plain sight??… Or because something by that point has happened behind closed doors that changes their dynamic back into a romance one and he can’t help himself but take her hand like it’s just their normal now…)

Either way, we’re clearly so back. I can’t wait for their scenes together to see their gradual journey back together come to life.

I’ve been saying forever, that to me is why Karen especially is so important (and why I’m so glad they realised the error of their ways enough to bring her back into DDBA). She’s the only person he ever willingly decided to tell about Daredevil, rather than by mistake or necessarily. Therefore, by extension, she’s basically the only person who has ever truly consciously chosen, besides Foggy, to love both sides of him. Even Elektra couldn’t do that - she found the soft and vulnerable side of him weak and took advantage of it for her own sick adrenaline games to try and turn him into someone else. Foggy did in the end, but it took a lot… and Matt never chose to tell Foggy. Matt choosing to tell Karen to me is the very crux of how much he holds her in unique esteem. He knew he’d probably lose her if he told her - and likely it was an act of both noble penance but also self destruction in choosing to tell her because he never thinks he deserves her - but he knew she deserved to know. He knew he’d never have a future with her, not even a tiny chance of the “normal” future he talked to Maggie/Father/Foggie about, if she didn’t know and accept both sides of him. I don’t think he really expected 100% that she would, (as I say, self flagellation), but he did it anyway…. And in the end, she did.

That’s why most of DDBA S1 is so heartbreaking - because imo you can truly feel the loss of his ability to be himself when he begs Karen to stay and she doesn’t. He spends most of the series clearly on some emotionally void autopilot - lying to himself and being depressed of course - and it’s not until 1x09 when we see him finally smile and make jokes and talk about Foggy with a smile on his face because he knows Karen actually knows him/their shared history. Then, she even says it, explicitly: that she sees him what he is, like Foggy did, and she’s with him for whatever comes next. She kisses him on the forehead too, which is always a precious thing for anyone to do, and you can see he feels unworthy of the comfort and belief but is also so grateful for it. To finally be seen again.

Cherry tells Matt in ep2 that he likes the version of Matt he’s seen since Foggy died. A version that Matt says himself has been a lie.

Everyone prefers the lie over the truth because it’s easier to live with a Matt Murdock who hides his pain and lays awake listening to the cry’s of the city over the Matt Murdock who chooses to protect the city by doing more than standing in room he knows who’s floors are roten with corruption and injustice.

Its easier to live with someone who holds their tongue than with someone who speaks their truth.

okay so life happened and i haven’t been able to catch up on ddba2 but can karedevil please not happen… i already have enough situationships to worry about.

تعرف على عقوبة الأم التي أجبرت نجلها على القفز من شرفة العقار للوصول إلى المفتاح فيديو        داول عدد من نشطاء مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي «فيس بوك» فيديو لأم تقوم بتحريض نجلها علي القفز من شباك سلم العقار القاطنين به إلى شرفة الشقة، وأكد النشطاء أن ذلك جاء بسبب نسيان الطفل لمفتاح الشقة بداخلها.  وتواصل موقع «صدى البلد» مع عدد من خبراء القانون للتعرف على العقوبة التي تنتظر الأمر. أكد الدكتور عصام البطاوي المحامي بالنقض، أن واقعة قيام الأم بدفع ابنها للقفز من شباك إلي بلكونة الشقة للحصول على المفتاح، لها توصيفين، الأول أن تكون الأم مدركة للخطر الذي يواجهه الطفل ومع ذلك حرضته للقيام بالقفز وألا يكون الطفل معتادًا علي القيام بذلك، تواجه الأم المهمة تهمة القتل العمد. وأضاف البطاوي، أن الحالة الثانية ألا تكون الأم غير مدركة للخطر وأن الطفل قام بذلك الأمر من قبل، تواجه الأم جنحة الإهمال الجسيم. ومن جانبه أكد الدكتور صلاح الطحاوي، أستاذ القانون، أنه في هذه الواقعة يتم إبلاغ نجدة الطفل التابعة لمجلس الوزراء ليتم تسجيل الواقعة لديهم، ولكن يتم ذلك بناء علي طلب من ولي الأمر أو صاحب الولاية علي الطفل، فإذا كانت الولاية منتهية بين الأب والأم بالطلاق وبناء علي هذا الإهمال والشروع في القتل بغض النظر عن توافر القصد الجنائي يجوز للأب ضم الطفل إلي حضانته. وأضاف الطحاوي، أنه يجوز الإبلاغ عن الواقعة لنجدة الطفل وتقوم النيابة بالتحقيق في الواقعة وطلب التحريات، فإذا ثبت من التحريات أن الأم سليمة عقليا يتم توجيه تهم الإهمال لها والتي تكون عقوبتها أما الحبس أو الغرامة.  وأكد ياسر سيد أحمد الخبير القانونى والمحامى بالنقض، أنه قانونًا لا توجد أي عقوبة علي تصرف هذه السيدة إلا في حالة شكوي الأب، إذا حدث للطفل أي إصابة جراء القفز أو توفي، فيقوم الأب بتقديم شكوي ضد الأم ويتم توجيه تهمة الإصابة الخطأ أو القتل الخطأ لها. وأضاف، أن الجيران أو شهود الواقعة ليس لهم تقديم أي بلاغات قبل السيدة، حيث أن تلك الواقعة تندرج تحت بند «الجرائم العائلية» فلذلك لا يمكن للنيابة تحريك دعوي قبل السيدة إلا بوجود شكوي من الأب، حيث أن حق النيابة المطلق في تحريك الدعاوي يقف عند الشكوي «الخاص بالجرائم العائلية» والطلب والإذن من الجهات الحكومية.

Karedevil has always been End Game in the Canon, pals. It’s just the truth and it’s already so clear from DDBA1 that Disney intend to keep that.
