I will give y'all a chance to either prove to me the poll hasn't been botted (like if it's been shared in a high traffic discord or something like that, which could potentially justify the numbers bump), or to come clean if it's been botted and tell me how many votes were added, which I will note and subtract from the final count. Otherwise, I'll be forced to disqualify Megatron from the race, which I know will be uber disappointing to many.

In today’s media landscape where everything is always about big shocking reveals with little to no narrative set up or follow through, going with the most obvious route and actually making Langdon have an addiction problem was the most subversive choice they could make imo. And to me the fact that there is so much outrage is evidence of that. It was the obvious answer all along and was right in front of us the entire time, and yet most of us still didn’t see it coming. Because Langdon is a kind, charming guy and he’s likable and put together and highly competent and we didn’t want it to be him. From the get-go this show has been asking the characters and the audience to examine their internal biases, and now we are all being forced to whether we like it or not. And as disappointing as it all is character wise, in hindsight I think any other resolution to this storyline would have felt like a cop out.

i looked at the sonic channel poll and sonic got way more votes overnight and . i know i complained about it already but what the hell guys. all those other choices are characters that very rarely get official art and might never get a chance at being in sonic channel art again. why are so many people throwing that opportunity away just to get another image of sonic and shadow standing next to eachother when theres no shortage of those and we're sure to get more art of them together before the year is over and sonic has also already been in the calendar art multiple times this year. i feel like im going insane
