DM-Deck 27 seems to be one of the most well-known Unreal Tournament maps and has even been ported to the Killing Floor games. It's a toasty hot magma refinery with a big central room full of cool ramps and walkways.

One very neat thing on this map I had forgotten about is that you can find the old low poly Deck 16 map inside this newer one!

It's not a playable area and its very dark in here but the geometry of a lot of it seems to be intact, and the lights even look accurate to the old version!

I finally got to take Dinah to an obedience class run by my favorite trainers at my favorite facility.

She completely blew me away.

We joked yesterday that she's deaf actually and those ears are just for decoration. Today I learned that they do, in fact, function as they should. She was focused, she was adaptable, and she was absolutely thrilled to be working.

Most importantly, I learned that her environmental sensitivity was definitely just a phase. She is not scarred from the bad puppy class. She is resilient and we are building a very solid foundation.

Save Star Trek Lower Decks

Not my petitions, but ones worth signing and sharing. What I initially thought would ruin Star Trek lore and continuity for me turned out to be one of the funnest, most heartfelt series in the franchise. I was devastated when I heard about it ending, and I really am hoping it can be brought back. Back in the 60's, Star Trek was brought back from the brink of death by a letter campaign. Perhaps, something similar—online petition, social media trends, or another physical letter campaign—can work here.

"I'm kinda disappointed in Ma'ah and T'Lyn's return in season four of Lower Decks. I think more of their screentime was wasted on being therapists for Mariner and Boimler (who'd devolved this season from the character development they got in season three) than actually being developed as characters. I wish they had gotten their own spin-off show instead of being used as support accessories for other characters."

Anyway, thanks to the story trade @phoenix-the-mistfit-fire-bird and I did, I got inspired to do another “kinda irrelevant” headcanon.

Artica loves how modest Meena can be, but wishes she could appreciate the positive feedback more. Whenever Artica hears the elephant be hesitant to take the credit for something amazing, she will quickly tickle her on one of her weaker spots as a “negative association technique”. It gets Buster to eat and/or take a rest, so surely, it can help Meena with her confidence.

Lower Decks needs your help!

After the unjustified cancellation of Lower Decks many people are outraged, even some of the cast and crew want the show back.

So what can we do to try and save Lower Decks? And it turns out quite a lot actually.

1. Write a letter - there have been some letter writing but if you write at the least one letter you’re already helping. Of course the more letters you write the better. DO NOT be rude or threatening otherwise this won’t be taken seriously and will be disregarded, be polite and formal. Here are a few mail addresses:

2. Sign a petition - this one might not be as effective as letter writing but it can definitely let paramount see how many people signed and how much people want it back.

3. Rewatch the show and encourage others to do the same - this will help paramount see how many people still want to watch and see more and want more. Or you could go the opposite way and cancel your subscription to Paramount+ and putting Lower Decks as the reason

4. Buy merchandise - this will help paramount know that people still want to invest in the show.

5. Buy the new season 4 Blu-ray Disc - this will help paramount see that season 4 was good and the series should be renewed for more seasons.

6. And last but not least, spread the word anyway you can. If you don’t do any of these things at the very least tell others. We can save Lower Decks but only if we work together
