Hey, some more fun little notes about Dylan because I forgot to mention them in the previous two posts:
My inspo for Dylan is as follows:
Nina the Killer- She was the inspo for the scene style that I gave her but there's also some like story inspo there too? Not a lot, I haven't really figured it all out yet idk.
Rhea Ripley- AAAAHHHH MY WIFE!!!! Anyways, she's inspo for Dylan's body type also a touch of Rhea's personality (when she's not 'in character')
Clawed_Beauty101- I think that's their username, they inspired both Dylan's look, but also a lot of Dylan's personality too!
I think that's the last of my little notes for now, enjoy!

I totally forgot to go back to my little tangent about Dylan and Rudy in my last post, but it was already so long so I'm gonna do it here instead. Info under cut.
Like I said before, Rudy and Dylan's relationship furthers because they hand out more with each other than Hayden and Dimitri and Ronnie get to because they're not 'of age' yet (they're 19 or 20, not 12). At first they just become really really close friends, like 'can you buy me pads and come deliver them?' and 'yeah sure, light or heavy?' besties. However, Rudy is a guy for the beginning part of the story [like the first year-ish, year and a half]. They eventually start transition but not before confessing to Dylan, under the pretense (I think that's the right word) that they're not expecting her to feel anything back, they know she's a lesbian, they aren't trying to make her uncomfortable they just wanted her to know because they wanted her to have the chance to set clearer boundaries if she felt they were needing. Thing is, Dylan knows. Like, Dylan knows that Rudy is at least somewhat not cis quite a while before Rudy figures it out. But Dylan knows that she's gotta let them figure it out on their own. Like once they get the inkling she can start introducing them to some people, getting them some insight, stuff like that.
Ensue angst-y shit, after Rudy finally realizes, brings it up to the group (minus Dylan) and doesn't tell Dylan because she's scared that Dylan will think it's just because Rudy has a crush on her and so she's becoming a girl to land a date (this is a completely irrational fear, but a fear Rudy has nonetheless.)
Eventually Dylan kinda figures it out (she already knew but she realized the rest of the group knows because they always give Rudy these like, apologetic looks when they have to say 'he' when Dylan is around.) Dylan waits a little bit, up on advice from her Mother and Father, (her dad's sister is trans mtf so he kinda understands the 'knowing but not really sure if they've told anyone bit') who both told her to wait it out for a little while, because they were so close, maybe 'Rudy's worried about losing a close friend because of this, so they're working up the courage to say something'.
Eventually, Dylan gets tired of waiting, but doesn't want to be an ass, so she waits until Dylan stops by the bar, so it's just the two of them and not the group, and she carefully brings it up.
Rudy immediately burst into tears (she's a little tipsy already, maybe the 'relaxing drinks' had been a bad idea on Dylan's part.) Dylan explains that she gets it, pulling the 'i get it- I mean as much as I can from an outside perspective- you know, like I'm not saying I get it- get it- but like, fuck it, you know what I mean Rudy.'
Anyways, they kinda settle into this lull of 'friends but kinda more than that' and eventually they talk it out, and Dylan explains that she loves Rudy, girl or not (to relieve any anxiety Rudy may have if she goes through with transitioning and then things change down the line) and that no matter what she would love her. She also, kinda off handedly mentions that she sorta knew from like the first week they met (she's got that accurate af 'dar)
Anyway, yeah they end up happy girlkissers for the rest of their days.
I'm still a little up in the air about Rudy's design, so I haven't solidified a canon sexuality for her at any point in time in the story, before transition or not. I'm kinda thinking bisexual but idk yet. I do think she'll be asexual, sex averse, because I've noticed that trans women are sexualized a lot and I don't want my girl to go through that (she'll have enough trauma by the end of the story as it is) but that may change if people think it's offensive to make her like that (y'know, like not having her experience a like 'canon event' or something idk).
I also like the idea of her being asexual because I'm asexual too (for two reasons) but one of them is just that sex is like gross and I can't imagine having it with the body I have rn, and I wanted to kinda project that onto her (idk if that's a feeling u trans girlies get too but if you do, I'd love for that to be some representation of how you feel as well, cus we're a community and it ain't all about my tmasc ass)
I think that's all I have to say for now about them, I forgot something else in Dylan's post but by the time I finished this I forgot what it was 😔.
Again, I did my best to avoid any harmful stereotypes or tropes, but if you find any of these to be those two things, please tell me, I always welcome constructive criticism and knowledge!
Also, please note that I used they/them to refer to Rudy until mentioning the bit about her being transgender and transitioning, in any other notes I make about her I will use he/him to refer to her earlier timeline design and she/her for everything else. This is not at all an attempt to be harmful, I use this to help people understand what point in time of the story I'm talking about. It is also how I refer to myself as a transgender person when talking about before I realized. If you guys send in asks you can use either if you're wanting to ask about her at a specific point in the story. If you're just asking a random question, or one that's not timeline related, please use She/Her for her; [Ex: 'what's Rudy's favorite type of ice cream?', does she like the color blue or red more?', etc] If you see something you'd like to educate me on, please stick to that same rule and use She/Her for her as that would be her canonical pronouns if she were real in this time line.
Alrighty that's all I have to share, until next time!

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The pictures are just some I drew while I was working out her design
Also, I'd like to note, I'm white, I had a hard time finding protective but also scene hairstyles so I did my best with the knowledge I have, if you have any notes on possible improvements please feel free to share them, I'm totally open to constructive criticism and new knowledge
Anyways with that out of the way, notes on her are under the cut!!!
Enjoy!!!!!!!
Her name is Dylan Monroe, she's a film photography major and minors in digital media at [undecided on college name rn].
She works full time at a 'coffee-to-cocktail' joint. A little funny note is that her future girlfriend Rudy, is the only one that can go into her work when it's a bar because they're the only one old enough to [which is how I imagine their relationship buds, but it starts out platonic on Dylan's side, I'll explain that in a minute].
She's 24 years old, she is in fact wuh luh wuh [she's a lesbian for anyone confused I just wanted to say it stupid]. She's a second generation Jamaican American (I believe that's how It's put, please correct me if I'm wrong). Her father is Jamaican and her Mother is American. Her parents met when her mother took an apprenticeship under Wenford Simpson (yes he's a real person, go check him out, he's only really mentioned because I needed her to apprentice under someone I'm sorry, it'll probably change if I actually go somewhere with their story.)
Anyways, her mom is a really, really good cook. She owns her own restaurant and she also like co-owns the place Dylan works [the girl that runs the place is really young, like 23 but Dylan's ma thinks she has a lot of potential so she's kinda guiding her in the right direction. That is not how Dylan got the job though, she applied and her and the owner really hit it off so she started working there and then she noticed that her home girl was having a hard time and was like 'imma hook you up'.
Anyways, her dad is the stay-at-home type, but he runs his own little jewelry shop on Etsy, as well as like little thrift stores and stuff. Her dad kept his Jamaican citizenship when he immigrated (correct me if that's the wrong word) and so he travels over to Jamaica to buy all of his jewelry supplies.
There's a little issue with that, because he just kinda... Dips out. He's been doing it since Dylan was 16 because he was like 'yeah she's old enough to be on her own for a bit'. That's causes a little tension, because she developed a little bit of separation anxiety and like, a fear of abandonment because of it.
That's the only small issue her family has though, they get on really well, they love each other, her mom overworks a lot, but her dad is always there to make sure everything is not too much [she has the family dynamic I wish I had fr, fr]
Her parents dngaf when she brought home a girl for the first time [she never really felt like she had to come out to them or anything she just brought a girl over].
Her parents loved it because, you guessed it, the 'we don't have to worry about tennis pregnancy' lesbian trope strikes!
I really did my best to avoid bad stereotypes and tropes when it comes to her story because I know that's an issue that happens a lot with white people writing black people, but as I said earlier, if anything comes off as offensive or wrong, please educate me and I will do my damnedest to fix it. I am in no way trying to offend anyone, I just do what I can with the knowledge I have and navigate from there. I want to provide representation for everyone, not just for the minorities that I fall into.
Her dad taught her the techniques he uses to make his jewelry and she taught him how to make Kandi (he's really bad at it). He tries to make her jewelry but he doesn't really know how to make it fit her scene aesthetic, so he tries his best and then when he gives it to her he's like 'you don't ever have to wear it, but it's how I show u love you so please at least take it?' (she loves them all, and uses as many as she can her outfits, she doesn't care if it doesn't fit the vibe her father made them and she loves him.)
That's all I really have for her rn, please enjoy. I know it's a long read, and I'm sorry about that 😔, I just love talking about my Blorbos.
