#what is with Undertale and killer free games #deltarune for instance #and Undertale yellow #even tho its a fan gane so it has to be free ita one of the most enjoyable games ive eber played #HOW DO THEY DO IT????#even tho my controls suck and i hate using the arrow keys on my laptop #and i can't connect a controller cause my laptop is from like 2009 or something cause apparently it used to/is supposed to run on windows 7 #but some guy reprogrammed it to run on windows 11 #but still #i can't dodge diagonally very well because i suck at usung keyboards #either way if anyone hasnt played deltarune yet go play it while its free #and if u haven't played ut yellow go do that because its super fun and also incredible #also both games are free #FREE #free and mind altering #tho you should play Undertale first which isnt free #or you could watch a playthrough abd then play deltarune #and eventually ut yellow #but deltarune chapters 3&4 are coming out in june and thers a chance 1&2 will no longer be free after that #but what do ik

So much in the narration that. especially if someone hasnt played undertale true pacifist then yeah #youd assume theyre a stand in for “you”#just after chapter 1's ending Probably should put a dent into that assumption #deltarune makes a VERY strange point to differentiate kris's actions in certain pieces of narration . ex: in ch 3 secret boss fight and ch4 #egg room #but i also dont think that Specifically means that “you” doesnt also mean kris #a lot of instances imply that “you” is referring to kris as well. especially ch 4 mirror dialogue. love that dialogue #but which “you” means kris and which “you” means you and which “you” means... something else???? i have no idea. ripping shit with myteeth #ESPECIALLY since theres no frame of reference for it because (iirc) in undertale frisk is NEVER referred to in narration #we only know their name because they told it to asriel #tbf the player/protagonist separation was definitely not as big of a plot point in undertale as it is in deltarune #not to say it wasnt relevant at all but frisk is literally jst hoo boy 0_0 hot. dog.#anyways all that to say that the word “you” in utdr is so strange and deceptive.#i drew like ten different sketches last night because i read cq for the first time & it made me want to draw so so so os o bad but was tire #so ill probably be posting more art once i start getting them past the sketch stage. deltarune is so full of fun little details where the characters react to unexpected things you do, like the dialogue if you repeatedly miss the dummy in the training fight and ralsei gets increasingly confused and concerned with your inability to "press z when the white rectangle is inside the blue rectangle"

i feel like the newest 2 chapters of deltarune have had more dialogue where like people refer to kris and use their pronouns. so basically if i STILL see people misgender them im going to end up on the news ❤️
