Demeter has a lovely big Tumble boy to make her feel safe! (With braces on his hands so he doesn't hurt himself when he's feeling flippy. Andrew Wilson was in his 30s while he was playing Tumblebrutus, and has made a few comments about finding it tougher on his body than he would have a decade earlier.)

After being scolded by Munkustrap for scratching Grizabella, Pouncival and Tumblebrutus huddle in disgrace - and when Demeter tries to approach Tumblebrutus, Pouncival cuts her off. A strange bit of interaction - made even stranger by the fact that she looks chastised, rather than ignoring or scolding him as a silly kitten.

This is Oasis/RCCL cast 4 (2016), in which Pete Simpson (Tumblebrutus) and Alyson Larkin (Demeter) built something like romance between their characters. Is Pouncival jealous, perhaps? Or just grumpy about being told off?

Pouncival is Thomas Bedford, Grizabella is Angela Calo.
