For some unknown reason, the sills in 2 niches in a new build house have tiles that have spider-web hairline cracks in the manmade/hand-glazed tiles (and not in any other tiles - just the niche sills), so we spent a lot of time VERY delicately demo'ing those niche sills, yesterday, and replacing them with a solid piece of porcelain tile.
