Kyana was lost. She decided to travel to the land of Sumeru and had ended up in the forest region. She looked around hoping she would find a sign of someone or a village perhaps to help her find her way. She pushed through a bush, only to stumble upon someone with...did they have ears?

She found herself staring at them before realizing it and straightened up. "Um, h-hello! I'm uh, I'm a bit lost. Any chance you can help me please?" she asked, hoping she wasn't trespassing somewhere.

FOR A MOMENT, Zulaikha stiffens, and at the same time her eyes widen. Memories that don't necessarily belong to HER rush to the forefront of her mind-- a search for knowledge most forbidden, despite knowing better, and the exact price to be paid for it. And to what end? All it brought in the end was pain and death beyond even the Mistress of Flowers' predictions-- not wisdom and power. A dark side to knowledge, indeed.

Quickly, though, the Sage recollects herself. Tension forced out of shoulders and a deep breath taken slowly, Zulaikha returns to the present time, then turns her attention back to Tighnari.

"Not personally, no." A shake of her head accompanies the answer. Trustworthy as the Forest Ranger may be, she is reluctant to to share her apparent history with ANYONE just yet. "But it's not the kind of thing you have to experience to know that it's true, right? There's always the possibility that knowledge, whatever form it may be, can be abused and used for the wrong reasons. Of course, right and wrong are often subjective-- but that's still a 'dark side' of knowledge anyway, isn't it? Not to mention all the kinds that the Akademiya even prohibits people from researching." A pause follows, while she raises a brow at the other. "Have you ever experienced something like that, Tighnari? Or is this just a matter of simple curiosity?"

"Thanks. I'm not familiar with the monsters out here, so having someone who is, is probably a good idea." He'd gone over Mondstadt so many times that he could probably walk it blind, but Sumeru? All he wanted to do was visit the Akademiya. He didn't intend on applying considering he was already part of the knights, but he was curious.

"As long as I can see the city, I can probably get the rest of the way on my own."

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ || "you mean since you last saw me like four days ago?" collei's tone is light, bordering on amused, as she smiles up at her mentor. she could complain about tighnari being overly worried about her, but she knows he's only asking because he cares, and not because she considers her fragile.

her health, while not perfect, has improved plenty since eleazar was eradicated. still, tighnari is effectively her caretaker, doctor, and friend, so she can't blame him for wanting an update on her well-being. luckily, nothing had happened in the days tighnari was gone on a trip to the city.

"i've been fine," she gives a single, determined nod, placing her hands on her hips. "really, it was pretty boring here while you were gone. oh! but i did make a couple of flower crowns with some of the kids— that's about the most exciting thing that happened."

being under master Tighnari's stern gaze made her want to wiggle! It helped that he was keeping his voice low, despite her massive mess up. And at this point, she no longer felt the need to well.. track his movement. Slowly she fidgeted with her sleeve as she spoke.

"I was.. kind of being chased by a Rishboland Tiger. I was trying to make it to a cave i knew of that had a small opening at the back that would lead me to an open plain's area and far enough away from it's territory that it wouldn't see any need it still chasing me. I was too busy focusing on what was behind me that I didn't notice the stumpter beast. And a lot of times it's a fifty fifty chance if they attack compared to a tiger..."

At the mention of someone taking over her route however, she shot up to try and protest it, waving her hands!

"Please Master Tighnari, I'm not that badly hurt! I can do my route, i promise, i don't want anyone to think-!!"

try as she could to stay stable on her feet, a moment of dizzyness overtook her, and right back down onto the bed she went!!

That's a weird thing to say to someone, especially to a stranger. "If only we could, the Shogun still has a decree out for those with a vision. I won't have peace until she is stopped." The general frowned.

Kyana started out as a Teen Titans OC who had a massive crush on Aqualad. Lol she wanted to visit him in his underwater base but had no way to do so. So she came up with zany ways to try. XD

I also designed her at first to be wearing Rikku's outfit from Final Fantasy X-2. >>

This one. She still had her wild orange hair and everything. I later on ditched this outfit idea but kept the scarf part which is why Kyana's new original design still has her scarf.
