personally i think dean deserved to crash the fuck out big time and end the world if he wanted to after losing cas AGAIN in 15x18. like the fuck do you mean this severely traumatized man whos been pining for his best friend for over a decade receives a love confession from said best friend, just for him to fucking DIE, and then his own kid becomes god but doesn't bring said best friend back to him.

dean watched cas die in front of him FIVE TIMES and in between each death he fell more in love with cas. john lost the love of his life ONCE and crashed out so hard he fucked over his kids' lives forever and went on a over 20-year long warpath of revenge. sam lost the first love of his life, jess, and spent the next 2 seasons on a warpath of revenge...
