like even ignoring the story telling angle of how this ending is such an interesting way to take grace's character, the song itself is just SO bone chilling. like.. theres a reason npmd (the song) is a fan favorite but smth abt this part of the song coming from grace makes it hit harder. the religious character who spends the entire play spiraling due to a sinful act she commited singing about how nobody will pray for you when you die due to these being the consequnces of your actions is so ??? and even ignoring THAT angela puts in an oscar worthy preformance. her "run you little bitch" is SO good and im sad its not in the cast recording.. hell even how her high note basically became an unhighed scream and transitoon into manical laughter.. its a good way to show how the events of the play literally brole her mind withput having to outright say it. LIKE IM SO OBESSEDDDD

Genuinely so curious who Mike thinks is gonna be buying The Cage or the new DCTL GN bc with the way he tweets as far as he's concerned, it's not gonna be:

The queer people he has actively admitted he will never show any representation of in the games.

2. The POC he has actively fought against representing in his franchise. [Who he also mocked for thinking they would be represented in his franchise]

3. The Bendy fandom which has always been concerned with topics of diversity esp in the sense of queer people since its creation. Who he has responded to really poorly esp in regards to the GN.

4. The fans who critique him. [He blocked me for doing so lol]

5. His fans in general who he tweets about like this currently. [He's being vague about why people were mad at him or sent him 'nasty messages' because if you actually looked into why you'd see he was in the wrong. Either way, a very hateful way to speak abt ur own fanbase.]

Reminder while Mike is trash talking his fans he has always treated them rather poorly. The fans who won the fanart contest for Chapter 5 never got their posters actually in game due to it being rushed. Not only was chapter 5 a big slap to the face story wise, but it was literally so rushed he couldn't be bothered to add in the art his fans gave him for his game FOR FREE. [Meatly blames this on a crazy timeline, reminder him and Mike are the literal ceos of this company. The proposal of future updates here is also pretty cruel considering Mike nowadays happily admits he corrupted Chapter 5's source code and therefore literally can't update it At All currently. Because he is a moron]

At least they got to be in Boris and the dark survival, and by that I mean that was the Only game they got to be in so far, isn't that just treating your fans like you love them? Shoving their hard work into a spin off game almost nobody has played or addresses much. [Hell, who knows if with the Lone Wolf rebrand they'll even stay there. In which case they'll be in None of the games, only in the credits of BATIM]

6. The Bendy fans who just generally disagree with him on stuff. Like the new ink demon design where there is literally a public poll showing people generally prefer the old one.

7. The Bendy fans who can see he is actively lying to them. To their fucking faces.

He says this has always been the case, but screenshots and links to tweets regarding the books being canon prove it was not. Does he really think bendy fans are stupid or something? [Unless he's admitting here he lied to Kress when he told her the books were canon which sounds worse!]

8. Anyone who doesn't like the idea of giving money to a guy who laid off tons of employees then afterwards thought it was a great idea to express his anti-union views! Also brag about how good of an employer he was, according to his employees, he was not!

So in summary; Mike is an awful person who has not learned anything from the awful things he did. I will not be purchasing The Cage because, combined with this and his absolute refusal to take any kind of critique or see any differing interpretation of his franchise, I have no reason to think my problems with the franchise will ever be addressed or fixed. I probably will pirate The Cage along with any future Bendy Products [Including the movie] and will do my best to avoid giving it any kind of monetary support. Unless this changes any time soon, I can't see myself making anymore positive Bendy posts soon.

Mike has just managed to make it so hard to speak positively or optimistically of this franchise when he's so willing to broadcast how little he cares about it or its fans. I'm at the point where I refuse to pull any of my punches with my problems with it. What's the point of trying to play nice with my critique when either way the people creating it don't care?

So with this post, I want to invite anyone who feels similarly about the franchise to tell me, make a post or send an ask talking about how all of this makes you feel. It may not change how things are, but genuinely seeing other people share my feelings of anger makes me feel better. It feels nice to see when other people share our same concerns and worries. I'd also love to know if anyone else thinks they'll be avoiding purchasing Bendy products over this.

I'm not forcing anyone to participate in it nor trying to say anyone who doesn't supports mike but genuinely maybe if we can collectively decide to boycott things like the movie, graphic novel and The Cage... It might at least make the bendy devs acknowledge how much they have destroyed their own fandom's faith and trust in them.

The way Mike tweets about his actions like he had no control over why people were mad at him at least proves to me he takes NONE of it back nor regrets it. If you didn't know about his actions and only went off his tweets, you would be led to believe Mike has been needlessly picked apart by fans over things he couldn't control [or in his own words, had his words twisted and taken out of context]. That is not how you speak about your actions if you have actually learned better from them.

anyway, that has been my bendy dev callout post. This is an open invitation to anyone feeling similarly upset about the way the franchise is going to talk about it. It's genuinely nice to see how people feel about this and the more we talk about the more it's likely the bendy devs are forced to address our concerns. I don't think they will but hey, that's why I'm not gonna support them with my money anymore nor am I gonna be nice to them in any content I make critiquing Bendy. I mean I'm also basically making this post just in case anyone asks me Why I feel this way towards to bendy devs/as a way to respond to anyone who thinks I am too harsh in my critique in the future.

As always, it seems the best part of Bendy isn't actually anything about canon but about what the fan's are creating with the ideas Bendy failed to do anything interesting with.

Highlights from the Hachetfield Series Recap livestream for those who couldn't make it this morning:

t'pol would do diplomacy with the soon to be revealed as evil lesbian faction but talks break down when they realize due to her psychic sensitivities and studio required rock solid heterosexuality she is completely immune to their ambient gay mist in the air that is revealed to be the source of gay majority on the planet she fails to communicate this to the crew quickly enough tho and the viewer is subjected to some deeply embarrassing and unwatchable sequences as the various cast start acting comically gay due to the saturation of gay chemicals building up in their systems when t’pol tries to explain this to captain archer he says dont worry about it darling and winks this is a sign he has fallen prey to the gay chemicals and has now also become gay she returns to the ship to talk with phlox who is like well you know being gay can be normal but forcing everyone to be gay via mind control like this is fairly unethical they have a meeting with the straight refugees who explain theyre all straight because of a mutation making the gay chemicals not work on them which has made them extreme social outcasts but phlox thinks if he studies their genome he can figure out how to create a gay vaccine to return the planet to its normal hetero state which t’pol orders to be released into the atmosphere because archer has been spotted in a speedo and the time for diplomacy is over once the planet has been re heterofied it comes out a small shady group of gays decided to hijack the government and turn the whole planet gay as part of a sinister plot but now the straights are freed and no longer misunderstood and they will now open their planet up to negotiations with other worlds now that they dont have to hide the existence of heterosexuality the dominant and normal way of being in the universe from their populace they get a few last homophobic jokes in about their behavior on the planet before the ship blasts off nobody likes the episode and its never rebroadcast

summary: when you feauture in bigbangs new song as a famous female soloist, you go on tour with bigbang, but rumours start online after seeing two of the members being rather close with you.

You were a very well known girl soloist kpop idol, for your vocals and your looks mainly. All of your adoring fans and the media went crazy when your new song was released with bigbang. And streams for the song went through the roof also making it top in the charts, meaning obviously you had to thank your fans for the streams on the song by a long awaited tour.

You and bigbang had arranged to meet at your rented out dance studio to practice your choreographed dance for the tour, so you picked out some baby pink joggers, white strappy tank top and some white trainers.

You enter the dance studio as you put your hair in a low bun, to see g-dragon, top, taeyang and daesung sat on a bench in the corner chatting and sipping water. As soon as g-dragon saw you he immediately got up to embrace you in a friendly hug and greet you. You and g-dragon were closest when recording the song so it was obvious you were both happy too see eachother.

“Y/N!! My favourite girl how you doing?”

“Im great, have you seen the dance choreographed yet?”

“Yeah, weve all practiced our parts a bit already”

“Good, so have i at home.”

The cheoreographer walks over after talking with both of your pr, and tells you to get into position to start practicing. Following his orders, you stand in a triangle formation with you at the front, and the choreographer starts to guide you all through the dance moves and moving around. You move with precision and move backwards when told, what you didnt realise, was that the dance routine would be so close with the other members.

This you figured out when top was stood at the front and you were made to come up and dance around him as he would be rapping, moving your hands along his body as you walk around him, and singing whilst looking into his eyes.

When it came to what would be your solo, you stand at the front and dance, rolling your body, shaking your ass, and moving your hips.

Weeks later you had all perfected the choreograph just in time for the tour, and got ready for the fun to begin with fully sold out concerts.

Your outfit for the tour ^^

As you sit backstage, you look down at your phone, filled with nerves you bite your fingernails until you taste blood. You curse under your breath as you suck the end of your thumb to numb the pain. You message your friends about the concert about to begin and they reply with how many fans are going crazy. You smile at your phone until suddenly a shadow is cast over it; you look up to see choi seung hyun stood infront of you, he holds his hand out and you look down to see a plaster/band aid.

“Hm? Top whats this for?”

“Your finger, and you can call me Seung-hyun”

He says as he unwraps the plaster/band aid, he suddenly grabs your hand and wraps it around your finger and you couldnt help but blushing, which he hopefully didnt see. He finishes aiding your finger as your managers come over and say its your time on stage.

You get into position at the front as the lights are dark in the arena. Backup dancers stand behind you and bigbang, as the lights fade in and the music starts, cheers and screams envelop you and the members as the familiar melody of the song plays.

You and the other members sing as you dance and move your hips. Your solo eventually comes up and you sing and fans scream along and the other members cant help but admire as you smoothly dance and sing effortlessly. You get into position again whilst singing the chorus but not top is infront of the triangle getting ready for his rap solo.

As he begins rapping you walk over and dance around him and run your hands around his body in the choreograph, you cant help but get butterflies as you see him grinning whilst singing and looking down at you.

Its your time to sing whilst he raps and you look into his eyes as youre both in perfect harmony, when all of a sudden he tucks a strand of hair out of your face out of choreograph and you keep singing but this time with a faint pink in your cheeks.

The chorus plays again and when g dragon walks to the front to sing his hand traces your waist as he walks past and seung hyun looks up slightly possesive along with you as fans scream louder.

Eventually the song comes to an end and you all walk backstage and as the rest of the group get ready for their next song, you walk to your makeup room where the makeup artists get you ready for your soloist song after.

After touching up, you walk out and greet your backup dancers and then you walk to the offstage and watch bigbangs performance.

They finish and walk past you one by one, as you fix your hair, g dragon walks past and winks, and then suddenly after seung hyun says good luck and smiles as he walks.

As the lights are off you walk onto stage with your dancers and get into place. Your song starts to play as the lights fade in and you stand in pose as fans cheer and jump.

You start to sing as seung hyun and g dragon watch from each offstage wing. In your song, you crawl and dance on the floor seductively and the fans go crazy as you kick your legs in the air and then the male backup dancers pick you up by your arms and keep you uplifted and lifting you up onto the middle of both their shoulders as you keep singing and they lift you down after spinning.

As your highnote in the song reaches you hit it with perfection, and both seunghyun and g dragon both think theyve found the one for them. You finish your song and walk off stage after waving to fans and the concert comes to an end.

After fan signings and photos, you get onto the tour bus that drives you to the hotel. As soon as you get back you jump onto your bed and check your phone.

You sigh and lay back in bed and smile looking up at the ceiling, you were glad people were having good reviews on the concert, and couldnt help but blush as you think of whats happened with seung hyun today, the band aid and him tucking your hair behind your ear. That couldnt have been in a platonic way, could it? You could see the bandaid in a friend way but going out of choreo and doing that to someone, you wasnt sure. But as you slowly drift off, you didnt care much.

i like the format of this episode! but i'm always a sucker for any vague gesture at the ole *record scratch* now how did i get here. or the classic 17 hours ago, etc etc. like yes the emotional weight that can be achieved with non-linear narrative!

but what always sticks out to me about this episode is the sick twist in my gut watching dean, chained in the back of the police van, realizing pete is taking him out in the woods to kill him.

it's interesting because dean has been to some extent playing along with pete's narrative about him all episode. when his lawyer comes and tells him he could be facing the death penalty, dean is still more focused on solving the case. when he needs to make a scene to give sam a chance to escape, he pretends to be confessing. he is, superficially, not all that concerned with his own safety.

but it cracks a little...

DEAN: Can we make this quick? I'm a little tired, it's been a long day, you know, with your partner assaulting me and all.

and then a lot. when pete drags dean out of the van and dean can't even catch himself because the chains connect his wrists and hands. it's a visceral reminder that dean is, by our carceral societal metrics, disposable. he's had a string of murders he didnt commit connected to his name since episode 6. he has a whole heap of other charges that were unavoidable because of what hunting requires but don't look good on paper.

it reminds me of this interaction from 2.19 about how well dean is fitting in in prison

SAM: Dean, does it ... bother you at all, how easily you seem to fit in here? DEAN: No, not really.

dean has said and will say numerous times that he doesn't think he's different or better than anyone else. and i think it's important that dean is including even the parts of society that are more readily cast off and maligned.

i also want to point out that while pete is very much a cop gone rogue here, the episode makes clear that the outcomes for dean - or claire - aren't all that different whether is at the hands of the system or pete's alone.

dean is still facing the death penalty and though it might be more drawn out through the bureaucratic justice system, it still ends with him just as dead as he would be in the woods. claire too is murdered by pete but is also clearly a victim of a broken system that she's been cycling in and out of without the help and support she needs.

though there is nothing supernatural dean is being offered up to here, it still rings true with the theme of him as the sacrifice to the American Dream.

the soft hum of the guitar strings echoed through the quiet room, george’s fingers moved his guitar. it was a quiet evening, george has been playing for a while, but he couldn’t ignore the feeling that something was missing.

lately, he has been worried about one of his closest friends who was slipping further away from him, but he couldnt figure out why. He had known her for years, long before all of this "beatlemania" stuff was even a thing. they shared everything with eachother, but recently she has become distant, her pressence less vibrant and her laughter was quieter. george had come to realize that there was something different about her when she stopped acompanying the band to rehersals, she loved going and messing around with john and ringo.

it was late when george decided to visit her, he was seriously worried about her and despite the late hour, he couldn’t ignore the feeling that something was wrong. he grabbed his coat and stormed out of, heading to her flat, hoping that just seeing her would help put his mind at ease.

when he knocked on her door, there was no answer. he knocked again, a little harder this time, hoping that she was home. a few moments later the door opened slightly, and he finally saw the eyes he was long awaiting to see.

"george..?" her voice was soft, and there was a hint of surprise in her eyes, but there was something that george couldn’t place.

"darling" he said full of concern. "i was worried about you, can i please come in?"

she hesitated, looking down at the floor for a moment, then turning to see into the flat before nodding and stepping aside. "sure, come in" she said.

george stepped into her small apartment, the lights were dim, casting long shadows across the room. she had always kept her place neat and tidy, but it this time it seemed quieter, emptier. the silence between the two of them was thick, but george couldn’t just stand there, he knew something was wrong, and he needed to know what.

she sat down on the couch, loking down to the floor avoinding his gaze. her hands were clasped tightly in her lap, and george noticed her trembling. "darling.." he began, his voice low but full of concern. "ive been woried about you lately, i dont want to offend you or anything, but you’ve been acting... different lately. you know that you can talk to me about anything right?"

she stayed silent staring at the floor, biting her lip until she finally spoke, her voice barely above a whisper.

"look george, i’ve.. i’ve been going through some stuff" she admitted, her words trembling "i know that you and the boys have been recording lately and.. well, i just dont want to bother you with my stuff"

george sat down next to her, he wanted to say something to make her feel better, but didnt know what. he then gently placed his hand over hers. "darling, you will never be a bother to me" he said softly. "whatever it is, i’m here for you"

they locked eyes for a second before she quickly looked away again. "it’s just... its all too much right now, everything feels so heavy" she said, her voice cracking. george felt how his heart broke in that instant.

he placed his hand on her arm, trying to confort her. it was then when her sleeve shifted slightly, revealing a few marks along her wrist. george froze as his heart his clenched even more in his chest. her arm trembled slightly under his touch, as if she feared he might pull away, or worse, pity her, but he didn’t. instead, he tightened his grip on her arm, not wanting to let go.

“my darling, you don’t have to go through this alone, please. whatever’s going on… i’m here. you can trust me with everything, i’ll always be here for you” he said as her eyes filled with tears "i didn’t want you to see them… i didn’t want anyone to know"

george gently turned her arm over, his fingers tracing the scars. "you don’t have to hide them from me" he said quietly, his thumb brushing over her wrist "you don’t have to carry all of this by yourself. whatever it is… i want to help you"

she took a shaky breath "its just that.. sometimes.. i have all of this thoughts and it just becomes too much and... by doing this... it’s.. its the only way I know to make it stop. to feel something other than all of that".

"you’re not alone in this, okay? i promise that we’ll figure it out together. i’ll always be here with you no matter what”

she turned her head away shaking, george could tell she was trying to hold herself together and without thinking, he reached out and pulled her into a tight embrace, wrapping his arms around her as she cried. "i’m sorry," she whispered, her voice muffled against his chest "i just don’t know how to stop it"

"oh darling.." george whispered, his hand stroking her hair gently. as the night stretched on, her tears began to subside as she remained curled into georges embrace, her head resting on his shoulder. he gently shifted so they were lying on the couch, still wrapped in each other’s arms.

"i’ll stay with you. i’m not going anywhere." george whispered softly, his breath warm against her hair. she them turned her head slightly, just enough to look up at him. "why?" she asked softly. "why would you stay with me?"

"because I care about you" he said quietly. "i always have, and i know that i always will. you dont know how important you are to me"

while working on his song he realized that he was talking about them in the lyrics. he didnt now how long he had been feeling this way but while writing the lyrics he was unknowingly thinking of them and fell for them hard

When Yoongi was busier with his work, he had a small habit that had long calmed his mind in such complicated times.

Close his eyes, breathe once, twice, three times and remember a memory that brought him serenity and the imagination he needed for his work. It was a basic ritual, which lasted mere seconds, but for Yoongi, this habit was enough to make his day more bearable.

Now, after so many times this custom has been repeated, Yoongi has started to notice a small pattern that his subconscious formed when he was most affected. Among so many memories and diverse stories, there was always a fraction of memory that shone brightly in Yoongi’s mind:

Your smile when Yoongi added a small pronoun before that affectionate name he liked to call you.

‘My dear.’

‘My.’

His.

The smile that formed on your lips was involuntary, a little shy even, but even so, it was something real, it was a brief vision of what Yoongi could experience every day if he wanted.

But wanted what?

What magic did you cast with that small smile that wrapped Yoongi’s heart in a blanket so warm he didn’t feel its beat? What witchcraft were created by the curve of your lips to be engraved on the papers worn by Yoongi? What spell was it that made your charms be recorded forever in Yoongi’s hurried handwriting?

Down from it, we see baby Joris's drawing of what he thought his parents might look like... Not a painting of Jahash or Julith, just his own ocs. I think it's cute that this place, that seems to be pretty important to him, doesn't have his actual parents. It's not like he knew them well. Idk, it's a neat detail that says something about Joris's feelings on them in a subtle way.

Saving the best and juiciest for last, we have Zabelle. When this comic first came out, multiple crepinjurgenites had mini-freakouts that Tot might have gone actually off the rails insane and might be giving Joris a love interest. Which would be bad given Tot's trackrecord with romance writing. And also Joris's whole shtick.

However, I am very happy to announce they... REMOVED A (likely) IOP (Zabel) and made him into a sexy dragon lady queen. No fucking way. If they also don't give her an ex-husband/a dead husband/a far away husband/a son/a boyfriend... I don't know what would happen to the world, if that were to happen.

I approve of this. I don't know what to think about the anime style (might be fun! might be bad! can't be worse than bestiale!) but it does have actually nice looking female characters. which is already a glow up from bestiale and s4.

I'm expecting fanart of Bechamel the Catgirl and Zabelle making out at my desk by midday, mister! Not because this is in-character or makes any sense. I just like to sexualize and objectify women.

About the overblot question...

After every overblot, Yuu gets to see the memories of the student who overbloted 

so does that mean they get to see readers memories, and if so, then who gets to see them?

I like to think it’s all of the students who actually overbloted get to see the memories (and I have this distinct vision of Leona just beating the absolute shit out of Yuu after he finds out)

But Ace/Deuce are also really interesting options since they’ve been there from the start so actually seeing just how bad the abuse was could really fuck them up

I really like to think its those who didnt overblot- i mean, i think this is more of a go to, WAITTTT- so like, if the main cast can see reader's memories, can the overblotted ones like, feel the mental torment?

Okay so, the casts for those who didnt overblot, sees it and maybe sympathize depending on who [and you know who ryte?] Buttt, the OB!Students feels the pain, their loss, literally everything they've felt in that moment. That memory.

Each memory gets horrific, it starts out normal, then in comes the malicious yuu slowly, creeping their way in the reader's life, and destroying every ounce of things that made the reader feel like an individual, an living being not as a mask, a person. The abuse gets worse, the reader's identity starts to blank. Just like an empty canvas, made 'anew' of themselves. And the overblot boys felt it? The confusion, the constant emptiness, the constant fear of being looked at so much as being stalked, the fear of doing anything that makes you vulnerable, the frustration of being unable to do anything, the despair of losing a loved one that cared about you, deeply so. And it stabs their heart over and over and over again. It plucks feathers, no consent. Just like how they've been treated. Their wings weren't chained, it was ripped to fit someone else's that doesn't belong in the end.

And now, the other casts who hasn't overblotted, just the absolute terror of witnessing a helpless person in a situation where you just can't fight back because they're at a more advantage than you. It was horrifying to know they were speaking to it the entire time. Not the tweels, though. These hound dogs inside the deep ass-crack of the ocean will plan someone's disappearance. Oh, they'll make sure to record their new adventure with this dolphin and give you the results afterwards. They hope you'll like it and take it as compensation for the misery Yuu had caused you.

The difference between College Humor and Watcher is that CH has a huge cast of people with mutiple shows releasing episodes extremely regularly. Not only just a huge cast of people but people the audience like. Sure there's the highlights like Brennan and such but people aren't gonna skip an episode of Game Changer just because Brennan isn't there. Watcher has only a few shows and they don't even put things out weekly. And other than Ryan and Shane no one really remembers who the other casts are. Even Steven is like meh to a lot of people, and you can tell just by looking at the views on their shows not including Ryan and Shane, the views are much MUCH lower than stuff like Ghost Files and Puppet History. You can even compare it to Roosterteeth who also started on a separate paid channel. Even they had a huge cast and though it got worst over the years they still kept their main cast front and center and made free content on YouTube for years and premium content was a separate show that didnt affect the youtube scene for a long time until 2020 where it all went downhill. Watcher is literally dropping YouTube altogether and moving to a paid platform and not touching YouTube ever again.

So Watcher:

1) doesn't make content regularly enough to be worth the high cost of their subscription

2) has only a handful of casts that would even interest people to move

3) is dropping YouTube entirely even though their audience was born from people watching them solely on YouTube

Of course people are gonna to be mad. These are the people who saw their potential during their buzzfeed unsolved days and gave them the support to make their own company as Watcher. Without these YouTube fans Watcher would not be where it is today. Dropping YouTube entirely and put on such an expensive paywall is just the dumbest narsarcistic thing they could think of when the economy is literally crumbling and their audience is made out of younger people. Idk who in Watcher thought this was a good idea, but clearly they need to learn from the mistakes of Roosterteeth and just don't. Trying to chase after College Humour when they both started in different ways is like trying to put a square into a circle hole. It's never gonna work, and if they try to force it, just like Roosterteeth, it's just gonna break all the work they did to build their company after so many years in a record amount of time.
