Very very bizarre thought, but I’m of the firm belief that if Conclave characters are being depicted as cats, then Vincent should be a tortoiseshell, for two important reasons.

First: Haha, tortoiseshell, like turtles, y’know?

Second: In a fun twist of cat genetics, if a tortoiseshell cat is male, then it is an intersex cat. Red and black genes in cats are sex- linked, and cats must have two x chromosomes to present as tortoiseshell (and calico)

Hello! I used to volunteer at a shelter and this pretty gal was named toffee - I’d never seen a cat who was more orange than black! Any ideas about genetics or what would make a cat have extra orange?

Hello! As far as i know, the color distribution of a tortie is random, and while it's a rare sight, a cat with this much more orange than black is a completely normal tortie variant. It's just the luck of the X-inactivation.

I’ve come to make an announcement… shadow the hedgehog’s a butch ass mother fucker I finally caved and made a fursona. With a heavy heart I admit that I am, in fact, somewhat of a furry. YIPPEE 🙌

My fursona’s name is Swan obvi. She’s a tortoiseshell cat-swan griffin! I chose griffin because I’ve always been obsessed with them. As a kid that’s all I would draw 😂

Tortie: Luna, who is more attached to Kaiba than the other cats

Brown and cream tabby with missing hind leg: Cinnamon, the one Atem was the most worried about at first, but he soon realized that Cinnamon is almost unbothered by his missing leg.

Sphinx: Sage, named for her green eyes. Atem loves dressing her in silly sweaters and clothes for warmth.

Large white cat with silver flat face: Zahra, the first of the cat gang, adopted by Kaiba after the Ceremonial Duel. He's jealous his cat now loves Atem more.

Black cat attacking shoelace: Shadow, Kiki's littermate and the spiciest of all the cats.

Blind calico: Rosemary, Atem's special girl. She was the first cat Atem himself rescued.

Tuxedo Cat: Jinx. Shadow and Kiki's littermate and very silly. Only has two braincells most of the time.

And a bonus Duchess! Kaiba's rescue Welsh Corgi and spoiled to no end. She thinks quite highly of herself. Kaiba almost named her Honey for her fur.
