💄 + Jade please!

send me 💄 + a character and i'll tell you how i would style them

for jade, while we do see him in a variety of outfits, i don't think we're really seeing his personal style. to me, his choices feel performative. he's a lot less open than floyd, and he isn't as obvious as azul, so it's difficult to tell when he's actually being honest with the people around him—and this makes him extremely interesting as a character.

however.

it makes discerning his preferred fashion choices a little bit difficult.

the only thing i think we can say for sure is that he prefers tidy, closely fit layers. we very rarely see him in anything less than two layers, i'd say, and he does not appear to prefer his clothing loose like floyd.

that being said, given that i do not believe we truly know his preferences beyond that, i am left with nothing else to work with as a starting point. of what we see of his outfits, i'm more inclined to believe that two may hint at his likes than rest, those being his clubwear and playful land attire.

for his clubwear, we know he's often alone during club times. he is the founder and sole member of the mountain lovers club, so any excursions beyond the main campus will remove him from the public eye and social settings.

but for playful land, the clothing is not chosen by the wearer, and we do have evidence that the magic used tries to form an outfit suited to the likes or preferences of the person wearing it. vil's heels and the bat pattern for lilia are obvious ones, but leona's shirt hem also mimicks the hem of his dorm uniform. though they all adhere to the playful land theming, these outfits are specific for each guest.

i'd wager the biggest similarity between these outfits is actually the silhouette around his waist and hips. his clubwear has a longer coat that flares a bit at the waist, and his playful land attire has a ruffle pinned on his waist.

so let's find him something to mimic this.

i actually really like dior men's fall 2020 collection for jade in general, but there's a jacket in look 33 that feels fitting.

we see him most often in purples, blues, and greys, with the occasional warm accent. i think i'd actually like to put him in brown—a deeper, warmer shade than the jacket itself, but still brown. similar to his clubwear gloves.

now, if any character is going to have the mock-turtleneck, it's jade. we do see him in multiple (clubwear, as an example) but functionally, they fit with what little we know for sure. they're form-fitting, easy to layer, and offer a fair amount of coverage. i know a lot of people say not to mix brown and black, but i've never adhered to this rule, and jade hasn't either. he can keep the black here.

i'm going to jump to shoes before we go to pants, because i want to put him in some tall boots. knee high (or over the knee) in a matching brown to his jacket. something with a sturdy sole but a slimmer silhouette over the legs.

for pants, i think so long as they're fitted enough to tuck into the boots, he'll be alright. i don't think i want to do the easy option of black here. in fact, i think i want to break another fashion rule and go for navy blue.

so far, his color palette is very similar to his clubwear, though i'm picturing the blue a little darker. this is another reason i think his clubwear shows us more of his actual, genuine preferences.

jade is mischievous, and he's often subtle or quiet about it. breaking more well-known fashion rules casually sounds like something he would do, and i think he would do it well enough that it further bothers anyone who would notice. (azul, perhaps?)

we're almost finished with his outfit. i will keep the gloves, as he often wears them and it adds to the layers. while my example image from dior men has lighter gloves, i really don't think jade would default to them on his own. i think maybe black would make more sense.

he can keep his earring, of course. i will not be changing that. in fact, i'm not giving him any extra jewelry. the accessory we see him with most often is a bag of some sort, and i really like what this could imply if we take him seriously on this one. jade, of the three, is the one who is always prepared. he's extremely capable and quick to decipher the wants and needs of others. i think, perhaps, he is similar to jamil in that they keep necessities on hand—"just in case."

so let's give him a bag.

i think something cross-body fits him well enough. backpacks require taking them off or twisting around to retrieve anything, and i don't want to give him anything that occupies a hand. with something cross-body, it could be easily accessible without requiring a hand at all times. i think this is where we add in a lighter accent color. i don't think pure white, or even the cooler tone in his clubwear, but maybe something a little warmer. cream, or an off-white. i want to bring in more warmth.

...he could have a hat, but i think, instead, i would push his hair back from his face. akin to his nightmare suit look.

💄 Dior murdered their Moon out of a jealous rage because they felt that their Moon was always better than them at everything and more loved by everyone. So they grew to have a lot of self doubt.

Dior's Moon always tried to get them to see that they were just as great at acting and beloved by their audience, because they cared about Dior deeply, but Dior always took it as their Moon pitying them. Dior heavily regrets what he's done.

🔪 Karma fell in love with their handler back when they were a daycare attendant at their pizzaplex, and said handler was the first victim of the virus Karma got infected with.

2) face wash/cleansers after: i really like the face shop cleansers, but i’ve tried different ones. i’ve tried corcx too, bioderma too, currently i am using centella skin cleanser <3 and it’s so good! if you really want to go ahead in the price range, dior la mousse >> i use it too!! >:D

3) toners : tonymoly toner >> so good!! beauty of joseon jinseng essence water >> i personally spray it just to let my skin breathe. my skin barrier used to be fucked when i had used too many ordinary products so i am very particular about hydration :<

4) snail mucin -> corcx (bestest), let is sit let it absorb, there is this cream i discovered from etude house: soonjung something, that’s good!! <3 i also like requil products a lot. and also, estee lauder night creams>

5) on certain days i put retinol eye cream and put a reusable eye mask over it. i use the umm, d’you reusable eye mask. for eye cream i use the minimalist one. caudalie eye cream is also amazing💕

6) lip balms >>> laniege lip masks and lip balms are the bestest loccitane lip balm is also good.

Dior is a newer single AI Sun model that was made as a performer at the Fazbear Theater in their Mega Pizzaplex with their Moon counterpart.

They escaped FazCo and lived on the streets for a time before being found and rescued. They now stay with other escaped animatronics at a small base in the Mohave Desert.

⚔️ Oberon [He/They] [Location: Mohave Desert]

Oberon is the Moon half of an older dual AI model, and was made for the Fazbear Theater but moved to being a Daycare Attendant. His Sun, Orion, ended up getting a virus that caused their system to crash and go into a paralyzed state whenever switching between each other.

FazCo put a quarantine patch on Orion's code and gave Oberon a visor to help keep the light sensor from activating the AI switch protocol. Orion is now stuck in a 'comatose-like' state inside their shared mind space and Oberon is desperate to find a way to fix him.

He escaped FazCo and now stays with other escaped animatronics at a small base in the Mohave Desert. He also now joins them on heist missions of targeted FazCo locations and acts as a scout and fighter.

🔪 Karma [He/They] [Location: Unknown]

Karma is a newer single AI Moon model that was made as a daycare attendant in their Mega Pizzaplex with their Sun counterpart. He ended up getting infected with a virus, the same one that Orion and Oberon are infected with.

He was able to escape FazCo and now spends his time travelling around preying on humans and lures them into relationships before ultimately killing them and moving onto the next human target.

💻 Umbra [He/Him] [Location: Mohave Desert]

Umbra is a newer single AI Moon model made to be a Daycare Attendant for his Mega Pizzaplex. However, due to his lackluster performance with the children, he was switched to nighttime security instead. His Pizzaplex went under financially, and he was rescued before he could be decommissioned.

Umbra now stays with other escaped animatronics at a small base in the Mohave Desert. He also joins them on heist missions and helps hack into the computer systems of targeted FazCo locations and takes care of anything technology related.
