thinking about the halsin proposition like. rotating in my head
#dirge is v restrictive of themselves--emotionally and mentally#it helps the worst of the thoughts. keeps the urge settled even if it is merely placebo effect#so they don't reach for things they desire#they wonder too often if they mistake the desire for friendship or romance as just a path to murder#they do find halsin attractive but it's also. they can't have it#they won't let themselves have it even outside of their relationship with astarion#it meaning anything beyond a meaningful friendship#it's kinda that place of wrong time for it#esp in act 3 where there is a lot going on internally with dirge#ough sorry halsin#owen plays bg3#act 3 spoilers#im already kinda. planning out next playthrough stuff for story reasons#maybe then things will play out for them#ahhhhhhhhhksdhfkjshdkf ;--;
