#discord problems

Okay, I just wanted to get this out there bc I'm not sure if this is just a problem on my end or other people are dealing with the same thing.

So I wasn't getting Discord notifcations for the past 20 minutes or so. The last time i sent a message was at 10:00 am today and i wasn't getting any responses to either my message in the channel i was in or i didn't see any other messages pop up in any of the other channels or servers i am in until 10:24. The same thing happened yesterday and a few other people in a Dan and Phil discord server i am in were also having the same problem because, for example, when the new DnP video uploaded, we didn't get any notifications from the admin bots about the upload until much later. (they usually happen immediately when dnp upload) The problem happened on both my phone and computer.

Anyone else having this problem?

This account appear out of nowhere online while they never dm me or friend request me. Is thisa scam or not ? How did they appear there ?

Heads up, everyone, VERY POSSIBLE scam.

I just booted up my PC. When I do that, some of my apps start automatically, among them GOG, Steam and Discord. The other two booted up normally, but Discord couldn't, and instead I got this notification about how I was supposedly blocked - which was odd, because I wasn't blocked on mobile. This looks incredibly sus, so before I did anything, I restarted my PC, and then the notification didn't come up again. Discord booted up as normal, and is still working as usual for me on desktop, only for some reason the text I write is red for some reason, but other than that, nothing catastrophic has happened yet.

Also I literally didn't do anything to trigger this, the app was simply, automatically, on it's own, booting up. I did not get the CHANCE to anything to make this happen.

TLDR: If you get this notification, DON'T CLICK ON ANYTHING. RESTART YOUR COMPUTER.

Discord friends. If you get a thing from my previous account saying that I falsely reported your account. Do not trust it. Do not contact anyone. Report the account. It is a scam.

Seems that a couple discord servers are down rn. Idk if it's region specific but @maawi1253 @kedreeva and others I'm in, they seem to be affected

I was falsely accused on discord

I AM SO MAD. I was falsely reported on Discord by someone who had assumed my account was the one they wanted to report, and now I'm jumping through flipping hoops.

I discovered that I had 129 reports whose group reported me for HACKING. I have most likely lost my account completely because the support basically SHAFTED me and said I needed to pay to process an appeal. I've sent an email to the support discord website trying to figure all of this out since the PERSON JUST BAILED out of the conversation after I said I couldn't pay right now..... their side of the conversation POOFED out of existence. I'm sorry, but WTF, Discord. Seriously, you gave me no warning whatsoever (because there wasn't one to give) and no email saying that your account has been reported. You're suspended without finding out why until after talking to someone to whom you must hand over the account.

I need some help with this. I have NO IDEA WHAT just happened.

Does anyone have any idea who this person is and WHAT IN THE GODS I'm supposed to do about getting my account back and closing the nitro CAUSE THAT HAS CARD INFO

Update: discord fixed the problem hoping it stays that way reminder to self of in doubt don’t click on anything from anyone who might act suspicious and if they claim to need you to test something not to open or dl anything from them

F my day, should have know something was weird on discord today when a penpal who I met on a penpal discord server goes by Rose all of a sudden DMs says to check out something for her but ends up being tricked into clicking something I felt was awkward got hacked and tryin to get discord customer support to help fix it, went and changed all the important passwords I could think of but damn the heat got to my brain cells, if anyone has discord or are friends wit me on there let me kno bc I don’t kno when I will get it back but made a new one incase and have to look up the servers again 🤬😡😤😫😣

First of all problems anyone know wat other precautions to take??
