GURA, THE GOOD SCHOOL GIRL
DO NOT REUPLOAD / EDIT / TRACE / MONETIZE MY ART FROM OTHER SITES.
Only clients can repost my work without permission and provide artist link to direct my art gallery.
Author’s comment:
Hi! It's been weeks since I've been away from all accounts I'm using-- wait a second, it's already month has passed?! Well, here goes the commission I've first to finish it. :) This is my commissioned artwork for Ranger, he requested to draw Gawr Gura in school outfit. This is a flat-colored, gradient style commission. I'm currently slumped up new commissions at this moment so I'm not accepting any custom, made out of scratch projects. The new commission YCH project will be posted soon :)
Author's Note:
DO NOT start a roleplay using direct messages/comments & replies with my artworks. Aesthetic or inspiration tag is good enough
DO NOT add your playful or direct rudeness to my posts such as replies, comments, hidden tags and private messages.
DO NOT tag and marked as a kin/me/morally questionable content etc. Aesthetic or Inspiration tag is good enough.
DO NOT claim my artworks belong to you, and removing / cropping my watermarks away.
DO NOT sell my art for monetary profit.
DO NOT SUBMIT ANY CRYPTOCURRENCY/NFT ART AND A.I. IMAGE GENERATOR WITH MY COMMISSIONED / PERSONAL ARTWORK.
DO NOT dub my artwork / comics, especially A.I. voicework.
Please DM me for inquiries such as commissioned work or reporting my artwork has been reposted or edited.

guys i’ll be honest.. I’ve made it through a lot on here, but if tumblr decides to sell to midjourney or any other generative AI I have to delete everything… it seems like they’ve already scraped most of the posts on here dating all the way back to 2014, but even if it’s too late to prevent theft of my art, I just can’t keep using a website that would do something like this— I don’t want to contribute clicks and views to a company that so readily throws its artists and creators (the reason anyone uses the site!) under the bus. If it does happen, I will probably make an archival drive of all my posted pieces and upload a nightshaded version to google drive or pixiv or something. If there are any works you really love, I would recommend saving them on your own.
I’ve had my art reuploaded without permission, stolen and sold on random websites, but this generative AI grift is the worst of them all. It’s soulless greed that does nothing but take advantage of those who already struggle to make a living in a notoriously thin job market. It’s a pointless theft machine. As if the world was ever starved for artists.

Im the reuploading asker from before! I definitely agree that downloading as saving things is fundamentally important to the preservation of the internet and its content, and its all fair and good to save things personally for sure! My only thing about reuploads is that like, u know ive had my art reuploaded multiple times with credit (and without tbh) before but without my permission on tumblr... Where i posted it originally and got a decent amount of traction so it does just feel like someone else is reaping the benefits (attention, compliments) for my hardwork while i didnt see any of that which is valuable to me (and other artists). Im not really sure where im going with this but yeah! I guess id like to hear ur thoughts
So that's the thing. Someone saving art to their personal computer is all well and good for preservation purposes, but it's not the same as uploading it to a site like danbooru where many other people can also download it. Now it's on dozens or more people's hard drives, making it much more likely to survive into the future.
But putting aside the media preservation aspect of all this, I have encountered this viewpoint you're stating before. Basically that reposting is robbing the artist of engagement, which like, I have a number of issues with. I understand wanting to post something you worked on, and have people like it and interacting with it a bunch. Having something you made get tons of likes and positive comments is really affirming these days, it's a big way people interact. In the past I might have scoffed at this notion, but it's just a fact of the internet we all socialize on. We all want to see the number go up.
And like I said in the last answer, I do prefer to reblog art directly from artists on here. There's no need to make my own post, and I like keeping the artist's original commentary! I always provide sources and try not to reblog unsourced art, or provide the source myself.
All that being said, I don't think there is a real solution to this issue that doesn't involved extremely draconian TOS agreements that would make tumblr and twitter even more awful. I think any potential downsides of people being able to post other peoples art are outweighed by the benefits of being able to exchange files pretty freely on the internet!!
this answer has been sitting in my drafts and is kinda half baked but ive kept you waiting for long enough😩

Hi there, I’m not trying to be mean when I ask this, but do you have permission to use the fanart you post with your fics? I don’t see artist credits and know many Japanese artists do not like their art to be reposted, especially not without credit.
Hello lovely anon! Thank you so much for asking about art in my fics. I appreciate you starting this conversation, and am very happy to have this reopen again.
When I began my journey of writing fics, I used to use gifs already premade on this site and have them as the title image. As my interest in the characters spread further into characters not in OPLA, I began to seek out art on other platforms.
The art I use, I find on: Reddit, Pinterest, or a good ol' fashioned google search. I have asked creators on this platform for permission to use their art in fics, and have respected their wishes whether permission is given or not. So far, I have been told "no" only one time, and have respected that wish.
If you hover over the little "alt" button, that's where I paste my sources to give credit to the artists, and implore you to seek out their work and look at it for yourself. It's the little box on the left-hand side of the image (or the three dots that come up when you hover your mouse over them). I have used text links in the past to send people to their sites, but I thought the alt text box felt better: like a little watermark to send those looking for their work.
I've responded to an ask like this in the past, but I am very much open to continuing this dialogue. I am constantly learning about how to best be respectful and give credit where credit is due. I never claim this art as my own (if you've seen the art I do on here, it's lackluster to say the least), I use it to inspire the words I create.
Thank you again for opening this dialogue, I appreciate your concern and rallying to the defence of artists and creators on here.
Edit
I have been informed that this is not what the alt box is for, and am going through each post I've made with art and added links to where I've found them via collecting them from the alt box and pasting the link for easier access. I honestly thought that was what we were meant to do, and I apologise for my misunderstanding.
Going forward, I will be no longer be using art found on Pinterest or Google because I've been made aware that some of that art is reposts by people who did not get permission from the original artists to reupload and share it. Another misunderstanding from my part.
I am truly sorry for the way this was handled on my part. It didn't sit well with me, and I am trying to do better.

RE: Pinterest Art Theft
Cut for long and pessimistic/downer rant about my experiences with art theft:
Not to say shame EVERYONE who cites Pinterest, but educate in good faith… if they continue to source Pinterest, then there's no hope for them.
People who post TO Pinterest have no excuse for theft.
It's reportable, but seeing as Pinterest asks for mailing address, phone number, email address, and full legal name for copyright claims, you're probably better off just making an account to do manual reports.
I personally refuse to make a Pinterest account and give them any info just to dunk on assholes who farm clout by treating it as a public clipart library. The option to manually sic their copyright department on stolen artwork via email is defanged immediately by:
Tumblr media
...not to mention the counter-defense is that it's 'fair use' and if you don't hold a verifiable copyright of the work being reposted, Pinterest is likely to just disregard it. So I've more or less given up and just generally consider Pinterest a permanently shit-listed site. But as I mentioned in the reblog, maybe strength in numbers will make them actually do something about it.
Honestly, it gets SO much worse than Pinterest bulk reposting. Getting stuff uploaded to a 'booru without permission is awful, though at least sometimes they'll put a username. Having people on Steam Community straight up post my art saying they made it and deleting all my comments telling them to take it down while citing my original posts as sources is EVEN worse.
I've had people take my art and put it on RedBubble merch and sell it, and I've tried to contact them to have it taken down and failed. I've seen the same people take ACTUAL OFFICIAL ART OFF WEBSITES and sell it on merch and not get punished for it. I've seen my art in bootleg sticker collections and other kinds of merch son Am*zon. I've had people use my art in MONETIZED YouTube videos without permission/credit! Multiple times! But at least in those cases, I was able to contact for removal and/or credit. Still infuriating.
The worst part is how it diverts feedback from the original creator of a work, but as someone who has also had loads of people talk about my work behind my back on Discords I'm not a member of, only to have one person in that Discord come to me to tell me what people are talking about rather than commenting on my work directly themselves, I'm just kind of losing my hope in social media communities overall and am jaded.
I'm kind of amazed I still do art at all. I've wanted to give up many times. But I can't abandon it completely, I'd probably implode, heh...
I'm not saying we shouldn't be upset about Pinterest reuploading... if anything it's an indicator that the game is taking off.
But considering Pinterest is barely the tip of the art-theft iceberg, this should be the eye-opener that people either need to be:
A) More cautious about putting signatures on and/or watermarking their work (doesn't always work; easily cropped or edited unless you make it SO obnoxious that it literally begins to interfere with the art itself), or
B) Just learn to accept that it's part of the process of being an artist and try to dissuade people from using sites like Pinterest.
I wish it didn't have to be this way, but it is. Not to say we shouldn't fight back, but artists are given VERY little recourse to protect their own work, and people with money to perpetuate theft (especially now with A|) are doing their damndest to strip us of ownership of our work.
Pinterest is a vessel of the public, and until there's some way to, idk, unionize art hobbyists to protect them from being taken advantage of, the public is your enemy, as an artist. The average public consumer just wants content, they don't care how they get it.
The best practice is to form communities that have some form of internal familiarity and accountability for larger cases of art fraud and impersonation. This helped a lot during Terraria days, when it came to finding blatant thieves claiming to have actually MADE the work, rather than "I found this cool pic, idk where it's from."
But if this small amount of Pinterest reposts (trust me, this is small) is going to get people enraged when it's the lowest and least-enforceable form of reposting, I suggest we keep our eyes peeled for the future.

hey guys fun fact:
anything someone puts work into should be credited
"but gifs dont count as art!" i dont care i still spent time on that. all you literally need to do is open the add gif window and search a tag on the post the gif was in
and if thats too much just tag my url on the post
also please dont reupload my stuff to other sites without asking me
heres an example of lack of credit
Tumblr media
(if you know who the asker is dont block them they werent aware and i dont blame them)
hers an example of credit:
Tumblr media
Wait how do you get the little box saying "gif by x?"
Tumblr media
click on add gif
Tumblr media
this window will pop up
Tumblr media
search a tag that was on the post the gif orginates from
i recommend my text post tag or gif tag for things by me
summary of the whole post for people like me
- if you are going to upload my gifs on someplace in tumblr credit me
- if you are going to upload to another site you must have my permission and i want to know where and what you are doing with it

Hey, I’m really sorry that someone reposted your art without your permission. As an artist myself, it really sucks to see your work being reuploaded to other sites/accounts like that.
I wanted to pop in and tell you how much your art has inspired me. I love how you draw facial expressions, and your vibrant colors make me very happy. Forever jealous of artists that can do line art with thinner lines and make it look amazing. I always end up on the heavier side, raaaaaaaaaaa. Hopefully, I’ll one day absorb your amazing line art skills by admiring your art long enough.
Forever grateful that an amazing artist draws for one of my hyper-fixations. So glad Scooby Doo brought me to your blog!
hey, thanks for the message. i appreciate it. unfortunately, these things really do happen. we can never get rid of reposters, but what strikes me as wild is that this recent one posted it before i can even post it on my own blog. and without any credit where they found it too :( i feel like that's the part that upsets me the most. it feels doubly rude.
thank you for the kind words. im glad it makes other people happy. and all it takes is consistent practice :) im wishing you luck on your art journey!

DO NOT REUPLOAD / EDIT / TRACE / MONETIZE MY ART FROM OTHER SITES.
Only clients can repost my work without permission and provide artist link to direct my art gallery.
Author’s comment:
Ohohohoo... I've been exiled from working commissions since few weeks ago! I drew this commission for Genie, I'm designing for his Playmat based on Yu-Gi-OH!'s original beast character namely Live Twin Lil-la.
I'm still working endlessly while accepting new waitlist commissions, and I have to continue the last WIP that's been long overdue since last May. (Both of us got busy, especially my other client!)
If you really love my art and willing to support me to keep up, you can always hit up my vgen.co anytime! Really helps me to keep me alive from all funds I need! :)

Hellooooo hi I’m Entropy, and I like to draw traditional art and whatnot. I am also known to blab about various garbage. Sometimes I do fanart, sometimes I inflict OCs upon the world. Hyperfixations/special interests are likely to cycle out now and again.
Do not use my art for AI training. Do not repost/reupload without permission.
Bluesky | Insta | DeviantArt (not active / archive)
Interests and hobbies: Watercolor illustrations, character design, concept art, minecraft, learning about occult history, western esotericism, ancient and medieval Middle Eastern and European history, cultures, religions, and languages. I’m pretty susceptible to liking JRPGs and shounen anime, and I particularly like space fantasy or supernatural genres. Currently (slowly) learning Korean and Hebrew.
Other things: I block pretty liberally at this point, most often antisemites and terfs, the former more often bc that’s just been unchecked on this site lately. If you find yourself blocked, it’s statistically most likely to be one of those two things. I also just block people who seem exhausting or annoying though.

IF YOU'RE HERE FOR CRITROLE
i'm mostly a campaign 2 fan; my favorite characters are molly/kingsley, jester, and essek and my favorite ship is jestermauk! i do, however, like all the campaigns, and you may once in a while catch be reblogging stuff about campaign 3
IF YOU'RE HERE FOR ASOIAF
do not drag me into discourse or character stan/ship wars i swear to god
my favorite characters are arya, sansa, loras, margaery, and edric dayne, jon, and satin, but there are many others i like! don't assume i hate your fave just cause i don't post about them as often
favorite ships are sansaery, jonsatin, and arya/edric dayne
so i honestly kinda consider myself more team black leaning now, mostly cause i find myself thinking about and sketching those characters more (mainly jace, rhaenyra, and the dragontwins), but i still love plenty of green characters! neutrals and green fans will always be welcome here; dragging me into team or any kind of stan wars will result in a block
IF YOU'RE HERE FOR OTHER FANDOMS
my secondary fandoms often change but currently i'm super into the folk of the air trilogy and nevermore on webtoon
not really a fandom per se, but i am a massive vampire enjoyer

Hello :-) I'm an artist who does a mix of drawing, sewing, + 3D modelling. main subjects include star trek, OCs, monsters/demons, and horror. I post pretty infrequently due to my gay disordered mind.
I got DID or OSDD or sum shit and this is our collective art blog, but we don't necessarily post with any distinction.

Doujin anon here, i think i was confused about what "Doujin" means since i had presumed it had just meant "fan manga" for awhile. While thats technically true partially, upon looking at the definition again it could also apply into other mediums as well. Does this mean all of those mspa fanadventures technically count as doujinshi or no? Idk, i didn't even know the proper terminology of the word for awhile correct me if im wrong I'm not savvy with Japanese terms. Like the other anon said, i was one of those people who didn't know what Japanese people meant by "cp" like i knew it didn't have any relation to you know what, but due to the language barrier i couldn't figure it out on my own. Ex: rkgk means sketch right? should probably look into a guide about the Japanese abbreviations and definitions for this stuff.
In a way, yes. Doujin itself means a group of people who share a hobby or interest. It's their word for fandom. Not to be confused with circle, which means a group of people (or even an individual person itself), selling doujin works as a team. Though not all Japanese people on places like Pixiv tag fanarts, as doujin 同人 when they upload it. Doujin also refers to works that started out as original comics, games, and more sold in Comiket that soon became professional works. Things like Touhou or Higurashi started out as an original game that was sold in Comiket, blew up in popularity as time went on. You can even think doujin games sold at Comiket like the ones mentioned here, as indie games. RKGK is the abbreviation for rakugaki, which means doodle or scribble in Japanese. Japanese artists tag this when they drew the art as said doodle or scribble to pass the time that it's not considered as art pieces to them. Most of the time though, I think said doodles make a great art piece alone. If you try telling them that, they get embarrassed and try to be humble. But please give them praises to let them know they are amazing! I don't blame you on the language barrier thing. Eastern fandom culture is different from the Western. When Japan does consume Western media, they take it as it is, a fictional media work. Compared to Western, who would think works from the past that were made in its time period, is problematic and should never be brought up again. Japan would know about the dark histories for some, but they also believe the intent for similar themes or topics that would be shown for upcoming or future works, is not out of maliciousness most of the time. The past is past and they would rather move on. With some exceptions based on country's personal history, but that's a whole other can of worms. The Japanese fandom also tend to be only exclusive to themselves. The relation between Eastern and Western fandom were not on good terms back then due to things like people reuploading Pixiv art and putting Nico Nico Douga videos on sites like YouTube, without permission. They even have applications for private community groups to make sure the person they are speaking to is Japanese and not some Western using a translator to sneak in and do things like download MMD models before releasing them back into public. Recently, Pixiv states that whatever country you are in, some content will not be shown there, to comply with other country's laws such as Europe's. Sites like Twitter/X already are banning stuff that's fine in Japan in order to follow Western standards. It's why sites like Misskey state that Japanese customs and beliefs towards certain media is different from America and Europe. If these bad communications and censorship keep going on, it won't be long until Japan finally decides all their works will only be Japanese exclusive and isolate themselves again. To the point they might even see if Western users are might be using VPNs to sneak in and block them. We really got to acknowledge the different fandom customs and cultures in various countries and languages. A Spanish community fandom will be different from something in English speaking ones. Not all groups have dark intentions. Only speak up if a person or group starts to get harmed because of it. And I don't mean like getting offended over a drawing someone stumbled upon by accident. I mean like someone harming themselves or anything truly legal involved.
