Fleur was so relieved to see Dominique after what happened. "Dom!" She smiled brightly at her daughter, running to her and wrapping her arms around her. "I am so glad to see you."
"I am just glad that my love for art have slowly started to come back. Not having a hobby or passion sounds awfully dull if you ask me" clasping her hands together, she sighed while she looked at her mother. "It makes me happy too, mum"

closed starter for @svfetch (Fleur and Dominique)
Fleur was getting used to Washington but she did miss her family. She missed Bill. She was full of worry if he was alright. She had just had Victoire before she arrived here and didn’t know what was going on. If her baby was with Bill. If they were safe. She let out a very slow and slightly sad sigh. She had always hoped on having a big family. Maybe three or four kids but now she was here, alone as far as she knew. A voice broke her from her thoughts and she looked up. “Sorry did you say something, Cherie?”

"Of course Dominique. You don't need to worry at all " Fleur smiled at her daughter. She wanted all of her children to know genuine love for their parents. Know that Fleur would do anything for them. She would get incredibly protective over her children.

“Don’t feel bad. It is what it is. We love you even if you cannot remember.” Fleur placed her hand on Dominique’s shoulder. “The thing about this family is we deal with whatever is in front of us. Of course I wish you had the memories but it is okay. I promise.”
Dominique smiled while she listened to what her mother was saying, nodding slowly. It was comforting to know that no matter what she would still have them. That she wouldn’t be all alone in the world. “Thank you”

"Of course I understand. I am sorry it made you sad ma cherie. But it is good to know what makes you sad and what can affect you to this way. Being self aware is incredibly important." Fleur smiled at Dominique. "You definitely do. I see both of us in you. And it makes me so happy."
"I also don't want to get tired of watching, you know? I have a tendency to drop things and avoid them whenever things become too much which is a shame. I did that with art for a little bit which made me sad" Dominique told her mother. Beaming at that, she then looked down. "I hope I have some traits from father"

"Yes that is the danger of the movies once and a while it's fine but not all the time. I agree." Fleur chuckled lightly looking over at her daughter. It was so nice to spend this time together. To get to bond. "You must have, I think you got a lot from me but I do definitely see your father in you too." It was nice to see her children being such a mix of Fleur and Bill. "I completely agree. Things are better with that fruity flavour."
Letting out a soft giggle when she heard her mother's words, she then gently nudged her. "So many genres, so little time. I wish I could just spend hours upon hours watching movies but I can't. I have responsibilities" she sighed and shook her head. "I must have gotten it from you. I personally think that things taste much better when there's a little fruit flavour in it"

"I only ask good questions." Fleur teased her daughter. "I think we might be able to find one that is sort of both. There is everything imaginable these days." She was enjoying this time with her daughter so much, to get to bond. "Me too. You must get it from me." As weird as it was she pushed for fruit flavored things and lots of fruit at her wedding with Bill.
"Hm now that is a very good question" she said as she started to think about the different movies she liked. "I would love to watch either a rom com or a historical drama. I have always liked those" she clasped her hands behind her back. "I love anything fruit flavoured"

"Sounds like a lovely idea. On y va." Fleur nodded. "What sort of movie would you like to watch and most importantly what is your favorite flavor of ice cream?" She grinned at her daughter. She was so glad to get this time with her.
She smiled softly when she felt the kiss. Affection was so hard to get nowadays which was why it meant the world that her mother didn't shy away from it. "I would like to go and buy ice cream and then watch a movie at my place"

"Allons-y then. We've got all day." Fleur stood up and held her hands out for her daughter to take. She was sad that she didn't have the memories of her other children being born but she was so glad that she was getting this chance with her now, to get to know her and be around her. "Well you do look like a princess." Having dealt wit a dragon during the tournament Fleur couldn't say she was keen. "Dragons are better in daydreams."
"I would love to go to the museum with you!"the blonde said and nodded eagerly. Having a chance to truly just bond with the mother she had temporarily forgotten about sounded like heaven. She just wanted to rebuild the relationship and make sure that it would be strong no matter what was thrown in their direction. "It all depends what mood I am in. But mostly I am a princess who watches over a land of dragons"

"Merci means a lot. My brave fille." Fleur pressed a kiss to the top of her daughter's head. "Yes let's do something. What would you like to do? We can really do anything." It would be fun to have a day out with Dominique.
"I truly cannot see you be anything but strong. It's just in your nature, mama" she said and nodded, looking at her with a warm smile on her face. "But.. would you like to do something? Sitting around and talking is fun and all but it also get's rather boring"

"he took me out dancing once and went to get drinks, tripped and stumbled. When he recomposed himself he had this big grin on his face. I knew that I loved him then. He was never scared to be himself." She nodded. She and Bill were made for each other. It didn't matter what his mother or sister thought. "Someday someone will. You are beautiful, smart and kind. Anyone would be lucky to have you. You're also young. You've got time."
Dominique smiled while she listened to her mother tell her the story of how she met her dad. It was a sweet story and she couldn't help the sigh that left her. "That is so romantic" she whispered. "I wish I will meet someone that sweeps me off my feet"

"What other sort of things do you daydream about. if you don't mind me asking of course? I don't want to pry." But she was curious what her daughter thought about. What she daydreamed about. It would help he relate to her and understand her.
To know that she was loved by her mother even when she had no memory of who she was warmed her heart and it truly meant the world to her. "I will always let myself daydream. It's always been a comfort for me, you see"

Fleur listened to her daughter, smiling gently. I was so nice to hear more about her, what went on inside Dominique's head. She couldn't help the smile and the pride she felt in her. Dominique was a truly wonderful woman. "It's not the same but if we are trapped here the imagination can take you to far off places. We could always go to the museum. I know it's not the same but a chance to explore new places in a way." She wished she could give her what she wanted, what she daydreamed off. "What sort of fantasy world?"
"Well I daydream a lot about being able to travel the world. I have always wondered what it would feel like to actually be able to visit other places and not just be stuck here forever. I also daydream a lot about being in a fantasy world"

"it is highly likely. It is so endearing though. A quality I wouldn't change in either of you." She smiled at her daughter. "Daydream away. There is nothing wrong with it. One day someone one will and it will take you so by surprise."
"Ah so I got my clumsiness from him then? I have always wondered" she giggled softly while she looked at her mother and then down at her hands. "I know that I got time. I am not stressed at all when it comes to me finding love. I just can't help but to daydream about someone sweeping me off my feet"

Fleur hadn't expected the question but was absolutely happy to answer. "I took a part time job at Gringotts and Bill was working there too. It was just sort of meant to be and we started dating. He never treated me like other men did. Awkward and it was just nice. A year later he proposed."
@mischiefxmuses continued from here
Just looking at Fleur, she smiled. She could see the similarities between the two of them. Their eyes were similar or maybe that was just her being hopeful. "How did you and dad meet?" Dominique then asked all of the sudden.
