orion and walburga black are two of new york’s most well-known patricians. the children of aristocrats who were the children of upper-crusters who were the children of bluebloods. the term socialite brings to mind hard partiers, blondes with dogs in their purses who got into a little too much trouble. that’s new money. no, the black family’s goals have always been much more obfuscated. 

sirius black starting boarding school in new york city at eleven years old may have been the best thing that could have happened to him, and the worst thing to happen to his family. sirius had been sharply rebellious since he was three years old, but getting him away from his parents gave him real emotional ammo where before there was only empty arguments.

in school, sirius had a talent for a few things. he entered speaking french and latin alongside english, but quickly developed his skills in literature, speech and debate, and music. that wasn’t to say that he didn’t get in trouble-- he still landed himself in detention at least once a week, but he was charming enough that very few of his teachers could develop a grudge.

sirius was fourteen the first time that he appeared on the cover of a tabloid. he’d spent the night in juvie after what had supposed to just be a day of hooky had gotten out of hand, and the ferris bueller connection had been drawn immediately. it was a real smear on the family name at the time, but it looks quaint compared to the infamy that sirius has put on his parents in the twelve years hence.

sirius graduated in 2013 and has gone on to start his own rock group, performing against the establishment in venues all over the city and beyond. the band may be more widely recognized for their members than their sheer talent alone, but, as long as their messages are being spread, sirius is happy.

the earliest emotion petunia evans remembers is that of envy, her sister’s talents making themselves apparent from a young age. of course her parent’s favoured lily, she was warmer, kinder, had more friends. and now, witchcraft. this only made her upset, practically begging for her parent’s attention on the daily. lily got everything. petunia got nothing. or at least that’s how she saw it.

For the beginning years of his life Mike didn’t have any friends :(  his parents died in a fire when he was young and he was taken in by his grandfather.  There he worked on a sheep farm and was homeschooled so he didn’t really get to make any friends until he was 13 and met the Losers.  Honestly he would do anything for them, they’re his best friends.

Michelle Jones-- or MJ, to the few she calls friends-- was born on June 10th. She’s had a decent enough life. But sometimes she sees flickers of another-- it’s pretty similar to this one. She’s still an artist, with a particular gift for sketching people in crisis. The shelves in her room are still lined with books ranging from Jane Austen to the faked moon landing. She’s a little messier there, but beyond that? Nothing too drastic.

And yet, isn’t it? Because she shouldn’t have memories of another world. She shouldn’t feel like she’s lived a life outside of this one. When she dreams, she sees friends she’s never known, a father who stuck around. And when she wakes up, reality isn’t terrible. But it gets her questioning-- is it even real?

first comes first, eddie doesn’t have any of his memories.

eddie baby has undiagnosed DID, which means ed has a friend in da membrane that talks to him sometimes. he has a few of the same qualities that ed has, but then he has a lot of qualities that ed doesn’t have- like charisma for DAYS. 

if you asked ed, he couldn’t tell you when his friend first made an appearance; it’s almost like he’s been there his whole life. perhaps started out as an imaginary friend to talk to as a kid as he didn’t attract too many people with how smart weird and talkative he was. but over time this friend just became his enemy that became more aggressive and now seems to have a life of their own through ed when he’s sleeping.

ed is an ex-forensic examiner and scientist. a year ago he was let go from his job after his coworker and girlfriend had gone missing. obviously, it didn’t make ed look good, but they had nothing they could pin ed to the case when there was no body or evidence. 

with no job, ed spends a lot of his time scouting for them so he can keep his apartment. sometimes he’ll get a call from the police station asking for his opinion on things, but other than that it’s a lot of sitting in coffee shops and bars looking through job ads. though he doesn’t have a job, he seems to not struggle with keeping the apartment as he somehow ends up with money in his pocket every few days. a lot. 

some days you’ll get talkative, weird ed and others you’re gonna get the dark, witty, charismatic ed. and if you come across the latter for the first time, don’t expect him to remember you the next day. but there’s no telling when you’ll come across who.

Considering he still has all of his memories, Casper not only remembers his time as a child, but he also remembers his time as a ghost. While extremely grateful for the opportunity to be alive again, he’s not about to let that secret get out. Who knows what people would say about him then? It’s not like he’s had many people like him over the last ninety years or so anyway, so he’s just hoping to make some more friends again. In many ways, it feels like he’s been given a second chance at this life thing.

Since he hasn’t been in town long, he’s been trying to find a place to settle in while he got the first job he could find as a busboy. For now, the owner of the bar he works at is allowing him to sleep in the back, just until he finds a place of his own. He really loves his job so far though because it allows him to talk to people daily.

Casper hopes that he can eventually put down roots here since he already likes it so much, but while he knows that may take time, he really just wants to find the one or two close people that he can really share his time with and maybe eventually tell them his true story.

upon the untimely death of talia hale, it was expected that her children would be the ones to take over the medium-sized company that she had spent her life building. derek has spent the last thirteen years unburying himself from that guilt, while eschewing that wish completely.

Michael killed their older sister before Laurie was born, parents died when she was little, she was adopted and didn’t know her brother was Michael until she was 17

On Halloween night Michael went on a killing spree in her hometown, killing her best friends and trying to kill her

She immediately went to the hospital and Michael went “mmmm I’m still not done”

Michael and Dr. Loomis died in the fire

Laurie is only like 60% sure he’s dead

elsa does not have her memories. 

if you watch elsa, she’s always polite, always smiling at everyone and always making sure they’re doing well. she was raised to be kind, respectful and to always make sure she did the right thing. and that’s exactly what she does. 

but there’s a problem here. people terrify her. she’s so afraid of messing up in front of them or making a mistake that sometimes, people think she’s a snob. but really she’s quiet and a bit shy. 

she wants to be better at making friends, but a lot of the time, she just sounds a little too logical or constantly wants to question everything. elsa cares so incredibly deeply about everything, she just doesn’t always know how to show her emotions. when she gets hurt, you’ll know. she gets quiet and reserved, even more than before. 

everything changed when she met maverick. he made her feel like a princess. from the moment they started talking and started dating, elsa felt herself open up. he made her laugh, giggle, and bouncy on a daily basis. this man gave her everything she didn’t realize she needed. 

they got married three years later and have two beautiful kids. everything about her life is perfect. her life is fun and meaningful. now, granted, sometimes, she does slip back into her old sensitive, cautious ways, but that’s improving on a daily basis. 

elsa owns a year round christmas shop, which is right next to her husband’s tea shop and underneath their apartment. it’s called: let it christmas. she collects so many cute christmassy things and it’s just this super cute feel good shop.

her fake life:

all blossom remembers is her being an orphan with no family

(trigger warning: abuse) she spent a lot of time protecting the kids from the orphanage from being abused and mistreated by some of the employees. ever since she was little, she always made sure that the others were okay

with the fact that blossom took in everyone under her wing, she never sought out to find a family to adopt her, and the employees never let her be adopted

once she reached the age of eighteen, she was automatically put into the streets with no food or anything

blossom ended up going into a shelter for awhile until she was able to get herself onto her feet and got a clean up job at a kickboxing place

the girl enjoyed the sport and she would secretly train until the owner saw her and allowed her to take classes in exchange for her to keep working there

she now lives in a teeny tiny apartment and is just a badass kickboxing queen.

at forty-one, dean winchester is a licensed and mastered mechanic, a lifelong new yorker, and has twenty-seven years under his belt as his father’s right hand man at their family business, a repair shop in the bronx. 

lately, however, both dean and his father have been stepping back from work, because of his father’s declining health. dean’s been helping him to run his household, stay up to date with the finances of the business, and spending quite a bit of his time at the hospital.

that isn’t to say that dean’s life revolves around that kind of thing. he has friends, and cares about the rest of his family, too. he even has a daughter, who he makes a conscious effort to spend as much time with as he can.

as far as education goes, dean dropped out of high school on his seventeenth birthday so that he could start working full time at the garage and help to support his family properly. he’s since achieved his g.e.d., but higher education’s never really been his purview.
