Hello, have followed you for years and have always enjoyed your blog and your information about art and art history. It’s a little saddening to see you selling “past life hypnotherapy,” as, not gonna lie, it seems a little….grifty….and not at all rooted in science….. Confused as to why that’s going on at this art history blog.
I get it- it sounds out there- but there is a lot clinical research on past life regression- actually hundreds of thousands of documented case studies (in the Michael Newton foundation alone). And it's a field of study that has been around for a long time -Carl Jung talked about past life regression. Something like 1/2 the global population believes in reincarnation of some sort. So, It's not a grift but it also isn't for everyone so it's ok if you don't understand it - or don't want to understand it (you can check out Dr. Michael Newton's work or Dr. Brian Weiss both were highly regarded psychotherapists who stumbled upon past life regression in their practice while taking clients through hypnosis and made it their life work to study and document it. I recommend looking into Weiss' work first, because Newton primarily talks about regression to life between life (so the spirit world) and that is a pretty advanced topic - if something like past life regression & reincarnation seems too woo woo for you) But the fact is- It's my blog so I'm going to share and talk about what I want to share & talk about. And I'm am a certified past life regression hypnotherapist. I'm also a psychic medium. Both things that I have had to do a lot of work to fully accept and embrace. Both are incredible gifts that I love to share with others - not grifts. Honestly I do both mediumship readings & past life regression for free all the time. But I do value my own labor as well as the labor of others in the metaphysical fields- so I do charge for my services - but it's super reasonable prices - Like I definitely am underselling my own work usually it's easily 2x a much. But I feel very strongly that mediumship and past life regression should be accessible so I set my prices accordingly. Anyway. I'm a queer, trans, psychic medium, hedgewitch, certified past life regression hypnotherapist, Reiki Master, who loves art history. If you're not a fan- you know where the unfollow button is.

Among the modern voices exploring this phenomenon, Dr. Brian Weiss stands out as a pioneering figure. A psychiatrist turned past-life regression therapist, Weiss’s books have inspired millions to reconsider what happens after death.
For those seeking spiritual insights into past life regression, Weiss’s work serves as an accessible and fascinating introduction. His findings often align with Hindu beliefs about life after death, reinforcing ancient concepts such as karma, samsara (the cycle of rebirth), and moksha (liberation). Hello dear magickal beings! 💫
I wanted to give you a super 🔥hot🔥 recommendation today on an absolute must read, if you have not heard about it before:
The book “Many Lives, Many Masters” by Dr. Brian L. Weiss.
My dear sister gifted it to me last week as we were talking about a regression therapy I went through a few years back, in which I realized that my cat Lilly, that I got by very strong intuition (I'll tell you at the end) was actually my son from a past life.
So, it's is a fascinating book that explores the concept of past lives and reincarnation. It's based on Dr. Weiss’s real-life experiences with a patient named Catherine, who began recalling past lives under hypnosis. Her memories helped address her present-day anxieties and phobias, leading to amazing healing as well as unbelievable development of her intuitive abilities.
Dr. Weiss, who, as expected from an academic scientist, was initially very skeptic, becomes convinced of the reality of reincarnation and the existence of spiritual beings called “Masters” who provide wisdom and guidance through Catherine. The book delves into themes of spiritual growth, the continuous journey of the soul, and the interconnectedness of all beings.
It’s a must read for anyone interested in spirituality, healing, and the mysteries of the human soul and life after death.
I've been playing around with the thought of learning Quantum Healing ever since my regression therapy session and learning about Dolores Cannon's work. Now I have no doubt I just have to do it very soon.
Oh and regarding how I got my sweet kitty Lilly: It was literally a situation where I saw her photo, after 3 years of thinking about bringing a cat and looking online on a weekly basis at least, I immediately knew - "she's mine!!!" 😻 And I'm not one that makes big decisions on a whim, but I just immediately called the person and went to see her. And he brought her to me the day later. I also immediately knew her name as soon as she came out of his bag in my apartment, no idea where it came to me from.
And regarding this part in the regression session - i was a sort of little tribe's leader in Peru, and when I saw this sweet 6 year old boy in front of me, it was as if my heart jumped out of my chest and I started crying so much I couldn't stop. The therapist asked me why I was crying so much and I just said "He's my son, I missed him so much". Such an overwhelming experience. And then I said that Lilly was him.
And I was surprised at how this knowing just came out of me, but then, I've always called her my child :) And when my mom first saw me holding her she said, "you're holding her like she's your baby", and started calling her 'the granddaughter' hehe...
So that's one of my past lives stories, and this book just wowed me and really reinforced everything I went through in this session, and in some other intuitive experiences.
Did you ever go through any kind of hypnosis therapy or had any recollection of a past life? I'm super curious to hear your experiences!

My First Regression
First published May 23, 2019 Hey all, As promised,  a report on a session I did on one of my fellow attendees at Dr. Brian Weiss’s Past Life Regression workshop at the Omega Institute last week. Sorry for the delay in posting.  It was a lot harder than I thought to write this up.  There was a lot of detail and I didn’t want to forget anything.  As a matter of reference,  the entire regression…

[ok this is a long winded reincarnation rant. feel free to scroll or read if you have any curiosity on the topic.]
this year has been a shit show in a lot of ways but it’s also been a year that’s given me a lot of time to look inward instead of distracting myself to avoid doing that. i found dr brian weiss’ past life regression work this year, around january and it totally changed my perspective on life and death like a complete 180.
i was raised with christianity and i never felt any connection to it, and i tried. i mean it was pushed on me but there was also a time after my grandmother died where i was so low that i tried to grab on to prayer and what i was raised with to find comfort in it and it didn’t do anything for me. i felt no connection. the sermons our priest gave always had this sexist tinge, the church was against lgbtq and treated divorced people like failures and there was just too much i didn’t agree with. and the people in my family who pushed it on me the most were the biggest hypocrites so there was that too but anyway
but i also knew i wasn’t an atheist. i guess i was more so agnostic for a lot of years. i believed in the concept of god or a higher power but i didn’t feel like we were meant to fear god or that god would have these rules that would go against people for doing things like, loving each other. so anyway i just accepted my vague idea of what god was to me and left it alone. but i still had this little pull in me, for years, that wanted to find more of a belief system. more than just yes theres a god. i wanted to experience a genuine sense of spirituality more.
i found a lot of interest in eastern religious beliefs, found a lot of them believed to some degree in reincarnation which had intrigued me in the past. but it wasn’t until i found this video on youtube about how dr brian weiss who was a psychiatrist who sometimes used hypnosis with patients, and how his patient started experiencing past life memories instead of just forgotten childhood ones and then she started telling him things about himself that no one would know (details about his infant son who had died many years before this. this is before you could just google someone). which i guess he theorizes was a way for “god”  (he calls the concept of god “masters”. highly elevated souls) to prove to him that was she [his patient] was experiencing was real.
so anyway he started doing this kind of hypnosis therapy with his patients, past life regression therapy, and he has a whole book about different people’s experiences and how knowing abut our past lives can help us understand and deal with issues we’re experiencing in our present life and i mean unless your mind is open to this, it probably sounds crazy but i’m telling you. it opened something up for me. it made sense to me. it made me not feel afraid of death, or life, alike. I truly believe that everyone i’m close to in this life, i’ve known in a past life and we’re continuing to learn lessons with each other.
soulmates aren’t just romantic partners. soulmates are teachers. so yes your first love could’ve been one of your soulmates, as well as your husband/wife, but your grandmother, or your 4th grade teacher who told you that you were a good writer and prompted you to start writing and you realize it is one of your life callings (hello, mrs.s, thanks -- but i always feel the need to say my tumblr is not a reflection of my writing skill lmao tumblr is my brain dump.)
it has honestly helped me to love more. to find a way to love my mother even though she has hurt me in ways i struggle to forgive. (however, i don’t seek closeness with her. i have to have boundaries. and i will vent about her, probably forever because you know, i’m human and my feelings still get hurt. but i don’t direct anger toward her anymore. i just wish her peace because clearly she lacks that.).
i could go on and on about this but if you’re ever bored and want a good book to read, the first dr brian weiss book i read was this one. and also this is the interview i saw on youtube that started my curiosity on it.
i’ve also tried some past life regression meditation videos on youtube (honestly i’d love to go to one of his conventions or even just a person qualified in doing this) and i am someone who has a hard time with visualizations. but i was able to get through to two brief memories and then later on i found the part of my astrological chart that can give you information about what your past life karma is related to and the description in my birth chart made so much sense with what i saw in my regression meditation. it was fucking wild
anyway the whole purpose, of life, and being reborn over and over, according to Weiss’ interpretation of his experiences doing this work is -- we are meant to be loving.  that is our purpose. not just loving but unconditionally loving towards everyone. which obviously, i think anyone would agree, is difficult. but it’s why we keep coming back. we have to keep learning lessons, going through good and bad things, in order to elevate to the the highest soul vibration that we can be, a 100% unconditionally loving being.
see, that it something i can get behind. i’m okay living my life striving toward that incredibly difficult goal, that i probably won’t reach in however many years i have in this body because, it’s not easy, but it’s something i can try to do and continually work on.  that’s a life philosophy i can get behind.

I followed Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Brian Weiss, the Psychologist who became a hypnotherapist on past life regression therapies, and I decided to undergo past life regressions myself. What I later discovered is that New Yorkers, Chicagoans and other serial killers would modify our memories through computer hackings, phone hackings and through a secret, hidden, unknown, and unexposed radio system that emits very low volumes of misinformation to frame us into being identity theft victims convicted of crimes we never committed and as false witnesses to crimes. This is where Oprah Winfrey and “Doctor” Brian Weiss have failed repeatedly. The criminals would be pocket-picking women for jewelries in false memories being modified into our brains through technologies like the iPhones, iPads, Microsoft Windows computers, and Macbooks.

I’m sorry, this is probably like common knowledge for everyone else but,,,, how do I meditate for reincarnation memory recall?? I just,,, Ive tried meditating before but I never know what I’m supposed to do
I have written just a bit ago about the multiple routes in beginning your reincarnation journey here. If you have troubles relaxing during meditation, I have previously addressed the issue here.
I, myself, do have issues with meditation. I know there are many others who gain memories solely through meditating, or have no trouble with it, but I have never been that type. Self-guided meditation, for anything, is quite a difficult thing, and requires a lot of practice (I was allowed to pursue it after I was quite older during my days at the temple). You can search “Past Life Regression” on somewhere like YouTube, and there will be plenty of guided meditations. It’s different from a daily self meditation, as it’s very specific and can often be turbulent. I have read somewhere that the meditations led by Dr. Brian Weiss are excellent, as he spends his time training people to lead in-person regressive meditations and can even certify them.
I do not lead meditations, but should you need any second opinions, my PMs are open to help you through any difficulties. Please do let me know if anything can be expanded upon.

In this riveting exploration of the afterlife, psychologist Michael Newton shares insights from his work with patients under hypnosis. The book reveals detailed accounts of life between lives, offering a perspective on reincarnation, the purpose of existence, and the journey of the soul. Newton's case studies provide a fascinating glimpse into what might happen after we die, emphasizing the lessons we learn on Earth.
2. "Life After Life" by Raymond Moody
Raymond Moody's seminal work popularized the concept of near-death experiences (NDEs). Through compelling narratives of those who have encountered the threshold of death, Moody explores the profound transformations and insights people gain from their experiences. This book invites readers to ponder the eternal questions of life, death, and what lies beyond.
3. "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle**
Eckhart Tolle’s transformative guide delves into the significance of living in the present moment. Through awareness of our thoughts and the ego, Tolle teaches us how to achieve a deeper connection with ourselves and the universe. This book encourages personal growth and spiritual awakening by emphasizing mindfulness and presence, much like the therapeutic journey explored in Weiss's work.
4. "Many Lives, One Love: Past Life Therapy for Here and Now" by John C. Van Auken
In this book, John C. Van Auken combines past life regression with spiritual counseling, helping readers explore their past experiences and how they impact current life choices. The integration of personal stories and practical exercises makes this a valuable resource for those interested in understanding their spiritual journey and healing old wounds.
5. "The Celestine Prophecy" by James Redfield
This spiritual adventure novel weaves together insights of personal transformation and the exploration of spiritual awakening through the lens of discovery in a Peruvian jungle. Each insight reveals a deeper understanding of human relationships, intuition, and purpose. Redfield's narrative encourages readers to seek their own spiritual path and understand the synchronicities in their lives.
These books collectively offer a rich tapestry of insights into the nature of existence, consciousness, and the journey of the soul, making them great companions for anyone intrigued by the themes presented in "Many Lives, Many Masters."

Can Hypnotherapy Heal A Phobia From 4,000 Years Ago? Psychiatrist Dr. Brian Weiss Explains The Power Of Past Life Regression Therapy
Ivy League-trained psychiatrist Dr. Brian Weiss is an acclaimed psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, and the author of Many Lives. Many Masters.
And back in the 1980s, he took on a patient suffering from paralyzing fears and phobias.
Once she was under hypnosis, something mind-blowing happened… something that completely shocked Dr. Weiss too…
The patient regressed into past lives, as far back as 4,000 years!
And that’s not all...
The patient then started to channel personal details about Dr. Weiss’ life – including a message from his dead son and father!
(Oh, and after this session, her phobias began to disappear, too.)
Intrigued to discover more?
Check out this article by the Hypnosis Training Academy , to find out how Dr. Weiss went from skeptic, to a past-life regression therapy expert.

Tumblr media
Tumblr media
HYPNOTISM AND ZERO THOUGHT MIND
Read the full article

Some Notes from RW
Some Notes from RW
First published May 26, 2019 Hi All, I’m still working on the second half of the regression but I wanted to share the comments RW made on the previous post. “I just read your blog;  you captured the session beautifully.  I want to mention something else about the regression.  It’s a small thing but it is fascinating to me. When I was regressed to the opulent man and I was looking at my red robe,…
