That one scene in upgrade where he's trying to threaten Eli but every time he talks Eli revs the enguine on LKE and pretends he can't hear Blakk

Dana trash talking him while actively stealing his blaster (Blakk threw a table at her)

Will asking Blakk if he's "tired of getting beat" at the start of episode 1

The Goon asking Blakk "you honestly think I would listen to a monster such as yourself?" in ROTE

Honorable mention: Saturday saying he Isn't one of Blakk's minions right in front of him and then asking for more ghouls while not even bothering to fully turn to face Blakk or ask directly (only an honorable mention because while this likely pissed Blakk off slightly I dont think it was intentional ragebait)

You Know What I Like About Dr. Blakk?

That even with such a horrific and tragic backstory, he still had a choice, and he he ultimately made the worst one.

I like to think the mans last chance at being a descent person was his first defeat at Will Shane's hands as the Candidate Tournament, Will offered him his hand, to help him up, but Blakk didn't take it. And that solidified the kind of man he would eventually become.

Also, this man not only keeps surname of his fist abuser and become a wildly successful business man, but when he takes over Viggo Dare's gang he keeps the logo, and then transforms it from a simple gang id to an enterprise logo.

Like he could have rebranded, new name new, new logo. but he kept his name and the logo as the biggest middle finger ever and as a reminder.

bad dude, but gosh, he takes petty to a whole new level.

Raised by the Zane family, Slugterra Au Part 2

Meeting Eli Shane:

The first time the Zane family met Eli was when he was 7

Will was watching Eli at the Shane hideout(this was during the summer when Eli could go down to Slugterra, without any suspicions from the surface) when he got a distress signal from a nearby cavern asking for help.

Will didn’t want to leave Eli alone, so he contacted Koa and asked if Eli could stay with them until the mission was done.

Koa immediately said yes because 1. It was nice letting Will ask them for help and 2. The family wanted to meet Eli so badly.

After that, Will told Eli to pack a bag together in case he was staying overnight at the Zane house.  Both hopped on lucky and rode off to the Fortitude clan.

Eli was initially nervous, but excited to finally meet the Zane Family. He had heard so many tales from his dad and wanted to meet them.

When they reached the clan’s entrance, Koa, Kalila, and Kord waited for them.

Will then made the introductions: “Eli meet the Zane Family, Koa, Kalila, and their son Kord. Zane family, meet my son Eli.” Eli then waved and said, “Hi everyone.”

All the family could think of at the time was ‘He’s so tiny and cute.’

After making sure everything was good, Will Rode off, and Eli was brought into the clan to get a tour of the place.

Eli was amazed at how big the clan was and started to ask a million questions. “How big are those buildings? Are they safe for everyone? Where does all the electricity come from? No way is that an armadillo mecha beast? And ‘Gasp’ Is that a mammoth mecha beast?! So cool! Auntie, Uncle, Big Bro Can we see it, please?” 

After that, it was smooth sailing for both Eli and the Zane family

Before the Will disappeared:

It had now been about 4 years since Eli met the Zane family

Eli and Kord instantly became brothers and always hung out together whenever Eli visited the clan.

But if anybody(mainly outside the clan and most public areas) said something like, “You can’t be his brother; you're a human; he’s a cave troll,” it was either a punch in the face by Kord or a scratch/bite by Eli. 

This happened a lot when no one was keeping an eye on them.

And got both of them in trouble with the authorities because of this. Koa did find it funny seeing the bond the two shared. Kalila and Will did not.

It was during this time that Thaddius Blakk, known by his title Dr.Blakk, made his name known throughout Slugterra.

Will started hearing rumors about a new weapon that Dr.Blakk was creating and wanted to investigate it.

So Will tracks down where Blakk is and notices he isn’t too far from the Shane hideout.

Eli was with him of course, just relaxing on the couch watching TV.

So Will told Eli that he had to go on a small mission not too far from the hideout, but would be back by nightfall.

Eli was fine with that and said “Love you, Dad” and Will then said“Love you too son” 

That was the last time Eli saw his dad before he disappeared 

Later on that night, Koa was working in his garage when a call came in.

Seeing that it was Will he answered not looking up at the screen

“Hey, Will what’s up you hardly ever call this late.” “ Uncle Koa..” said a quiet voice.

Instantly Koa looked up from what he was working on and saw Eli and Burpy on the screen.

Sadness and shock were both on their faces. Something was wrong.

“Eli, what’s going on? Where’s your father? And why is Burpy with you?” Eli looked like he was about to cry and in a quiet voice said “Dad’s gone…”

Koa instantly stopped what he was doing asked Eli where he was and told him to stay exactly where he was. 

Koa then went to wake Kalila up( she had just gotten to bed when he came in)

He told her to contact the Elders and his brother, and he’ll explain everything later. Then rushed off to find Eli.

After Will Disappearance:

Later on, Koa came back to the clan with a tired Eli and a sad burpy. He noticed the Elders and his brother their waiting for him at the entrance. Kalila and Kord immediately rushed over to help and brought both Eli and Burpy inside. Koa then turned to make his announcement “ Will Shane has disappeared leaving Slugterra to who knows what evil is out there. We need to come up with a plan now.”

I was just thinking about this if you had rewritten Slugterra accession what would you do differently? Would you bring back Dr.Blakk as the main antagonist? Or would you bring in a new villain for the Shane gang to go up against? Let me know what you think.

Blakk would have a lasting effect, but he would not be the main antagonist. at least not for a while. cause i think this show could have been so loooooooong....id introduce blakk in like season 7 lol. honestly, slugterra has a rich tapestry of small compelling villains, with some being more important than others depending on their alliances. i'd bring back the old classics (saturday, cc, twist, maurice, blite, you name it) and also add new players - ones that grew undr blakk's shadow, ones that were released/escaped from prison for some reason, ones that hid to wait out blakk's plans and now finally feel ready to make their debut, or even some legendary evil ppl that in age have come to terrorize one cavern and, compacent, their terror hasn't been on wider slugterra's radar. and hell, it could be people killing, or controlling, but it could also be small stuff again, like a kid abusing slugs, or other implicited abusive stuff going on (cause kid show, but cmonnnn, its slugterra, they are so good at being like "yes ur honor this dude was mind controlled for 20 years and we simply let the audience look into the explicit behaviors that we animated for him afterwards" they could so do that w harsher subjects)

i would do...everything different. keep the gang together. have everyone - especially eli - grapple with the concept of how to move forward and make slugterra better - stopping those slug markets and whatnot - while also contending with their trust issues (and possible depression, in elis case) after tad. out with the universal slug or whatever, bring in wtf dana's been doing with the shadow walker - maybe shes been exploring shadow clan territory in the south and calls the shane gang when she finds new shane secrets/treasure. maybe his could be a segmented like a show - some episodes are the gang trying to fight crime but also help people out, supporting programs that make the world better, and the other half is involving a tense plotline with the shadow clan about uncovering the stuff dana found (maybe a secret passage to the back end of the deep caverns, in a cavern that's thin enough to where the shadow walker could just barely manage to take a traveler to the other side). In both plots, old and new characters get introduced and recontextualized in the absence of Blakk, especially Twist, who would probably come back in the context of "hey, why not help out the gang covertly into finding will and rescuing him so i can kill him or something!", getting more evil from his time and trauma w blakk but then as eli's hero worship of the shanes and will decays further it prompts him to come back to the good side?

That was a rant but yeah - came up w that on the fly. But I actally wrote a little of a story involving after ItS - one called "I'm sorry, I dont know what the moon looks like tonight", whose later scenes take place after ItS, and TEAL "To End A Legacy" (which is my first slgterra fanfic) where i continued the slugterra plot....in a really dark way...and IM GONNA FINISH IT 2025 IS THE YEAR I FINISH THINGS I SWEAR-

To the Stunters(old and new): Since Dr. Blakk is gone have you noticed anyone else trying to take Dr.Blakk’s place? And are you guys glad that Lia never met Dr.Blakk?

The New Stunters all nodded simultaneously, except Minotaur, who, while in the background, seemingly wouldn't even acknowledge the camera.

"Yep... "Drag started. "There's that Sir wackamo goin' around and currently trying to re-brand the almost dead empire currently on life support... Though it is working so far... Working quite well actually..."

Slasher let out a scoff, rolling his eyes as he then spoke up.

"You're seriously not thinking it's good, do you?... I mean, 'The new ideal world that shall merge the 'Burning World' and Slugterra together- Not only fixing but getting rid of aaaaaaall the problems from this current one'... How convincing..."

Drag glared and gritted his teeth.

"I NEVER SAID I AGREE WITH IT!... I just said it's doing well!"

Slasher rolled his eyes again as Moulton and W.B. glanced between the two. Moulton looking unfazed while W.B. looked concerned by the tension.

Moulton grabbed the camera a held it up so only W.B. and him were in view.

"Yeah that mad scientist guy is a bit too freakishly detached... But some people are actually believing it... Though the dude takes his smeet ol' time so it'll probably lose popularity and blow over."

W.B. nodded, his expression slightly more uncomfortable.

"Yeah he freaks everyone out. And whenever I ask my parents about him they go all quiet and weird..." W.B. shivered. "I just hate to think on what he really does behind his doors."

"Closed doors."

The camera was quickly snatched from Moulton, focusing on Drag again.

"Yeah, yeah, Doc dudes weird and Lia would maybe be fine if she met Dr. Blakk and she'd most likely be with the Shane gang as well..."

"Well, I say she's tough enough!"

"You say a lot of things, Moulton..."

Moulton glared.

"Com'on guys- Let's just end it hear."

"Yes. I need to preserve what's left of my hearing from this buffoon..."

"WHY YOU-"

"Be quiet!"

They all immediately straightened up.

"You've had you time to answer the question. Now get back to work..."

"Yes, Boss..."

And with that Drag switched the camera off.

Matt sets the camera down onto a rock, the frame now capturing the elven man. He still rocked the Blakk Industries uniform. "Oh right; some you don't know who I am exactly; I'm Matt! Dr Blakk's favourite goon! He and I go WAY back- back to when he was doing a massive hire after Will Shane like... tripped and died or something. Either way, I've been around messing with the Shane Gang. Bad things happen to them when they fight me! Someone said it about my luck or something... I dunno. But yeah- oh hey you guys happen to have a fish you can send?"

Quick Slugterra rant

So in the last movie [Into the Shadows] which we last saw of Slugterra,they gave us the character Tad Blakk aka Dr.Blakk's son

Which is a whole new plot twist throughout the story as we have no idea that Dr.Blakk even had a family this whole time,I suspect Dr.Blakk didn't want to mention he had one to Eli when he was in prison which is for the best cuz Eli probably wouldn't believe him if he did

Since Dr.Blakk is evil enough to mistreat slugs into ghouling them,I'd say he wants nothing to do with/neglected Tad in his life & he went through a nasty divorce with his wife before he ghouled himself.Also we never thought Dr.Blakk even have a love life since it wasn't his thing so this is a surprise

Question:How does Tad know abt Slugterra?

Pieper helped him find Slugterra & lead the way down with maps

Question:What is Tad's main goal?

Since Tad hated him so much to the point he wanted to get revenge on Dr.Blakk for ruining everything

He claims to despise him and yet acting like his Father abt the mistreatment to the slugs & ghouling them,even he said he is not his Father

The whole plan is to get revenge on Dr.Blakk but it's too late since he's in the Deep Cavern for a long time so Tad changed his plan into making his own army at the age of 13(Yes he is so young & can be naive)

He is nobody's junior,he is an individual who he can handle himself on his own

At the end of the movie,Tad & Piper landed in the Deep Cavern which they discontinued the show & left a huge cliffhanger to the lore

It is disappointing since we know nothing abt Tad & what his intention is,WHAT IS THIS LORE!!??

Managed some little slugterra doodles between work. Mostly of my oc Amelia but I love how they all turned out!

A little background on Amelia. She’s a great blaster smith and was a former apprentice to Red Hook. Unfortunately, she made a deal with Dr.Blakk to get some extra coin but Red Hook found out and essentially disowned her. She grew distant from most people after this but gets dragged into shenanigans once Eli and the Shane gang enter her life. I figure she tries and fixes the first blaster he gets even though she knows it’s garbage after they see Red Hook the first time.

She butts heads with Eli a lot and is always on the verge of loosing her mind whenever she has to fix his blaster for the thousandth time. Their dynamic is great and I can’t wait to make a proper ref sheet for her!🌟

Tad blakk in my style finally!

And will and blakk finally get another kid in their 50s.

My Slugterra AU has been here for a while, and it’s gone through some slight changes/moslty character change that I have been writing about, but if tad were to be in this AU, he’d be born wayyy later, causing him to be way younger than Eli, compared to canon.

Won’t rant much but tad would be born right after blakk and will settle down together in my Au, so when Eli is 17, tad is born, so he’s the baby of the family. 😭

Blakk's freaking weird to draw-

He's a bunch of rectangles piled on each other, and his face proportions are wild. Should have moved the eyes down more :/

I think my main issue is that I don't normally draw human men, lmao.

Anyway, I feel like after having been exposed to Dark Water for so long, he's gained some minor Dark Bane features. And we see this in his cannon design already.

Pale skin and slightly pointed ears. I played the pointed ear thing up a little because I like that being an indicator that Blakk isn't 100% human anymore. I also like to think he's got fangs and that the Dark Water also affected his eyes a little, hence the red dots in them.

Also, idk why, but I love the fact his eyes are naturally an olive green?

So many villains have, black, purple, brown/hazel red, red eyes, but Blakk's eyes being green, to me, hits home the fact that he really was just a man before bringing consumed by power. And just adds the level of, 'he physically dose not look human, but his eyes do' if that makes sense?

Raised by the Zane family, Slugterra Au Part 3

This will mostly cover the aftermath of Will’s disappearance, the plans, and introduce some new characters. So buckle up, people, let's go!

The Plan:

After a long night and later letting everyone get some sleep, the plan was in motion.

Well, two plans to be exact.

Plan A was to let Eli stay with the Zane Family until he was about 15 to take on the Shane mantle. 

Koa had learned this from Will before he disappeared, and was glad Eli didn’t have to start so early.

Also, Koa had learned that Jimmon Shane, Eli’s great-uncle, had passed away when Eli was about 8. No one knew where Eli’s mother was, so Will knew if something had happened to him, Eli would go to the Zane family for safekeeping.

Again, Koa was grateful for this. Who knows what could have happened if Eli had been alone with only Burpy as his companion?

Along with plan A, Eli would have the last name Zane, so if someone were to start looking for anything related to Will Shane, Eli would at least be safe from getting hurt/hunted down by who knows what.

Now for Plan B: Sabotaging Black Industries from the inside out and not getting caught.

During the time of making both plans, Burpy( who had decided to stay with Koa to work out the plans) had revealed who the person was responsible for Will’s disappearance. 

It was Dr.Blakk

Instantly, Koa yelled, “ I FLOOPIN KNEW IT!” and wanted to go kill the man for what he did.

Instantly, everyone was like “No!” Because 1. Koa would need proof that Dr.Blakk was there at the time of Will’s disapearance, and since no one spoke slug, there wasn’t anything that Koa could do. And 2. They didn’t want to lose a family member to Dr.Blakk, and Eli would feel guilty if something happened to Koa.

 Koa then, after, was like “Fine, but the moment I see his ugly face, he's dead.”

 So, who would be the one to go undercover and infiltrate Blakk Industries?

Well, it was not one, but two young cave trolls. 

Katrina and Kody, aka the Storm Twins

Backstory:

The two were found as infants at an orphanage near Chillboren cavern. No one knew where they came from, who their parents were, or how they got there in the first place. (Still a mystery to this day.)

 Through most of their childhood, the two were known for getting into trouble with the authorities and doing crazy stunts (anything you can think of, they did it ten times worse). Katrina was known for her thieving skills and would steal anything that she could get her hands on. Kody was the quiet one, but had the strength of 10 men(even at the age of 10, he could go toe to toe with anyone twice his size) 

No one could control the two young cave trolls, and later on, they were dubbed the Storm twins because of how chaotic it could get with those two. At the age of 19, the two thought of something they had never done: steal from the famous Judge Logan(who was known to be rich and have a lot of rare items that thieves had been trying to get their hands on). 

It goes as you expected. 

Afterwards, it looked like they were about to be sent off to Stalegmint 17 for all the crimes they committed, but that all changed when Will Shane came in and stopped this from happening. 

He had heard the Stories about the twins and felt bad that no one was giving them a chance to have a good life, and Will also thought of Eli and what would have happened if something like this had happened to him.

He had learn of the trial's date and decided to go and confront the Judge.

Will also brought Koa with him to help ease the twins into letting them stay within Koa’s clan.

Everyone was shocked when Will( along with Koa) entered the courtroom.

During the time of the trial, it was mostly yelling back and forth from both the Judge and Will, meanwhile, Koa was telling the twins not to worry, and they got this. 

Afterwards, Judge Logan finally had enough and just told Will to take the twins and get out of his court before he changes his mind.

Though he did leave a warning for Will, “ Don’t think about getting in my way again, Shane, or else.” “ Or else what, Judge Logan?” “ Or else this place will be the last thing you see before rotting in a jail cell.”

After that whole fiasco, both twins were brought into Koa’s clan and stayed with Kayden ( He volunteered to keep an eye on them and teach them anything that they didn’t learn when they were younger).

It took a while for the twins to warm up to everyone, but eventually, the twins were happy that they finally got a home and a new family along with it. 

Now, back to plan B:

The plan was to have the twins go into Blakk Industries, get a position that lets them see what crazy stuff Dr.Blakk was doing, and then send any info back to the clan without anyone getting suspicious.

 Though it was risky, the twins wanted to do this because if it weren’t for Will giving them a second chance, the twins would be rotting in a jail cell forever. 

And they, too, wanted to kill Dr.Blakk for what he did to Will. 

Also, they felt awful that Eli lost his dad, but glad the Zane family came in and saved him.

So with everything in motion, everyone got to work on getting ready for the mission.

Koa prayed to his ancestors that this mission would go well, no matter how long it took.

Meanwhile, Kalila and Kord were keeping an eye on Eli, making sure he was okay and eating something.

Though it would be a while before Eli was back to being himself.

And that is it, people, sorry if it's long, but I wanted to write down as much as I could for part 3. And Part 4 will be about Eli’s recovery. So stay tuned.
