Howdy! It’s been a while, I’ve mainly been practicing art a lot as well as having been in the process of moving but I’m back now with a fusion of characters!

Meet forbearance! A fusion between dream and error. I’ll explain more how I created this character but I do want to show y’all an art piece I’m actually proud of, rather than this honestly mediocre reference I made yesterday quickly when figuring out a design.

(If you can’t tell, I’m extremely proud of this piece since I miraculously actually made something I think looks nice)

Anyway! Onto the character and design of forbearance. I chose lots of flowy clothes since I feel like that’s a good mixture of both dream and error’s styles, with error having more long and hanging clothes and dream being the flowy part! I feel like a combination of that would be good so as you can see I chose a large scarf, shawl, and other baggy clothing with visible stitching. Of course I had to add jewelry so I did a few pins and then added a head ornament/crown since I didn’t want to straight up copy dream’s crown and I feel like the strings holding the necklace together fits very well with error as well. I did some colored bones on the finger like error san but also did a gray skull as to mix with the black of error’s skull and the white of dream’s skull. As for the weapon, I did something similar to a kusarigama but changed up the design a tad to have a blade on both ends of the chain. I chose this since chains are a similar weapon enough to error’s strings and some knives just so there would be something sharp like dream’s arrows.

Why did I choose the name forbearence? Well I originally wanted to go with mercy, the name being more similar to dream but that name just reminds me of the song that got popular on tik tok so I got a synonym for it instead! Forbearence means “patient self-control; restraint and tolerance” which I thought would be fitting for a guardian of the multiverse. The reason I wanted to make a fusion was just for the color scheme. I adore deep blues and yellows together!

I haven’t really decided on much of a backstory for forbearence but I’ve kinda decided on a personality!

Forbesrence is quiet, perfecting to spend time by himself, watching others through portals or exploring areas where the chances of meeting others are low. He will usually visit a universe during the day since he has Siderophobia which limits when he can really explore.

Despite being a multiverse guardian, forbearence does not actually care about the aus or anyone for that matter. The only reason he actually protects the multiverse is because the positive energy makes him feel stronger and happier himself. Now, this doesn’t mean he hates everyone. He doesn’t particularly mind, he just tolerates others around him. He’s not actually interested in what they have to say.

Forbearence is actually quite snotty if you actually get to know him. He thinks his opinions and ideas are always the best, looking down on others and never accepting help for he deems others as useless and destructive towards his ideals. Luckily though, he’s always honest about these things... for better or for worse really. He won’t talk about you behind your back but rather tell it to your face what he thinks of you. He never really seems to lie.

In a fight he’s extremely analytical. He always observed what’s going on and makes a plan before jumping into action. When fighting however, he’s determined to win.

His attacks include:

-strings

-bones

-gaster blasters

-his weapon

-telekinesis

With other abilties being

-portal opening

-teleportation

-and code reading

And now for the little bit of backstory I have plus some miscellaneous information!

Forbearence originally was an outertale sans before a major astronomical event occurred, wiping out the universe and kicking the sans out of his destroyed universe before he died, leading for him to become an error in the Antivoid he was stuck in. From here I don’t know exactly how he gained those positivity abilties, I still have to think over that. Maybe a creator gave him a golden apple? I’ll figure it out eventually! Because of the astronomical event though, forbearence became afraid whenever he saw stars for no reason he knew since he lost his memories after becoming an error.

Despite being an error though, forbearence only glitches when he’s afraid, really injured, embarrassed, or extremely confused. Since he lost his memories as well, he didn’t exactly get too socialized, being in the anti void and all, causing him to not know how to act around others leading to his snotty behavior.

That’s all I have for now! I may make updates on this character in the future but I don’t know what I’m going to do with him! Also if you read for this long, have a cookie! :3 🍪 I love y’all! 💖💖💖

I had an interesting thought.

So we have a Dream!Ink and a Nightmare!Error, (the fusions) but what if you tried making a Error!Dream and a Ink!Nightmare?

Like a Dream that got errorified and some sort of… creative Nightmare made out of paint instead of negativity goop? I dunno.

So i haven't really slept yet and it's now 10 in the morning. I may have misread your ask and thought you meant a switch-a-roo of Coinkydink and Eiron and so Nightmare!Ink and Dream!Error existed

So now im thinking what the fuck am i supposed to do with these characters XD

I just remembered something about Error, and now I’ve gotta ask…

Does DRem or either of the Error fusions have more than one tongue?

For Eiron and Eirene, they occupied an Error's body and so adapted all those features

But for Drem, he's just Dream errorfied and i personally don't think the multi-tongue's a necessary thing to grow on every errors. I like to think each errorfied characters gets unique eldritch trait that isnt just tongues.

I headcanon that these features came to exist the same way their personalities are influenced by the last thing that was on their mind before errorfying, perhaps error was remembering the time he as sans was watching some tentacle hentai with alphys hence the tongues idk lol

And the untouchables would be PaperJam(i know i dont own him but he's considered a fusion here) PaperCut, Eiron, and Discord

So the two Ink fusions get along, but what about the Errors? How do they feel about each other?

There's two possibilities

Trust or

Not trust

Eirene's not very much reactive since he's still underdeveloped so cant get a proper reaction other than calm from him yet

Nightmare!ink and Dream!error now have names

Eirene( i know it's a goddess name)

And Dionysus(or just Dion)

I want them to project tranquil/trouble, order/ordeal, calm/chaos instead of just positive/negative.

And idk why an error/dream fusion gives me peace vibe like dream neutralizes error or smth like that

But a nightmare/ink gives off chaos. Negativity and creativity doesnt go well as they say.
