Art block is finally over. Have these companion pieces that spawned when I thought about Drifter and Hunter parallels (I might have to post about that more later I’m cooking). I’m actually pretty happy with these and tried somthing new for beheaded’s design!

Also here’s a sketch because I couldn’t help but think about how Beheaded would have to deal with both of his sick cats being on such borrowed time and wanted to make a bit of a joke about it I guess?

I dunno I’m just glad to be able to create again.

¿Tenía la duda de si has tenido la motivación de escribir fanfics oh aus de ellos dos, oh sí tienes alguna recomendación de fanfics de el ship?, intenté buscar en todo ao3 pero no encontré más de 3 fanfics y se me hizo raro puesto que el ship es algo antiguo. Woah, another Driftcells oneshot be upon you! This time more sweet and less full or fear or grief than the other two writings I’ve posted for this fandom so far :)

Summary

Friendly and kind physical contact is far from guaranteed to be something Blu outside of the North can find. It’s also not something freely given to Drifters or the afflicted. Even the most optimistic cant expect much of it if they are any of those things, let alone all of them like Drifter is.

Not that he minded. Even when outside of his universe with people more than willing to express themselves that way, they didn’t really like it.

But something must have changed because now they really, really yearn for it- no, they are starving for it.

Unfortunately their partner is too busy learning to and then sticking with ‘respecting their boundaries’ to just pull him into a hug. More fortunately, Drifter doesn’t really see Beheaded rejecting him entirely if they are the one to initiate.

He doesn't.

Summary:

The Beheaded wakes up to find the small place he’s found home to be strangely still. He’s on edge but not really worried until he finds a note from his missing partner that all but spells out that he needs to find them fast if he ever wants to see him again. He quickly decides to check the town center because he has reason to think that it’s connected to the fate Drifter was shown (and that Drifter has said he’s finally going to meet).

He really just hopes he makes it in time.

Meanwhile Drifter is certain that he won’t ever wake up again. He’s wrong.

Aka- these two still are in my brain! I wrote most of this weeks ago but decided to finally just post it as a birthday present to myself. As of now the first chapter is done, the second just needs reread and the third (and final planned) is about half way done. So hopefully not too much waiting for this one :)

Third and final chapter of this thing is ready :)

Drifter may have left to fight Judgment certain that they would die but Beheaded DID get there in time and now we get a hopeful ending and hurt/comfort :)

Holy crap, i totally forgot to mention. While i was drawing that driftercells comic this song appeared on my playlist..

Basically the lyrics that stuck was..
