It was 3:14AM and something in the universe had shifted—probably for the worse. You were barely awake, eating dry cereal out of a mug and wearing the same hoodie you'd been living in for three days. George had randomly messaged the group chat “wanna stream DSMP?” with no context, and like three gremlins crawling out of their caves, you and Quackity joined instantly. Regrets? Absolutely. But that wasn’t going to stop you.

You spawned in near L’Manberg and immediately got hit by a fish.

“WHY DID YOU SPAWN CAMP ME?” you screamed.

“It was funny,” said George, monotone, holding a raw cod like it was a weapon of mass destruction.

“YOU’RE BRITISH, YOU DON’T GET TO DECIDE WHAT’S FUNNY.”

“Guys,” Quackity whispered ominously through his mic. “I’m in Tommy’s house. I’ve put 63 chickens in here. He’s going to shit himself.”

“What the hell are we doing?” you asked, laughing so hard your Minecraft froze for a second. “This isn’t even our server.”

“Okay, but hear me out,” George said, “what if we blew up L’Manberg.”

“You’re literally a citizen,” you said.

“Not anymore.”

You blinked. “What do you mean, ‘not anymore’?”

Quackity shrieked with laughter. “HE HAS TNT. WHY DOES HE HAVE TNT?!”

“I logged on earlier and stole it from Fundy,” George muttered.

You didn’t even question it.

You chased George around the server yelling in rapid Spanish while the Twitch chat lost its mind, Quackity was still silently placing chickens like it was his life mission, and George was setting up weird traps in front of Wilbur’s old button room.

“Guys I’m putting lava in Philza’s house,” Quackity said casually.

“What’s wrong with you?!”

“Why does Philza need a house anyway? He’s like. Old. Old people don’t even live in houses.”

“YOU CAN’T JUST—”

Your sentence was cut off by George screaming “I HAVE A FLINT AND STEEL” in the exact tone of someone who should not have a flint and steel. Something exploded in the distance.

“GEORGE. WHAT DID YOU JUST BLOW UP.”

“Nothing important.”

“Define nothing.”

“Part of Niki’s bakery.”

“YOU—”

Quackity was now fully invisible, spamming creepers into Eret’s castle using some plugin command he definitely shouldn’t have had access to.

“I AM GOD,” he yelled, and then immediately blew himself up.

“Good,” you muttered. “Stay dead.”

George tried to push you into the crater he made, but you water bucket-clutched it like an absolute pro and immediately threw an ender pearl into his face. You didn’t even care that it teleported you directly into a lava pit.

“I REGRET NOTHING,” you screamed as you burned to death.

“Chat,” George said calmly, “she’s lost it.”

“You set my spawn in a hole with a pressure plate and TNT,” you said. “You’re going to meet God tonight.”

The three of you ended up in the middle of the server sitting on a pile of scaffolding, surrounded by phantoms, talking about capitalism.

“I feel like Dream’s entire lore arc was just trickle-down economics,” you mumbled.

“I think Sapnap is a libertarian,” George added.

“I think I just ate a pufferfish by accident,” said Quackity.

A beat of silence.

“Didn’t you major in law?”

“Yes,” he whispered. “Yes, I did.”

“Guys,” Quackity said suddenly, “I made a flag.”

“What kind of flag?” you asked.

“An Argentinian flag. For you.”

You teared up a little. “That’s actually so sweet.”

“Wait.” He paused. “Wait wait wait—no. No. This is—this is Italian. I made the Italian flag. I messed up the order. I—this is humiliating.”

George lost it. “HE MADE YOU THE WRONG COUNTRY.”

“I WAS TRYING TO HONOR YOU,” Quackity wailed.

“WITH PASTA COLORS?!”

By the time the sun rose in-game, you had no memory of what you’d actually done. Someone’s base was definitely missing. George was somehow wearing Technoblade’s armor set, and Quackity had tamed a fox and named it “Tubbo 2” like it was a replacement child.

“Do not tell anyone about tonight,” George said flatly.

“I’m posting the whole VOD,” you replied immediately.

Quackity cleared his throat. “So. Same time tomorrow?”

You stared at the chaos on your screen—floating blocks, a waterfall made of lava, a sign that just said “SUCK EGGS WILBUR”—and smiled like an idiot.

But we don't know each other well enough for you to speak to me this way 👍 it's exceptionally rude and honestly a bit off-putting to act like me going "damn, this corporation that has constantly sent me playlists titled 'k-pop core', 'animecore', 'spanishcore', and shit like 'dsmpcore'(?????) has sent me a new playlist called queercore. They probably made this shit up to be 'quirky' and 'hip' again like every other time. I understand your frustration that I didn't know this was a genuine musical genre and not something Spotify came up with in an attempt to be cute. I get it, I've been there, I've had people assume stuff that I KNEW WAS REAL was made up by people I hated. But this REALLY isn't the tone that you should be taking with strangers online. It's rude and off putting and completely unwarranted.
