More of the Pork & Shrimp Dumpling Noodles (水饺面) from Choo Chiang Roasted Meat Noodle House (珠江烧腊面家). Mum will always request to add two more dumplings to the bowl of dry style thin yellow noodles with a scoop of the umami sambal chilli paste. I moved all the dumplings out of the way onto the plastic cover of the bowl so I can mix the brown sauce and chilli with the noodles evenly. Also, in with the noodles are choy sum (Brassica rapa var. parachinensis) and pieces of fried pork lard which served to enhance flavour and add a satisfying, savoury crunch and richness to the dish.

Compare this bowl of Pork & Shrimp Dumplings Noodles (水饺面) with the previous purchases. Choo Chiang Roasted Meat Noodle House (珠江烧腊面家) has been sending their dumpling for slimming exercise so they are now flat and flappy looking. The filling is getting lesser and yet the wanton wrapper remained the same size thus you get the excess skin around one side of the dumpling. It is getting so bad that I asked mum to buy this only when I have a craving.

I made a tumblr for the sole purpose to post/share this little fanart of @lovelyelbowleech ‘s fic War Games! I drew Zuko and Sokka on Dumpling —not any specific moment, but I did draw zuko with season 3 length hair and with earth kingdom clothing, and sokka with his wolf tail and his usual water tribe clothes

It’s definitely not the best fanart out there, but it’s the first fanart I’ve drawn of zukka and Alta overall, and I’m quite proud of it :) The All’s Fair series are the first Atla/Zukka fic I’ve read and goddamn, it’s amazing, and I’m loving it, I’ve never read a fic over 200k words before, and I’m surprised I’ve gotten through it, and I can’t wait for the rest of the fic!
