top 3 scenes in Lawrence of Arabia?

Every single scene in the film..? LOL at first I was like, yeah of course I can narrow it down to three! And then I started looking thru the scenes like....fuck. I'll try my best! My favorite scenes are always gonna be the really peak cinematic ones, like where it's more focused on the environment and the beauty of the shot itself. I love the narrative, but the cinematography is obviously where the movie really shines, where you're sitting there in absolute awe (Ask me sleepover questions!!)

1. Sunset after Aqaba

Obviously for the cinematography, but I also love the conversation between him and Ali, its so sweet! The colors of the sunset are so incredibly gorgeous, it's just so stunning, I mean there's a reason why it's my header rn

2. Post-Rescue of Gasim

GOD how did they make the contrast of just blue and white so BEAUTIFUL!?!?!?!?! Not included but I love the part in this scene too where he makes it back to the camp, and the crowd parts for Ali to come bring him water, the way Ali looks at him is sooooooo !!

3. The train siege, but that part where he struts along the top

Also the part where he struts down the sand dune at his own pace while everyone around him is running. But yeah this part specifically made me gasp. All of the contrast in this movie is just so incredibly beautiful and well done

𝐹𝑅𝐼𝑇𝐻 is an original character based on original lore, which is in turn very roughly based off selkie / siren / banshee / harpy / ningyo lore. additionally inspired by still wakes the deep + eldritch horrors + personifications of death . . . this is a somewhat experimental, conceptual character blog; namely theming around GRIEF, ESTRANGEMENT, DIASPORA, GENDER DYSPHORIA, and THE SINS OF THE GRANDFATHER. . . . activity will be extremely slow & highly selective.

carrd | rules

i. tldr don't steal graphics, be an active rp partner, don't be mean. i love to plot, and ishaq's an experimentally versatile character so he can go in many different directions. half-human, half-entity, chosen destiny yada yada. ishaq is harder to interact with than kenneth @boypreachr is. there is not an easy way to insert him into a situation with every muse, and for these reasons, responses (esp to ask prompts) will be selective. plotting with me can help this selectivity.

ii. i do not claim ownership over all of my psds. the noise effect is from ohisms(?), and the base is an extremely edited version of fossaed's ancient psds + my own psds + landscape. header graphic shapes are inspired by girlfox and phys1cian. audio is edited by me but uses this clipped audio from who is she, monster.

iii. STATS. faceclaims: harry collet in season 2 of h0td, t chalamet in the caladan sections of DUNE PT1, p from lies of p the game. 5'11. ishaq (he/they) is a man of dubious gender roughly in his late teens to mid twenties.

+ he initially appears to be a very normal, IF strangely beautiful androgynous person. ishaq has grown up with nothing except a PERSISTENT LONGING for the water, but with no gills or strength to not drown in it. HIS BODY IS SHAMEFULLY HUMAN. THE CALL OF THE VOID WILL KILL HIM, TOO. he is capable of holding normal conversations, dressed in warm and dark clothes, perpetually staring out into nothing and speaking in half-forgotten, musical notes. a strange, half-ethereal man, ishaq's presence tends to herald death — when he beckons to you with an SWEET, PAINED SMILE.... be wary for what the future holds.

Dune [Part 1(2021)

I felt like doing a double-header with Dune. Watching the first part doesn't feel like a complete experience without seeing Part 2 , which should have been the case for IT, but that was a major clusterfuck of a sequel that it destroyed any notion that it was simply a natural transition of one movie into two parts.

Now Dune, that is a completely different story. The direction of Denis Villeneuve was just masteful. Going into this movie I couldn't help but compare it to David Lynch's Dune, which to me is more entertaining and definitely more memorable. This one is handled so well in such a different way. The flaws come in the overly satuared details, making some parts feels aganizingly long. And the choice of Jason Mamoa and Timothee Chalamet.

And heavy bias in favor of David Lynch's Dune just made me naturally not like this as much. And the ending of Part 2 massively frustrated me. Needless to say, I have a feeling every book in the Dune series will be adapted.

Things like the Baron's character becoming more minuscule bothered me. Watering down characters when you're making a movie that's over five hours long seems mind boggling. Getting Christopher Walken to play the Empereror only to get him to underact is such a shame but also makes sense if you want to make a very serious version of Dune.

And people seem to forget this is the Second remake of Dune. My thoughts on the first, a television made for tv movie will be coming soon and maybe even my thoughts on the book. Watching these two movies has intrigued me to read at least the first novel.

Heavily recommend this.

Either they just want clicks and they know Zendaya SELLS (she's the hottest female actress under 30 right now), or they might know smthg we don't know. 👀

I haven't even seen leaks that she's even been INVITED this year though. I would think an outlet would want that news to get out just so ppl watch with the HOPES of seeing her. Ykwim? 🤔

I'm not getting my hopes up at all....

But if there ever was a year for her to go to the Met, I think THIS would be the year to do it, because she has two films ("Challengers" and "Dune Part 2") coming out this year, and it could really generate great buzz for her if she attended the Met. 😊

In fact, if the entire Dune cast was there at the Met this year and got interviewed together on the red carpet, that would be HUGE! 😁

Florence is already going, but that's the only Dune cast member that I know of that has been 100% confirmed as going. 🤷🏾‍♀️
