with your new graphics for vivienne, jaegor, and rhaerion, do you think you could give us some extra info on them? even if its just random fun facts im kinda obsessed with the dynamic there!!

hi there! thanks so much for your interest in my babies! i gave a little bit of insight on their respective relationships here. however, i will list a few other random details about them below:

similarly to daemon, jaegor was the town whore prior to falling for vivienne.

vivienne initially had a childhood crush on jaegor upon watching him at a tourney. rhaenyra and alicent teased her immensely over this.

rhaerion rarely showed interest in the prospect of marriage prior to him wanting to take vivienne for himself.

in spite of rhaerion arguably being a psycho, jaegor's public image is worse due to him both being a bastard and daemon's top supporter

vivenne was originally going to be a daemon ship but the more things played out the more i thought she should be parried with my other two ocs

one detail all three of them share is that they are probably the "least favorite child" to their respective parents

jaegor and rhaerion are both short tempered, but the former has a heart of gold deep down.

one of the biggest obstacles standing between jaegor and vivienne is their respective affiliations with their families (jaegor with daemon and rhaenyra vs vivienne with alicent and her children). had it not been for this, i think it would've been harder or rhaerion to step in.

while it is clear that vivienne eventually runs off with jaegor willingly, they attempt to frame him for abducting and manipulating her to be with him even though that is exactly what rhaerion ultimately does

rhaerion often clashed with his other targaryen relatives over his twisted nature

all of them meet tragic fates in one way or another 👀

Which of your ships is your favorite?

omg great question! to be honest, i don't think i have an all-time favorite ship that dethrones all of the rest. however, at the moment my favorite is a tie between jaegor + vivienne and torvi + aemond. both are hotd ships that own my heart.

also i’ve been secretly obsessed with jaegor and vivienne so may i please have more info on them 🥺🫶🏻

aww omg! i appreciate your interest in my babies. i actually covered some of the more major aspects of their relationship here and here. nevertheless, i will drop a few/random facts i have on them below:

they are the epitome of star-crossed lovers. they grow to love each other immensely but for many external reasons, cannot seem to be together in the long run. these two give romeo and juliet a run for their money ok

while i like to call them a slow burn due to how long it took for them to act upon their feelings for one another (and because of vivienne’s childhood crush on jaegor), their love was a flame that was forced to burn out quickly. although they don’t get together as quickly as perhaps one would hope, their relationship progresses speedily. 

while rhaerion is by far jaegor’s biggest rival for vivienne’s hand, he was not the only one vying for her affections at the time as she was considered the most comely young woman of her time (and even in all of history to some). in fact, it was rumored 

jaegor and vivienne are each other’s first and only true love

the odds were never in the favor of their union (it just took them a while to realize it)

if you think that i based their characters off of the one’s their respective fcs played in medici then you would be 1000% correct lol

even though these two do go official at some point, it is quite short lived (mainly thanks to rhaerion’s ass)

they were both originally meant to be killed for ‘treason’ early on but i opted out of it

while i have played around with the ages and timeline a lot, i have settled with the fact that jaegor is in his late teens to early twenties when he is first introduced whereas vivienne is somewhere between ten and fourteen 

they are my most fleshed out hotd oc relationship thus far

ooh okay can you tell me the differences in vivienne's relationship with jaegor vs her marriage to rhaerion?

omg great question! i would say the biggest difference would be the sincerity of the relationships. one was love and the other was obsession. 

with jaegor it was very much a slow burn that unraveled into an epic love story. it was all very genuine and driven by love. jaegor was always very patient with vivienne and waited until she was ready to return his feelings for real. vivienne had a crush on him from her youth but it took quite some time until she was ready to act on it. jaegor wasn’t exactly known for his patience but held back for her out of love and respect for vivienne. she became his bride in all but name as they were awaiting the blessing from her family. vivienne escaped to jaegor’s side due to them not being able to bear being away from each other. hence, the two of them suffered immensely upon not being able to actually be together (let’s all thank rhaerion for that lmao). 

with regards to vivienne’s relationship with rhaerion i think it’s safe to say it was kind of toxic? while rhaerion claimed to have fallen for her at first sight, it wasn’t genuine love. rhaerion was obsessed with the idea of having someone like vivienne as his bride (she was gentle, much younger, highly sought after, valued by the people of court, etc.). more than anything, i think he was obsessed with being able to have someone that no one else could (ie the bragging rights and status bump). he was also driven by the jealousy he had towards his cousins daemon and jaegor and how women practically flocked to them. even though he claimed to have only acted out of love and the need to protect his beloved, he literally abducted vivienne from jaegor’s side when he couldn’t handle the fact that she had chosen a bastard over him. he also betrayed his sister’s stance by rhaenyra and joined the queen’s party just to make her relatives bless their union. vivienne had no choice in the matter and was even made to believe jaegor was dead so that she would be urged to give rhaerion a genuine chance. nevertheless, rhaerion never abused her per se in the literal sense of the word. on the contrary he acted as a doting husband and tried to buy her affections. however, it was arguably not genuine.
