why are there are still people openly supporting perma paywall creators and content thieves in the year of 2025...
why are we charging 10$ for an EA mesh edit... why are we locking RECOLORS behind a paywall? and yes, no one is entitled to the content you make. but the least you can do is not lie about it and/or permanently monetize content that is based off of others' work. the ea paywall debate happened a while ago, but it's still scummy to say "public after 2 weeks" and keep the content locked for half a year or more.
please do not enable this behavior. there's plenty of free and early access cc of AMAZING quality on tumblr that you can download. let's not support perma paywallers or creators that host their cc on scummy sites that are known for theft... (s**finds)

my take on the early access situation
I'm probably going to get shit on for this, but here's my take on the situation with EA.
I never understood how people in the sims community will throw their money at creators who blatantly lie to them, threaten people on the internet, steal, and profit off of stolen work. To you all who released your content on time for free as you said you would, thank you. But I've heard someone else say that early access Patreon creators are just as much to blame, and I can't help but agree. Early access creators constantly test the waters with how much they can get away with, and it shows. First, it's a week, then two. A month, then two. Then a year, and everything else going forward stays locked because they want the money from people who are tired of waiting. And knowing this, people who pay for "early" or paywalled cc are enabling this. The fact that some of yall will pay $5-$10 USD A MONTH to get a skirt or a hair for a game is wild, especially with the history of some of these creators. (stealing, doxxing, death threats, etc.) I'm glad EA is finally cracking down on this shit because I know this would just get worse going forward. Do better, sims community. And before you say, "but liv! they work hard on their cc and deserve something!" If you really care about supporting creators, donate to their KoFi's Gn.
