Buck pulled his truck up outside the house, grinning a little as he climbed out of the car and went about to get all the bags. It was kind of nice to just be able to enjoy a bit of domestic life with Eddie, to just have a tiny list of daily chores they both had to do like any other couple. He grabbed the set of bags from the truck and headed inside, barely putting the bags down as he unlocked the door and headed in “Babe, I’m home!” he exclaimed as he walked through the house towards the kitchen, reaching up to put the groceries on the little kitchen island “I swear the line was insane, the woman in front of me was paying in pennies and… and there’s something I’m missing here” he said when he spotted that Eddie was sitting on the floor with a bucket nearby. He tilted his head and walked over to Eddie, reaching down to run his hand over the man’s head “OK so guessing the leak situation has escalated, how bad do you think the damage is?” he asked with a kind look in his eyes to the other man “Is it call a professional bad or is it a get my toolkit and hope for the best bad, what level of bad are we working with?”

Eddie grunted as he gave the knob under the kitchen sink another turn. He was alone in the house at that time, with Buck going out to get groceries, and Chris at Aunt Peppa's house, although he was to return later that afternoon. But a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink had him buried head first to try and fix that before his favorite people came back home, but it was showing to be a hard work. Suddenly, he heard a repeating 'tap' sound and as he looked up, he discovered yet another leak, this one coming from the ceiling. The rain from the night before had obviously left some pooled water on the roof, which was now leaking through the ceiling to the kitchen floor. "Damn it!" he cursed, then quickly grabbed a bucket and put it under the falling drops of water. He sighed and sat back on the floor, aimlessly looking at the spot on the ceiling where the drops were falling from.
