Be it birthdays in college canteen or big ceremonies, egg devil has always been a star dish in every occasion. Want to try it too? Don't worry we have shared the recipe. Head to the kitchen and enjoy this lip smacking snack today. * Follow @gastronomical.delight * Ingredients: 3 boiled egg slit into halves Boiled potatoes : 3-4 Green chillies : 2 finely chopped Turmeric powder : 1 tsp Red chilli powder : 1 tsp Roasted cumin and coriander seeds powder : 2 tsp 1 large onion finely chopped Ginger garlic paste : 1 tbs Cornflour Bread crumbs 1 raw egg beaten Salt Coriander leaves Vegetable oil Method: 1. Mash the boiled potatoes and add salt, roasted cumin and coriander seeds powder and green chillies. Mix well and keep it aside. 2. In a pan heat 2-3 tbs oil and add chopped onions 3. Once the onions turn golden add ginger garlic paste and stir till the raw small of the paste goes away. 4. Add turmeric and Red chilli powder and saute. 5. Add the mashed potatoes and mix well on low flame for around 5 minutes. 6. Turn off the flame and add the chopped coriander leaves. Let the potatoes cool down completely. 7. Take an egg in your palm and wrap it completely with the potatoes mixture. 8. Give it an oval shape by gently pressing within your palm 9. Similarly cover all the remaining eggs and keep them aside. 10. In one bowl add some water to cornflour to make some cornflour starch. 11. In another bowl beat a raw egg with some salt and pepper 12. Now take a egg ball and dip it in cornstarch with one hand , take it out and cover the coated egg with breadcrumbs with the other hand. 13. Now dip this coated egg in the beaten egg with one hand , take it out and cover it with breadcrumbs again with the other hand. Similarly coat the remaining eggs and keep them aside 14. Heat oil in deep kadhai. Turn flame to medium low once the oil is hot and gently fry the coated eggs in batches. Reposted from @servings.of.flavours . . For the first time tried making some Egg Chops/Dimer Chop for my evening cravings....😋😋😋 And trust me it was delicious...😍 . . Recipe 📝 _______________ Stuffing Preparation: ✔Boil 3 large size potatoes & eggs as per requirement. ✔Peel off the potatoes & mash them add salt and mix them well. ✔Add oil in a pan to it add finely chopped onion(1 small size), green chillies & then add the mashed potatoes and to it 1/2tbspn coriander powder, 1/2tbspn cumin powder & 1/2tbspn red chilli powder and salt if required and mix them well & fry for 3 to 4 mins and allow it to cool. Batter: ✔In a bowl mix 2 cups of gram flour(besan) add water to it & a pinch of salt & red chilli powder and mix it well, make a smooth batter. Deep fry: ✔Now peel off the boiled eggs and cut it into halves. ✔Now heat the oil in a pan on a medium low flame. ✔Coat the eggs with the stuffing & dip the eggs in the batter & fry it in the oil for 3 to 4 mins till it gets a golden brown colour.
