And honestly the bomb thing is not that bad. (Aside from her being a child but also we do have to remember she is an outlier and so she's already been in so much more fight than any one else her age anyway. Actually might teach her the ability to calm her nerves. Which will help so much with her quirk and learning. So keep that for more. )

May I ask you a fluff hc/scenario with amajiki and his s/o hanging out with Eiri like a family. It can be a festival, out wherever ya wabt. Thx

Even months after Eri was saved, it was obvious that she was having trouble adjusting to everything and was still quite nervous about everything, even though she was happy

Tamaki saw this whenever he saw her, and felt bad for her and wanted to help

So he brought his concern to you and asked if you would be fine with doing something where you could all hang out together to hopefully help eri get more used to people

Of course you agreed, and you found that there was a carnival in a small city a couple hours away that you could take her to that weekend when you werent in school

You were worried that it might be too many people but you asked Eri, and after you told her that you and Tamaki would be right there with her the whole time and that carnivals were always a lot of fun and all that

So she was intrigued and agreed to go

She was kinda scared of the people there and clung to you two, but Tamaki made her feel better by carrying her on his shoulders or back

It was so nice to see her so happy though, Tamaki bought you all cotton candy and you’ve never seen someone’s face light up as brightly as Eri’s did when she took the first bite

And she got to play all the little games, where you and Tamaki would help her  - and at some point she won a big stuffed cat

By the end of the day, poor kid was beat

But she had this soft smile on her face while she slept as tamaki carried her back to aizawa’s apartment

When you two put her in her bed, she woke up a bit, and whispered “Thank you Tama-kun, thank you y/n-chan” and fell back asleep, cuddling her cat tightly

After that, she was always ecstatic to see you and tamaki

That One Time the Anime did it Better

So I’ve written about scenes that should have been in the anime, but I wanted to concede that there is *one* scene in the anime that I absolutely love and am disappointed it didn’t come directly from the manga.

One of the great things the anime gave us (besides the music; go ahead and admit that soundtrack was awesome) was the above exchange between Hiro and Eiri.

I love that Eiri first mistakes Hiro’s intentions as jealousy, Hiro’s humble but sincere request that Eiri take care of Shuichi and not hurt him on purpose, Eiri sizing Hiro up by asking what he would do if he didn’t, and especially Hiro’s response. He knows Shuichi can be dramatic, but he will not tolerate anyone intentionally hurting his friend.

And how it was this confrontation that drove Eiri to find Shuichi in the park and comfort Shuichi (in his own way) by giving him insight to Seguchi. (all while the wonderful Anti-nostalgic plays in the background)

It’s just absolutely, beautifully done.

In the manga, Hiro’s first time actually meeting Eiri was when he confronted him after Aizawa’s attack. Which made for a dramatic scene, but I think I prefer this here, because it shows what a wonderful friend Hiro is (don’t forget- he and Shuichi were fighting over band stuff at this point, and Hiro *still* wanted to keep his friend form getting hurt)

And this also shows that while Eiri can be very difficult to read, he is at least starting to become fond of Shuichi.

I love the manga’s over-the-top absurdity, and I do wish the anime had kept more of the manga’s tone. But I think that this scene shows a subtlety and tenderness that was sometimes lacking in the manga.

He was who he suspected him to be, didn’t he?                 Shouta Aizawa; the Erasure Hero. One of the Heroes who currently had Eiri in his possession. Interesting, to see such a Hero here, but Kai wouldn’t say he faulted him.

He -- too -- enjoyed a good masquerade once in a while. . .Even if he’s supposed to be on the down low due to his ‘escape’.

“. . .Ah. My mistake then. You simply looked someone I remembered, after all.” Although he was better at masking the falters of his tone, make no mistake. He didn’t believe Shouta wasn’t keenly aware of him or the song-and-dance he was already doing.
