no exactly matt u and me are like 🤝🏾🫰🏾🤝🏾 on this, they def give me combined adhd + autism and inattentive adhd vibes. i also personally like to imagine both of them having hyperlexia + dyscalculia bc i imagine tommy and joel having hypercalculia (+ dyslexia for tommy)

ellie and sarah are just super readers that can’t do math for shit, meanwhile tommy is a math wiz who hasn’t voluntarily read a book since senior year. joel is a decent reader and enjoys a good book once in a while, but he LOVES math. he’s always liked it, but ever since sarah and ellie starting coming to him and asking him to get into “miller math genius mode” to help them out, it’s become his absolute favorite thing
