“Do you expect me to believe that?” A brow raised in utter displeasure. “I did not know your manners went down the drain with my disappearance. ‘Woman?’ Why not call me, Miss Lee? Oh, is it because Samantha has taken over my position? Then maybe you ought to call me noona instead.” The supposed term of respect glides from her lips in icy sarcasm, hands crossed over chest as she looks over the male with eyes darting to every inch of his face, finding something - or anything that he has been hiding under that façade for years.

1: What is your #1 favorite anime?

Natsume Yuujinchou…. there used to be a time when i was like “oh i can’t pick a fav” that time has passed…. now it’s 100% Natsume yuujinchou. 

3: Which anime made you laugh the hardest?

Hm…. probably Osomatsu-san… it’s a show i didn’t expect to like at all but it was just so funny and i think i probably laughed the hardest during it… but i don’t watch a lot of comedy anime in general. 

7: Have you ever watched an entire anime in one sitting?

Yep, one time i got trigun for like 5 bucks a disk and i meant to just watch an episode before bed… ended up watching the whole damn thing…. i was very tired the next day…. also when i rewatch natsume yuujinchou if i allow myself i will marathon it since it’s like “oh the next episode is so good… ok one more episode”

8: Who is your favorite anime character?

Natsume Takashi, I just adore him as a character and i love seeing how he’s grown and i identify so much with him (not the seeing spirits things obviously but damn near everything else)… and i just want him to be happy… like… just gotta protect the precious baby. 

10: Which [3] animes would you most recommend?

Hm…. i’m not big on recommending titles without know what typs of things people already like but the three shows i most often recommend are

a) Toradora - a really sweet and heartfelt romcom that’ll make you laugh as much as it makes you cry. I also love how it plays on expectations and holdign poeple on pedestals

b) Princess Tutu - The title may not be the best but if yo ucan get the first couple of episodes where everything is solved by dancing then you get an intense story that deals with so many themes so well i just can’t even begin to describe how much i love every moment of this show…. when i reccomend this one i ask people to at least watch till episode 13 since even though thats a lot to ask the story gets so much deeper as you get further in

c) Natsume yuujinchou - I actually don’t recommend this one much because it (on the surface) is an incredibly chill show about a boy who can see spirits and his cat bodyguard…. but once you get further in you get so attached to all these characters and it’s probably got the most blood of any other Shoujo anime i have watched and it gets scary and heartfelt and sweet and sad and sometimes people just want action and i get that but i love that there are so many chill episodes to offset ones that are a bit darker… but yeah i get chill shows aren’t for everyone so i don’t recommend it much but i WANT to recommend it to everyone 

12: What is your favorite romance anime?

Toradora or Lovely complex. I already rambled about toradora so i’ll just say i love that Lovely complex deals with the pain of having a one sided crush… it deals with how feelings can change… it deals with expectations based on appearance or attitude… but man that Bear curry scene gets me EVERY time. 

13: What is your favorite comedy anime?

Yeah gunna have to go with Osomatsu-san again cause it just made me laugh so hard… and i don’t watch too many comedy shows (cause unfortunately not all comedy is universal)

19: What is your favorite slice of life anime?

Natsume yuujinchou, i know it’s not completely slice of life but it’s the closest genre i can match it to. Other ones i like are Clannad, Blue Spring Ride and Kids on the Slope… oh also Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju… such a good show and litterally a large slice of someones life. 

24: Name [1] anime you wish everyone would watch

Natsume Yuujinchou… like… it’s got 5 seasons so far (4 seasons of 13 episodes 1 of 11) and season six will air in a few months… and it’s just so good and the plot is getting so deep and you’re seeing characters real motives and I could litterally gush for HOURS (i know this cause i have with friends) about how good this show is and i would love if more watched it. 

25: What is an anime you regret watching?

School Days… anyone who has seen it knows why… and for years i wouldn’t listen to the recommendations from the friend who told me i should watch this garbage. 

Also Amnesia… just because wow that show made me so incredibly mad (especially with the last two guys stories) because i just think it’s really irresponsible to romanticize things like Litteral drugging and kidnapping… like maybe had the character had to pay a price it wouldn’t bug me as much as it does but NO… it’s shown as romantic and just…. NOPE…. nope nope nope. 

28: Do you watch a new anime because you think it will be good, or because its popular?

True Story - I give EVERY show EVERY season a try (assuming it’s on a legal streaming service like Crunchyroll, Daisuki or Funimation) so for most shows i just continue to watch cause i like them.

For older shows if they are hugely popular i’ll probably avoid them till the hype dies down (attack on titan comes to mind - I liked it but i didn’t think i would while it was airing so i avoided it) but most of the time i don’t pay attention to whats popular cause i like my chill slice of life/urban fantasy shows… and they don’t tend to get that popular

30: How many anime episodes is ‘ideal’ for you?

As many as it needs… nothing worse then a show being rushed to fit into a single cour but also nothing worse then shows that have hundreds of epoisodes but most are filler… so yeah i like the show to have mostly plot and as little filler as possible… how ever many episodes that takes. 

34: Have you ever watched an anime only because you liked a specific character?

*thinks* i don’t think i have… I’ve watched shows (or at least given them a chance when i otherwise may have ditched) because of certain voice actors (Hiroshi kamiya comes to mine) but never for a specific character. 

38: Name a popular anime you hate

Enter popular Shonen title here…. like i just don’t like shonen (cause they are too long with too much filler and constant fights or tournaments are boring as hell to me) it’s not all bad but for the most part… yeah the big ones either put me to sleep (like i cannot watch one piece without taking a nap) or bore me to tears. not to mention a lot of time there an issue of power creep… i mean people are getting new skills, attacks, weapons and it just makes everything before it pointless. so yeah i’ll stick with my fluffy shoujo crap~ it makes me happy. 

That was so much fun… i would joke and say take a shot every time i mention natsume but don’t do that you might get sick >< i just love it so much~

At least there’s no longer any hint of ice surrounding him when his emotions flare. “You are too intelligent and resourceful for me to even bother trying.” If there’s anything he will give to the older Lee sister, it would be her resourcefulness and her quick wit. He has suspicions, but he needs more proof before he makes any decisions. However, Lorraine is further off her rocker than Adrian thought. Family drama is the absolute worst. When other people are involved, it gets messy. He shakes his head. “Didn’t know your half-wit of a sister had such inferiority issues that anyone loyal to you was thrown out or forcibly shipped off to branches outside Seoul.” He rolls his eyes at the older woman. Had she been some other boss, he would have probably been slapped across the face for impudence.  “In case you didn’t get the memo, there were some traitors in the board of directors who staged a nice little coup to throw me, and a bunch of others loyal to you, out of the company,” he says like he’s just discussing the weather. He sorts his papers just so he doesn’t have to look at what he thinks is a misdirected disappointment. “Apparently they don’t trust someone outside the family to run the show. Im Youngmin will probably know more, but last I saw him, we both had guns pointed at our heads in this office. Not going to lie, I only accepted the offer to come back here because they said you’re running the show again.”

She wouldn’t even dare hide the contempt in her face, evident in the way her brow raises upon such words that is a clear lie spit right on her face. The way he laces his words with compliments is very much like him. Or like her. Runs in the genes, yeah? Probably. “If you know me well, you wouldn’t even say that, Adrian Lee.” Lorraine reunites with the chair that was and supposed to be still her throne, her leather cushion replaced with softer ones. Samantha.

Goddamn. Replaced her chair when that incompetent woman doesn’t even use it. Great job, Samantha.

Stretched legs made its way across the desk, pointed heels used to tip over the marble plate engraved with her sister’s name before retracting it and easing onto her seat. “Stupid little girl made my office her own little play place.”

“They don’t trust someone outside, yet they trust someone who barely knows the business? What fuckery is that?” Yet in all honesty, she could not trust him either. Maybe she did, back when her doubts about this young man wasn’t supplemented yet with facts that may seem to be a little too coincidental. Like the way he bears the same surname. Or even his age. Or just as how he had winded up in this company, out of all companies out there.  

No one is to be trusted now.

“One question first.” Her fingers play along the papers piled on the desk, all left to be signed by their current CEO, and she could almost laugh at how absurd Samantha’s name is printed over once was hers. She could laugh at it, but decided to crumple it on her palms instead before throwing it to the trash bin, just as how she will trash that sister out of her office. “Are you on my side, Adrian?”

And then she leans, arms on the desk, eyes straight on him.

“Are you really on my side?”

1: Do you try to stay away from walkthroughs?Yes, however if i am stuck and to the point where i’m not having fun i will check one out with no guilt.

2: Company you’re always loyal to?I want to say i’m not loyal to any company… but I really love Falcom games and i give them chances when i wouldn’t do the same for others so i guess i’m loyal to falcom (hell i’m wearing as Ys hoody as we speak)

4: Worst game you’ve ever played?I have a few for this but i’ll pick 3 to keep this a little shorta) L’ark Rise Fantasia - I got this game cause the art looked pretty and within two second i realized i had made a horrible mistake. This game has some of the worst voice acting i have EVER heard… add a battle system that is both too complex and too easy (cause auto battle is a thing) and just a cliche story… i’m so close to beating it but i just can’t bring myself to careb) A Witches Tale - also the game that made me a lot more cautious about blind buying NISA games… this game is completely controlld with the stylus… has enviroment hazards and puzzles and apparently you have to beat it two (the exact same game) to get the true endc) Brandish - I’m not completely loyal to falcom, this rogue-like-ish game literally shot my anxiety so high i powered off my psvita and knew i would never play again

5: A popular series/game you just can’t get into no matter how much you try?Legend of Zelda… i love the story, character design, art and music…. but i get so mad when i’m playing it… i hate that enemies seem to get hit at random and those hit boxes… I just do not like playing it (don’t mind watching others play) To Date i have only beaten one game in the series (link between worlds) and i litterally sat back and went “why am i not happy… i’m usually happy after beating a game” and it was like an epiphany of never having enjoyed the games… may still try breath of the wild… but probably not. 

8: Best soundtrack?Uh….. *looks at all the falcom games* UHHHHHH *looks at radiant Historia* UMMMMMMM *looks at Fire Emblem* …. ..oh man this is hard… um… I don’t think i can pick

10: A game you’ve completely given up on?so many, i think i’l lsay person 1 on psp… it’s just so archaic i wasn’t having any fun

13: A game you were the most excited for when it wasn’t released yet?Trails in the Sky Second Chapter is probably the most excited i’ve been for an unreleased game… i cried when Xseed teased that pigs would fly.

18: A game you wish your friends knew about?I’m lucky that most of my friends know about the niche games i play but i would like if more people knew about Avalon code…. it’s a cute DS game 

22: If you could immerse yourself in any game for one day, which game would it be? What would you do?Uh probably Pokemon… and i would find an eevee or Flareon and snuggle it all day

23: Biggest disappointment you’ve had in gaming?More of a disappointment in myself then a game but when i immediately figure out the twist for Trails of cold steel… i was so sad… i spent the rest of the game trying to prove myself wrong.. .and i was disappointed that i was right… i know it’s not really answering the question but it’s the best i’ve got. 

24: Casual, Hardcore, or in the middle?I’m sure people would probably considering me ‘casual’ cause i enjoy things like puzzle and Rhythm games but considering just how many games i have played i would consider myself a bit closer to hardcore i guess? the whole separation of games is silly though.

29: Which is more important, gameplay or story?Music….. no seriously… ok but time to actually answer the question… it depends? Probably story is more important to me… but honestly if the story and gameplay are good but the music is shit i will not play it… music is number 1

30: A game that hasn’t been localized in your country that you think should be localized?A few, the sherlock holmes-y ace attorney games…. all the kiseki games (inluding Nayuta) we haven’t gotten yet.. .actualyl yeah thats pretty much it lolwow this is long… i’m sorry but this was fun~!
