Marrok Mystery

So I know there's a lot of speculation that the Inquisitor Marrok is actually Ezra Bridger or Barriss Offee in disguise, but I am highly doubtful for the following reasons:

The stuntman playing Marrok is 6 ft 1, and Emand Esfandi is 5 ft. 11. Not a huuuge height difference, but not a small one either. Needless to say, the stuntman's height and build bear no resemblance to Barriss.

Why would Ezra still be in the home galaxy when Thrawn is apparently in another one? I recall that when Thrawn was being squeezed by the purrgil tentacles, he said "What happens now, happens to us both" and Ezra said, "That's the idea." So having Ezra somehow wind up being an Inquisitor working for Morgan Elsbeth far from Thrawn makes zero sense to me.

Ezra already went through an arc of almost falling to the Dark side, so why repeat it, plus negate Ezra's victory on Lothal after all of Kanan's training and sacrifice? Like most Jedi, Ezra will continue to be tested by the Dark side, but to become an Inquisitor? I very much hope the writers did not go in this direction with Ezra's character. It's jarring enough that they've got Ahsoka training Sabine out of nowhere.

It would be refreshing for Marrok to be an original character, one that Morgan keeps around to do the kills that Skoll and Hati apparently find too distasteful to do directly themselves (such as killing Ahsoka and Sabine).

I guess we shall see what we shall see...
