╚ Taehyun was also a member of the first fan-made group of PD101, JBJ. They debuted October 2017 with Fantasy, they got their first win on their first comeback, My Flower. The group disbanded after seven months of promotion.

╚ After the show, Samuel debuted solo with his song, SIXTEEN and he came back with a full-length album, Eye Candy. (Candy as the song title). Samuel also promoted in Japan with Pony Canyon assisting him for his Japanese Promotions. So far, he have 3 OSTs, 1 television series and he won 2018 New Hallyu Performance Award in Soribada.

╚ They represented HF Music (Happy Face Music). Woodam placed 35th, Jinyoung at 40th, Woncheol at 95th and Yonggeun at 93rd

╚ Woodam was known for his high notes and he is the brother of SISTAR member, Soyou. Jinyoung amazed the national producers with his performance of SMTM's I Am Not What You Think where his nickname "Woo Jinyoung micheotji" (Woo Jinyoung is crazy) came from.

╚ After the show, Woodam, Jinyoung and Yonggeun joined another survival show, MIX NINE. Woodam didn't made it to the cut, Yonggeun was eliminated in the 3rd round and Jinyoung actually WON the show, he was in the 1st place set to debut in YG's new group. UNFORTUNATELY, YG and other companies disagreed with the new contract YG set (As far as I know, YG changed the contract saying the winning members of MIX NINE should promote for THREE YEARS which is very impossible for a SURVIVAL SHOW group since they came from different entertainments). This misunderstanding made HF Music file a lawsuit against YG Entertainment (and up until now, there's no result yet). Like, guys Jinyoung BEGGED YG for another chance during MIX NINE cause he is so determined to debut. He did well during the show and got the 1st place but YG suddenly fucked up. (Sorry, I'm just mad at YG for not letting MIX NINE debut)

╚  AND here's the good news, Woodam, Jinyoung, Woncheol and Yonggeun is in a group under HF Music called HNB

╚ He represented HIM Entertainment and placed 37th. He was known as the oldest trainee during the show and the trainee who looks like Song Joong Ki.

╚ After the show, Sungwoo became a model and an actor. He got the Support role for "The Omniscent Viewpoint On Crushes" (2017); Main Role for "Oh! Dear Half- basement Goddesses" (2017) and another main role for "Because It's My First Time" (2018).

Kim Sangkyun

╚ He represented Hunus Entertainment and placed 26th.

╚ Before entering the show, he is a member of the boy group toppdogg where he use his stage name, A-Tom. After PD101, Sangkyun joined JBJ and promoted for 7 months. After his promotions with JBJ, Sangkyun left ToppDogg. After months, he and Kenta formed a duo named JBJ95. (THEY WILL HAVE A COMEBACK PLS SUPPORT THESE BABIES)

confession: when pd101s2 ended it greatly upset me to see people saying that they weren’t gonna stan wanna one because the show was unfair. even while the show as going on it just made me angry whenever people said that. you can stan who you want and not stan who you don’t, but for the reason of the show being ‘unfair’ was just plain petty to me? idk the right word lmao but it made me angry because the show was never really unfair to the viewers. people complained about it changing for top 11 to just 1, when season 1 was like that but mnet still changed it from top 1 to top 2 for the viewers. the people on the show were the ones treated unfairly. they were sleep deprived, starved, overworked and put under a lot of mental stress. they were the ones who suffered, not the viewers. the reevals weren’t released cause yehyeon fainted recording his from overworking, trainees slept for 3 hours within like 3 days just to get the nayana choreo down, they were starved (remember lower rank trainees only had rice to eat?), they even had their confidence torn down not just by the viewers (remember hyunbin deleted all his ig posts so people can’t comment attacking him, jisung privating his ig acc because people were attacking him, daehwi apologizing for being ‘ugly’ because people didn’t like him being the center, hyungseob admitting he was scared to talk on the show because he was edited to look bad and he didn’t want a repeat of that) but by the mentors themselves (lets not forget that one coach told hyungseob that he had no skill). the show was unfair but never to the viewers and it rubbed me the wrong way when they said they weren’t gonna support it for being unfair. imo it was like saying you we’re gonna support the group because the members were treated badly. backwards isn’t it? but wanna one is doing well and have lots of support so im very happy about that!

Don't you ever just feel emotional because of how much the pd101 boys have matured? I mean, do you ever just stop and get consumed by the thought that finally, after the struggling, they've received their fans' love, their parents' "my child has done well, my son, my son" and the universe's plan for them is unfolding into a flower path??

Okay listen... I cried so much at kcon. Mainly because 1) I almost didn’t make it to bc I had some personal stuff going on at the same time and 2) they showed the scenes of the final episode where they get their winning ranks. I guess it just hit me, how far W1 have come in such a short time. Seeing their winning moments was too much honestly. I was sitting by myself but the girls next to me were very nice and tried to comfort me as much as possible. It’s just a indefinable feeling to sit there and see them perform and see them in their element, happy and passionate and successful when not so long ago I worried about what them making it or not. 

Not only them, though. All the trainees are doing their best and it makes me so happy and emotional. The fact that JBJ and Rainz is happening has to be the best news ever and I cried a lot over them (esp. Daehyeon bc I was so worried about him). Sewoon debuting soon, Yongguk and Sihyun (Sihyun who didn’t even get to finish p101!!!) debuting was so amazing. Samuel debuting was also very emotional for me because he’s been through a LOT and p101 was not easy for him (or anyone) at all. Yehyeon having fan events and getting a v app channel, Taemin also having a fanmeet. Hyunmin inviting Jaewoo, Taewoo and Chan to his fanmeet. And there’s more too not just them!! (I’m not ignoring anyone purposely kjwekrllwe it would take me a long time to write them all out bc i’d end up rambling about how much I love them tbh) It just makes me so happy that they’re getting chances to continue doing what they love and sharing that with their fans. 

P101 was terrible in many aspects but I can never thank it enough for introducing me to so many wonderful lovely boys that are working so hard to chase their dreams. I’m a bit of a cynic but seeing all of them love what they do to the point that they give up so much just to have a chance- it makes me really want to get out and do something to. They’re all inspiring in different ways. I don’t know what I would do if I didnt have their instagram posts and all the content about them to cheer me up when things are hard. I’m still learning little things about them each day and I hope that even those who’ve left the industry find happiness in wherever life takes them. 

I have a spreadsheet I use to keep up with all of the boys but there are so many that sometimes I can’t. I feel really sad about the boys that haven’t had their chance to shine as much so I try to support them in anyway I can. but sometimes I do cry over them because I love them so much and it really hurts me to see them cheerful and happy despite the struggle- I don’t think I could ever maintain a cheerful outlook like that to be honest.

I’m very emotional about all the boys honestly. If you ever want to make me cry just bring them up and mention how great they’re doing and I will bawl because I’m so SO SO SO proud of all of them. I’m proud of what they’ve achieved and what they will achieve and I’m just proud they exist because they make life so much brighter.
