I COMPLETELY AGREE (here’s why)

Okay, first of all, with Toriel, I am genuinely losing my mind over how some people somehow manage to label her as an "abusive mother" just because she's dating someone who isn't Asgore. Like... really? Really?! She's a grown woman. Let her sip her wine in peace.

Newsflash: she was already enjoying her cozy little glass of red before Kris even walked through the door. But nooo, here come the takes: "But Kris shouldn't have to see her moving on with another man!" Oh, give me a break. I am convinced half of you are just projecting your own unresolved parental issues onto Kris. It is not that deep.

Toriel is out here living her best life, being the wine mom she was always meant to be, and instead of applauding her for maintaining sanity while parenting a literal vessel of existential weirdness, y'all are throwing around "abuse" like it's a free sample at the drama deli.

Get a grip. Let the woman live.

And let's talk about Sans, shall we? Because apparently, people are out here getting mad at him for being "dismissive." And honestly? That criticism reeks of bias. Y'all are looking at this with Player Knowledge™, where you see everyone's feelings, backstories, and emotional breakdowns in cinematic clarity. Sans? He's not reading the script with you. He's just vibing.

From his perspective, things don't always seem like a big deal, so yeah, he shrugs stuff off. It's not apathy; it's just Sans being... well, Sans. The guy is a terminally chill, pun-making skeleton who approaches life like it's an open mic night where everyone's a little too uptight. He's logical, he's relaxed, and he deals with the chaos around him the same way we all wish we could: with dry humor and a shrug.

And let's be real here: he absolutely rolled into here for the goat mom. And that is okay.

Can we please stop calling Sans a homewrecker like he kicked down Asgore's front door with a bouquet and a six-pack? He and Toriel have been confirmed drinking buddies even outside of Deltarune. This isn't some shady affair; it's two grown adults bonding over knock-knock jokes and red wine. Toriel and Asgore are not together anymore; there's nothing to "wreck."

Let the woman have some fun, and let Sans date in peace without you all acting like he burned down a family unit. The only thing he's guilty of destroying is the fourth wall and maybe your sense of seriousness.

Like I'm sorry if some people on this site have some trauma related to their parents divorces and their moms dating new guys, but the amount of over-exaggeration and ridiculous shit that people are coming up with to make that scene something disgusting and predatory is just pure insanity.

Saying "Aw poor Kris, that sucks"? Understandable. Saying "These are the behaviors of an abusive mother and a predatory home wrecker"? Absolutely batshit, go straight to counseling and work your shit out.
