Rinne Amagi Age Regressor Headcanons

Notes: This very self indulge and probably ooc, but I don't care, he's my character now

Rinne hates teethers and pacis, he wants to feel like a child but without feeling like an actual child/baby

Generally speaking, he can go about his day without people knowing his regress, he can hide his regression really well, the only people that knows is Niki and HiMERU

When little, he doesn't talk in baby talk and doesn't understand it whatsoever, but he talks in shorter brusts and smaller words, and will talk more like a toddler or pre-teen

Toy wise, he as a couple:

A weighted lamb, white in color and can be heated up but he chooses not to use it, he thinks it's murder if he did.

Several bee plushies, some from merchandise and some from stores/gifts

But his favorite one is a floppy death bee with a goofy smile on his face and big in size, he uses it as a pillow sometimes

He owns one fox plush that can be heated up, and he will heat the plush, it's, by far, his favorite plush that he owns and only Niki can hold the fox. Sometimes, if he really stressed, he will bring the fox with him and have him in his work bag

He very attached to that fox, and will freak the fuck out if the fox is out of his sight or missing from his holding place in a pillow casing squashed between pillow stuffing in order to hide him from everyone

His caregiver, a very loose term in this sense, is Niki, but most of the time, Niki just babysits him. Making sure he doesn't do anything stupid

Rinne can normally care for himself and prefers to do it all by his alone, he only goes to Niki on bad *bad* days. Like, sobbing or having an massive depression episode bad.

Niki simply holds him and cuddles with him, rubbing his back and such while Rinne hides his face in Niki's chest, he rarely talks during this time.

Niki understands that his presence just helps, and he's more than happy to comfort Rinne if he seeks it

Food wise, he still loves whatever Niki makes but he secretly is overjoyed when Niki makes him more 'kid' foods. Pretty much any food that he didn't get the chance to eat when he lived at the village; chicken nuggets, pizzas, fries, pancakes with chocolate in it, balls of cheese in it. Just anything that he didn't get the chance to get growing up

When he learnt what JellyCat was, he immediately brought a fox and bee one and now cuddles with the two nearly every night, these are NOT the same fox/bee plush from earlier

I don't think Rinne will want to change his clothes whenever he was regressed.

I think he enjoys what he usual wears and won't find it uncomfortable and maybe even overstimulating if he wears something that wasn't his typical clothing style.

He will wear the typical stuff he wears whenever he stays at Niki's; a old and a slightly larger shirt that he found while thrifting, either long sleepwear pants or basketball shorts and he removes his hairband whenever he regresses

Nothing to special/crazy, just cozy stuff he finds in his closest

A cooks, B wants to help, desperately

Notes:

This is my first time writing something like this, seriously and having finished the piece

It's not the best but think the prompt finds the two

Have any writing advice? Tell me, just don't be overly rude about it :D

Two cups of rice in the pot, pouring tap water into the rice and cleaning in a circular motion. Draining the milky water into the sink. He placed the pot on the stove, turning it up the a medium heat, partially covering the lid. While that boiled, he turned his attention to the scallions.

Sitting peacefully on the cutting board, a generous gift from HiMERU for his 20th, he angled the knife diagonally. Four fingers holding the onion still, he quickly chopped up the white part of the onion. Enough fill a handful. He slid that to the side with the spine of the knife, placing it to the corner of the board as he flipped the onion around for the garish.

Angling the knife again, he made his way to chop a few of the green part as well-

"Mhm!"

"Rinne!" Niki yelled back, whipping his head around to face the older man that wrapped his arms around his waist and shoved his head against his shoulder. Pouting sadly at the cook.

"Mmmm!" The red-haired whined, stomping his feet on the ground like some child, his arms tightening around the other's waist. Baby blue eyes glanced at Niki's before darting to the cutting board. A hand reaching out for the knife.

"No! You can't-" pulling the knife away from Rinne's hold, he set the knife down as he turned to face Amagi. Both pissed off and angry- stupid Rinne and his stupid habit of partially tackling him while he was cooking. No matter how many times he, Niki; the cook, tells him, Rinne; the person who hasn't cooked in over a decade, how dangerous and reckless it was to bother him cooking. Rinne just doesn't seem to get it.

"You can't keep handesy me while I cook! You can ruin the food and get you, me, and my kitchen hurt!" Niki scolded the other man, glancing at the pot to check if it was boiling it (it wasn't), he glanced back Rinne to find that his anger quickly turned to soft guilt.

Rinne wasn't Rinne. He means, it was still Rinne. It still was the same body, same freckles, same moles, same messy hair that never seems to cooperate, same baby blue eyes. It was a softer, much more delicate, much more emotional Rinne.

With his sharp eyes now with wide and curious eyes. Baby blues that glanced up at him as if he held the secrets of the world. That darted between the wind chimes outside in the balcony to the his face to the knife on the counter to the apron that Niki was wearing. Cheeks that were almost always in a pout. Puffy and slightly red (Niki blamed that on the heat whether than Rinne himself ).

"Mhm!" Rinne, once more, puffed out his cheeks and whined against Niki. Placing his head on the other's chest. Baby blues.

He sighed. A hand reaching for his temple as he gave that a good rub. He couldn't deal with a needy Rinne, especially with a needy Ri-Ri who wanted to help him cook, or to atleast, hold the knife.

"No." He firmly(tried to) told Rinne, doing his best 'I'm the oldest one here' face that he could muster. The same one that he seen Rinne give Hiiro after the teenager wanted to fight Rinne in the halls of the dormitory.

"You can't hold the knife, Ri-Ri. You're too young." He explained, raising a finger to point at the regressed boy.

"Mhm!" The little boy only pouted and whined. And Niki, tired and terribly overworked Niki, sighed.

Why was Rinne acting so pouty? He, usually, never was. The most he seen the regressor do was tear up or pout or, at most, act dramatically whenever Niki didn't give him immediate attention. But he didn't stop his feet or ever tried to stop Niki from his cooking.

He looked around the kitchen-there had to be something that Rinne could play with. Something to distract him from playing and potentially hurting himself with some knife.

"How about this?" He gave the little a cheeky grin, making Rinne's pout to turn into a curious look.

Niki digged into the drawer, and underneath a littering of knives, in the back of the the drawer. He found the plastic knife. The same one he used to use when he was younger, where his dad only allowed him to cut fruits and vegetables.

Grabbing the plastic knife, after Niki had gave it a nice wash after, the red haired gave the knife a judgemental stare. His hand twisted, giving it the object a look-around, Rinne hummed.

"Mm.." Gripping the knife, how he seen Niki hold it, making sure his thumb wasn't on the spine of the blade, he looked at the gray haired male, waiting for his task.

Niki laughed, amused by the determined look on his roommate's face.

"Okay, okay, here- cut the onion for me."

shinobu likes watching cartoons methinks. mama gawks at the show with him, adding in a "WHAAAT!!" or a "OH MY GOD!" in comedic spots. also pretends not to understand parts of shows so that shinobun can explain it andnstuff

mama can cook sorry. shinobu likes dino nuggets a lot but also likes the food mama cooks. mama has him help cook when hes on the bigger end of his range

shinobunmy likes being sung to when its time for mimis.... mama loves singing his kiddos to sleep 🥹

mama is definitely more a cg than anything else, i feel like hed find being a cg just as relaxing IF NOT MORE than shinobunny finds regressing relaxing
