Naturally, when Nao is told to stay after class is dismissed,she immediately figures it’s something she did wrong. Though she’s certain she couldn’t have done anything, her mind still races with endless ways this conversation could go. Everyone knew of Aizawa’s track record of suspensions as a teacher. Fidgeting under his intense stare, her eyes drop down to the manila folder before flitting up to meet his.        

At the other’s words Nao sits up straighter,nervousness suddenly replaced with determination. “I am.. aware of that, yes.” She already knew of the many dangers she’d be putting herself in. Underground heroes likely faced far worse things than the well known ones. Though until she met Aizawa sensei she didn’t even know underground heroism was possible.  “But I want to be a hero simply to help others. I don’t need to be on the news to do that.” And If she was being completely honest, she hated being on camera and as the center of attention. And she hated how heroes were only seen as these supernatural beings when they were all just humans doing what they can to help.

RADIANT EYES SOFTENED, seemingly downcast. words that carried weight yet understood. her heart, clenched and pained, balled a fist to her chest, as if to ease the surfacing pain in her heart. painful memories were so vivid, so intense. the fall of her masters, dear friends, the numbers increased but were gradual; they were no longer rapid. they made it possible for the rest to live for another day, to have the advantage for another fight. for a better tomorrow, for peace and happiness. one day, their dreams, all their dreams will come true-- together. that day, possibly coming sooner.

“...it would be naive of me to say otherwise, but--...” a momentary pause, soft lips swept into a bittersweet smile. “i’m okay with that. keeping those painful memories, like those dear people who passed, in my heart as a way of keeping their memory alive. that they existed and did everything to protect the rest of us. when i fight, i feel them fighting with us too-- cheering us on. it might be a ittle silly thinking of it that way... but that’s what i really think.” as kanroji spoke softly, this time the smile was more gentle, more tender. “anyway, whenever i feel sad, i can always just go to the hot springs. not only does it feel really nice but it really cures just about anything. it’s so wonderful.”

Just for a moment, the teens widen before his gazed drifted of to the ground.

An odd habit from when he was young. Shutting his mouth. Either because of a bad day - sometimes an emotional turmoil but with that, he had, at last, the valid excuse he just 'forgets' or doesn't want to use his quirk on accident. It was a bad day for him.

But...he never spoke up when it came to Aizawa did he...afraid stepping out of line...upsetting him...messing this up in any shape or form.

Fear....was that what it was? His quirk was voiced based...this ridiculous..but it was just that wasn't it?  All his life, people made clear the rather have him silent, ignoring him or answering with hesitation. So much he started telling himself it was better. That this just how it was. Blunt he might be, there is a lot he rather keeps to himself.

And now there was his mentor - who wants him to speak, who doesn't want him to be silent. The first person to ever care and Shinsou was so scared of losing that.

He didn't know what to say...

“Mr. Aizawa, hello!” She waves when she spots one of U.A’s teachers in the hallway. She was heading to class herself but thought stopping to say hello wouldn’t be a bad idea. “How’s your class doing? They have internships coming up, right?”

The question was left unanswered for now, simply placing the plate of warm ooey cookies onto the kitchen table as she moved to make the man a coffee. To anyone else, she’d make a joke, but Emi knew that those never worked around Aizawa.

He was immune to her.

“I was worried so I broke in.”

“Hisashi told me you were acting weirder than normal.” She needed to be careful if the joker woman didn’t want to end up tossed out of the small apartment.

Slowly, Midoriya took his hand off his face, showing the injury he got during training. He got knocked back a ways and onto his head, so there may have been a skid mark there, if all the blood dripping down was any indication. "Not my best moment, was it? Ngh...Should be glad I didn't snap my neck..."

okay so !! christmas is coming up, you know the whole shebang. i’ll still linger and be around but until after the holidays i wont be super active

CERTAINLY, AN INTERESTING and good point. what better way to deceive and create chaos than to blend in a holiday meant to be someone other than oneself. after all, most horror movies followed that concept. where the villain lives among the innocent and dresses up when committing vicious acts. to take advantage of a holiday that was meant for good fun. it only took a few people to trample all over that. even going as far as to touch on the sinister origins of the holiday, basking the dark culture around it. the perfect time to come out and just run amok, as he put it.

the words, heavy with reason, certainly could put a damper on everything. mitsuri, though, she liked to believe there was good. if there wasn’t, if something threatened it, then that’s why they were here. to protect and save the innocent. plus, she just wanted the holiday to be enjoyed in a lighthearted manner, how it should be. dressing up as something one desired to be, to have fun, be amongst friends, and get all the candy one could possibly get. “it’ll be okay, i know it. the young ones deserve a little downtime like this. plus, that’s why we are here, in case things get ugly. as i like to say, ‘my heart--,” it was then with two small, twin little girls came by, dressed up as her, finished the rest of the quote she was famously heard saying.

“my heart will never throb for those who are on the side of evil!” the girls chirped with such mirth, their cheeks just as flustered as mitsuri's. they giggled before taking off with a wave and following after their mother, in a rush to knock on more doors for more candy.

“kyaaaaah! so cute, so cute! see, halloween is not so bad, aizawa-san. look, that little boy over there dressed up as you. isn’t he just super cute?!?” pointing towards a small man in a small black sleeping bag, she couldn’t help but smile radiantly. thinking optimistically sometimes had it’s perks. while he had a strong point and she wouldn’t dismiss it, she just had a feeling halloween wouldn’t go wrong. no funny business, she would make sure of it!

Thank you so much, to each and every one of you. I know this was a bit of tough month for some here but this doesn’t change my mind - this still is one of the community I felt most welcomed and included in, in a long time. I’m not sure if it is just the people I meet or me trying to be a bit more active in trying to engage - either way, it is a nice experiment and I’m looking forward for more time with the purple boy here to come  💜

Really, thank you so much for making this possible. I had a rough start with Shin.sou blog so I’m really happy to see people enjoy my interpretation of him.
