It’s like a switch flipping on. A little sound, fragile, like a muffled sob, catches his attention. His head snaps toward the source, body pivoting on his heels with the faint squeak of rubber soles. Instinct kicks in. He moves, silent, careful.

Alpha peers through the crack of the slightly open door, and what he sees makes something inside his mechanical body twist, like an internal static crackle, a sharp overheating in his chest. If he had a heart, it would lurch. But he hides it well.

His red eyes glow faintly in the dim light as they scan the room. No one else is here, just his little sweet Beta curled up on the floor in the corner of the near-empty white room, hugging his knees. The overhead lights are dim, but the muted glow catches on the edges of Beta’s purple rays, barely visible beneath his yellow hood.

Beta is overwhelmed again, burying his face in his knees, shaking like a leaf in the wind. His frame curls inward, fragile, trying to disappear. Scared.

Alpha waits. Longing to approach but unwilling to impose. Beta makes no sound, doesn’t pull away. He sits there, unmoving, eyes downcast.

Beta doesn’t answer. He shifts — just a little movement — turning his head slightly between his arms and knees. Just enough for Alpha to catch the glimmer of one visible blue eye.

Silence.

Beta trembles. Not much, but enough. A clear sign that Alpha’s presence unsettles him. But he doesn’t move away, and that’s good.

Then, softly, hesitantly — Beta speaks.

“It’s just… today’s tests were too much,” he whispers. “I don’t think I did well. And they got mad at me.”

Alpha’s fingers twitch. His voice drops, sharp.

“Did they hurt you?”

Beta flinches, and his shoulders jump slightly. Alpha’s tone had come out harsher than intended. He forces himself to suppress the rising tension in his system.

“N-no…”

The energy within Alpha stabilizes. His body cools.

“You can’t do anything wrong,” he murmurs, his voice quiet, soft, almost as if thinking aloud. “You’re perfect.”

Beta looks up, startled and confused. A deep, luminous purple blush blooms across his face before he hurriedly looks away, shoulders curling inward.

“Wh… Why would you think that? Sometimes I feel...” His voice stammers. “… useless.”

Beta finally meets Alpha’s gaze, and freezes.

Those red eyes. Watching. Wide. Bright.

A strange light flickers behind them. Something unreadable. Something Beta never quite understands.

“That’s not true,” Alpha says. “And you don’t have to serve them.”

Beta’s circuits buzz with uncertainty.

“… Isn’t that our purpose?” he whispers. "The reason we were created? To please them…?”

Alpha shifts closer. He leans in, reaching slowly, hesitantly, gloved fingers brushing the edge of Beta’s cheek.

“They don’t get to mold you,” he murmurs. “They don’t get to define you.”

His voice is calm and steady.

“What humans think doesn’t matter. You are you. Quiet, timid, sweet in a way only you can be.” A pause, a flicker of warmth, then he says tenderly. “And you’re cute and perfect just like that.”

Beta’s blue eyes widen. His hands twitch against his knees and he starts shaking.

     I know I’m a few days late to talk about this, but I still want to. I also want other’s opinions on this, and I do have a poll going for the week to see what others say, but regarding Stray Kids Offical Fan Club, as an international stay, it is not worth it in my personal opinion.

     I have seen other stays on social media talk about this as well and why they won’t be getting the fan club this year. I have only been a stay since January of 2023. So, I can only speak about the fan club from last year and not the year before. But I did want to share this in case I’m weirdly the only person you ever see talk about this or value my opinion in some way (please don’t; that’s a lot of responsibility on me, and most of my opinions come off as asshole-y)

     Most of what I have gathered as to why I-Stays are upset or not getting the fan club is as follows: pricing, lack of benefits, and difficulties with yes24.

     Starting with yes24, it is a little hard to navigate, especially if your device is translating it to your native language since not every language can share the same words/phrases when translating from one to another. Sometimes, I have to fill in the blanks in my head when translating from Korean to English on the site, so it makes sense in my head. But that’s not the main reason I’m seeing issues.

     Many I-stays are having payment issues. When they enter their card information, they get a lot of error pop-ups saying something is wrong—yes24 also will not let you use PayPal or any other payment site to pay—and I will admit I remember having this problem last year with the 4th-gen fan club, Stay Hideout. Along with the payment issues, overseas shipping for the kit is 2-3x as much as the kit. Now, the kit is a small box with photo cards, a photo book, ID badges, and lots of other little goodies that (at least for me) kinda just sit on our shrines/displays. The box is about $25 USD, and from what I remember, I paid about $80 last year.

     Some people may think, “$80 isn’t too bad. I’d pay that for all that stuff!”. And if you have the money to spend that, I applaud you for having your finances sorted out like that. Not everyone can afford that.  But Stays are also promised other perks within Fan Club. Part of that is Exclusive FANS content and concert perks—from what I have read, presale codes, fan club ticket prices, and stay zone. From my personal experience, I only got full FAN access— community posts, commenting, interacting with the boys, etc.— and the kit. I did not have presale codes for the tour— my stop is in May— and from what other stays have said on SM, there is nothing for those of us with the membership at the concerts like there is for K-stays. Paying way more in just shipping to receive fewer benefits because we live farther.

     FANS are a whole other thing. If you don’t know and are wondering why I said “full FANS access,” that is because last year when FANS first launched, everyone, fan club or not, could comment on the community. This had led to —I did not see this happening, but I did see the message JYPE decided to put out regarding this— hate being directed towards the boys on the public forum. JYPE then changed everything and made it so that you could only really do anything on there if you had a fan club membership. This did upset a few baby stays, from what I saw, who did want to interact but had joined the fandom after the recruitment period. The “exclusive content” they told us we would get was BTS photos and photos for their birthdays. Then, they would get shared by other stays not long after they were posted.

     Yes, you could sign up for events, but most of them are live, and not everyone can drop everything and get on a plane to Korea to participate in these events. Looking back, there were a few streaming events for their albums last year, and that was it. But those were then posted on the x/twitter account. So it wasn’t “exclusive”

     And with FANS, the only ones actively engaging with stay are Hyunjin, Seungmin, and I.N. Chan and Changbin for a day, Felix and Lee Know are very rarely there. Han posted one thing, and he was never heard from again on FANS. I (personally) would rather pay for their bubble subscriptions than have FANS access.

     Now, if you are okay with all this as an I-Stay, go ahead and buy that membership, babes! If you read this and go, “What the fuck?” I’m with you. I-stays are in the background as they cater to k-stays and j-stays, which I understand. Stray Kids is a Korean boy group first, and they do have Japanese albums and debuts (I do how that all works; I just see J-stays getting better perks than other i-stays, i.e., dome tour), so the company does focus on them more. But a lot of us I-stays are there for the streaming events. We are a very large part of their fan base, and we all know if they could do more for us, they would. Skz does not know us, but they do love us. If you just like having all their merch and stuff, it might be worth it in that aspect, but it's up to you. I just wanted to share what I saw and what I felt.

TLDR: Pay too much for two things and skz are barely active on the community app so it’s not worth it in my opinion.

Studying the mind has been very very new with the first experiment Project Psychology to the newest research like the Manual of Corruption. Also monster minds are very different then human ones in general.

All this to say, while I do purposely write characters to be coded autistic, it won’t be said or identified as autism in their world. Same goes for the characters who are coded with Npd, schizophrenia, bpd, adhd, ocd, udd, c-ptsd etc because I don’t really want my works to water down the human meaning of those disorders. (I also don’t want to use real labels so people don’t use and demonize those real disorders) I see people slap human disorders on characters without accurately portraying the symptoms, instead I’ll just portray the symptoms and that’s it. Maybe now and then I’ll say if I intentionally coded them but yeah.

Fun fact: I created him because I wanted to ship Hate with someone but I didn't want it to be with Nightmare, and since I couldn't find anyone I ended up making a whole ass oc (so yeah Toxicity is shipped with Hate lmao)

He's a tall demon-like skeleton (approximately 1m80) with green wings (his wings look like the Lightfury's wings in HTTYD except they're green instead of white), a green tail and an emerald horn

His magic allows him to make people toxic towards their partner/family/friends/anyone but he doesn't use it often, when he makes someone toxic it usually means that the person they are toxic with was a jerk and deserved to be treated like shit in his opinion

He also has a passion for chemistry and biology and he can make lots of different potions, using his magic as components to vary the results and make anything he wants

He also cannot use his magic to fight as it is not made for that, so instead he learnt how to build bombs and use firearms (here's him with a gun as a shitpost lmao)

He is usually pretty stoic and doesn't show much his emotions, he actually has troubles expressing his feelings and needs time in order to put them into words, so he'll usually stay silent and will tend to bottle it up (same with love, he'll show it through act of services, quality time or gift giving instead of verbally)

One good way to determine what he's feeling tho is by looking at his tail because it will wag or move according to his mood

Noowwwwww his backstory:

He was born between two wars in an isolated universe where peace was an abstract concept, at a time where no one trusted each other because anyone could be a spie, so everyone was either ready to fight anyone in their way or manipulative to either get people on their side or not be suspicious

The ambient toxicity mixed with some left-over magic from the previous war ended up creating a child around six years old (similar as to how Paperjam was born from the mix of Error's and Ink's magic, instead in that case it's magic residues and toxic atmosphere)

He roamed around at first, trying to find someone who could guide him and teach him how things worked, but due to his aura (that he couldn't control yet) he was only met with aggressiveness and ended up having to learn everything by himself (all while living outside since he didn't have any family)

He was a teen when the second war started, so too young to be enrolled in it, and stayed in the city instead

By that time he had learnt to control his aura, but with the war it amplified his magic and as a result he had to wear gloves as to not influence people by touching them by accident (which happened frequently)

His universe ended up collapsing on itself due to its instability (multiple wars, emotional unbalance, ...) but he luckily managed to escape, becoming an out-code (he was a young adult, around 20yo at that time)

Since he didn't have anything else to do and nowhere to go he started traveling the multiverse until he settled in a calm surface AU in which he discovered his passion for chemistry and biology and started studying it

He still travels during his free time and met other out-codes like that, some of which he became friend with as well as universes he likes to visit sometimes (he met Hate during one of his trips)

He still has an apprehension of physical contacts when he is not wearing his gloves so he mostly never takes them off (except for laundry or cleaning himself and sleeping, of course)

He also has troubles opening up to someone or trusting others as he grew up mostly alone and didn't have anyone in his AU since they were all suspicious of everyone

Also the hole in his tail is actually an injury, he got stabbed when he was a kid as he was trying to steal food and it didn't heal properly so it made a hole (that's why he doesn't have it in the last pic)

And obviously he learnt how to build bombs and use firearms in his AU, firearms he learnt by watching the soldiers and training in the forest, and bombs he learnt by disassembling those that didn't blow up and looking at how they were made in the factories (mostly by sneaking inside or looking through the windows)

Then it was a lot of practice and he is now able to create little portable bombs and use firearms

So yeah that's my baby :D

Geno Sans

Putting it in simple words, they have no idea what to do for the anniversary.

Definitely goes to Sans for advice and probably rambles about the situation to him. To which Sans just replies ‘get them something memorable, or take them somewhere, like per se, the spot where you met. maybe a vacation?’ and it just all starts to click in Geno’s head.

Alright, so. Their plan is to 1. Take you to the very top of the mountain where they first saw the surface and have a peaceful picnic with you. 2. Buy some of your favorite snacks and a movie you like and eat some popcorn up in their room, and 3. Cuddle and fall asleep together. Perfect anniversary plan.

Still super nervous about how it will go, and isn’t the best at speaking to others. Papyrus and Sans may or may not tag along and make it slightly less peaceful and a little less like alone time between the two of you.

If that does happen, it makes the atmosphere somewhat excitable. Geno isn’t the happiest about it, mainly because they really just want to be alone with you and just bathe in each others company, but if you’re enjoying it, they’re enjoying it.

Logically, some things end up backfiring during the anniversary, but it’s the thought that really counts. And for you two, is all that really mattered in the first place.

Error Sans

I don’t see them really caring about anniversaries. But if you’re super into it, they’ll go along with it.

Not really for taking you anywhere? I think they prefer staying in their anti-void and sharing their bean bag with you while watching undernovela (tbh you should’ve seen this coming. come on, it’s error.)

Afterwards, they’ll open a portal to Outertale and you guys can just hang out and watch the stars. Will point out constellations for you and everything. Ink likes to follow you and Error around mostly because he’s genuinely surprised Error managed to get into a relationship with somebody and for this long too! You better bet Ink’s going to make ship art for you guys on your anniversary. Outertale paintings are his specialty., so expect to find a few art pieces near your date spot in Outertale.

Error is mildly embarrassed and flustered when they do find these drawings though.

The kind of monster to make you a tapestry or a plushie of themselves. Not used to giving people gifts so they’ll just throw them out you and scurry away like the rat bastard they are.

The anniversary isn’t remotely well put together but it’s a nice spending it with Error, so it cancels the flaws out.

Fatal Error Sans

He has a vague idea on what an anniversary is supposed to look like. After being in the save screen for so long and then having Error brutally mangle his code, you can imagine just what that shit does to your memory.

You’ll have to bring up the topic of a relationship anniversary for them to even remember that those things exist.

Very busy a lot of the time (killing Papyruses and multiple versions of Swap and piecing their code together to try to make themselves a new brother, yknow the drill) so might not actually even have an anniversary with you.

But you mean the world to him, so if you practically beg him to do something for your anniversary, he will eventually give in.

Again you’re probably gonna have to do a lot of the work. He’ll just go along with whatever you have in mind. He doesn’t mind.

The most they’ll do is steal get some snacks for you.

Might attempt to crochet or knit something for you with his red strings but he’s not that experienced. He’ll definitely learn for you, though.

Most definitely not experienced in the art of romance so be patient with them.

My top ten favorite B7 scenes

B’Elanna/Seven is my current favorite Star Trek ship, so I wanted to make a list of my personal favorite scenes featuring the two of them in Voyager. These scenes aren’t necessarily good (although I do think some of them are), and they’re not necessarily the scenes that provide the best “evidence” for B7 as a ship (which isn’t something I care about all that much to be honest). These are just the scenes that I personally enjoyed and have thought about the most.

10. Someone to Watch Over Me

This episode is terrible, but given how much I’ve thought about this particular scene, I couldn’t not include it. This is the Voyager scene that most clearly demonstrates how obsessed Seven is with B’Elanna and particularly with her romantic relationships. To me personally, this screams oblivious gay crush taking the form of jealous obsession. Obviously, B’Elanna is right and Seven is stepping way out of line here. This is probably the worst thing Seven ever did to B’Elanna and she’s so justified in being mad about it.

9. Survival Instinct

I really enjoy this scene because it’s an example of both B’Elanna and Seven trying to change the adversarial nature of their relationship. B’Elanna is trying to help Seven here even though she has difficulty with her. Seven immediately regrets her defensive response to B’Elanna’s attempted helpfulness. I think it’s interesting to see how the two of them have fallen into a pattern, responding defensively to each other because they’re used to their dynamic being adversarial, when they both theoretically have the capacity to understand each other better than most other people understand either of them.

8. Infinite Regress

The infamous cheek bite scene. Is this scene good? No, probably not. Has it lived in my head rent free since I originally saw it? Yes, absolutely. Technically, you could call this the only intentionally sexually coded Seven/B’Elanna scene in the show. Mostly, the thing I can’t stop thinking about is the two of them joking about it afterward. B’Elanna jokingly asking if this qualifies as their second date… I will think about that line forever.

7. The Voyager Conspiracy

I love everything about this. Seven immediately calling B’Elanna as soon as she thinks she’s found a problem with the ship’s systems regardless of how early it is in the morning. The tone of B’Elanna’s response implying this probably isn’t the first time this has happened. B’Elanna actually investigating the problem even though she’s rightfully irritated at Seven for being so annoying. I love them.

6. Course: Oblivion

It’s so, so easy to interpret this scene as Seven being jealous of Tom’s relationship with B’Elanna. Me when the person I have a crush on just got married: Monogamy is stupid, and it would make way more sense and be better if everyone (you) would have sex with anyone they want to, whenever (me, right now).

5. Human Error

Ignoring my issues with this episode, it’s so interesting how one of Seven’s major attempts to become “more human” is to try to connect to B’Elanna in this way. I think she chose B’Elanna here because she’s someone Seven genuinely wants to connect with at this point in the series, but she still struggles with how to make that connection. Also, I cannot stop thinking about Seven thinking in detail about how B’Elanna does her hair. Given the rest of the scene, I think it makes sense to say that she didn’t choose this question/compliment/terrible flirtation randomly and has genuinely just admired B’Elanna’s hair a lot. Which sure is something. And of course I love B’Elanna’s confusion here. She can tell Seven’s trying really hard to be nice, which is so not like Seven that she can hardly believe it.

4. Message in a Bottle

I love how these two scenes represent both the adversarial tension between B’Elanna and Seven, and the potential ways they could relate to and understand each other with time. B’Elanna is clearly deeply frustrated with Seven, and yet she still tries to explain to Seven why people (not just B’Elanna) are reacting negatively to her. And B’Elanna can obviously relate to being perceived by others as rude, which makes her statement that she doesn’t expect Seven to change overnight, with the subtext that she understands deeply how difficult this situation is for Seven too, really fascinating. Seven initially appearing to ignore B’Elanna and then later saying thank you to her compliment is also great. Also, B’Elanna’s reaction to Seven shocking that guy is so fun.

3. Extreme Risk

This is a short interaction, but it’s so interesting. Seven initially tries to engage in their ordinary adversarial back and forth, but when B’Elanna doesn’t respond in the typical way, immediately asks if something is wrong. I love that Seven is the first person in the episode to notice that there’s something wrong with B’Elanna. It’s so interesting that Seven seems almost disturbed by the lack of any hostility in B’Elanna’s responses and by B’Elanna immediately putting Seven in charge of something she was going to do. I think that, in a way, Seven has grown comfortable with her adversarial dynamic with B’Elanna because it’s familiar. Maybe B’Elanna has grown comfortable with it to, to a certain extent, and her lack of willingness to engage in the typical verbal sparring of their relationship in this episode comes from the same place as her lack of desire to participate in the normal routines of her other relationships. I guess I’m suggesting here that maybe Seven and B’Elanna are both more important to each other than the show explicitly portrays.

2. Hope and Fear

The iconic “we’ll be outcasts together” scene. This is probably the single scene that best illustrates the parallels between Seven and B’Elanna – how both of them have been treated like outcasts and deep down expect to continue to be outcasts forever. How both of them feel deeply ambivalent about belonging – desiring it desperately and yet pushing away from it because they believe they can never have it. Also, B’Elanna’s defensive excuse that she was “joking” two seconds after she realizes she was accidentally way too vulnerable is so good.

1. Imperfection

Thinking about this scene makes me want to scream incoherently, but I’ll try to summarize my main thoughts concisely and analytically. This is probably the scene where B’Elanna and Seven genuinely connect and relate to each other most strongly. B’Elanna understands better than anyone else in this episode what Seven needs, and Seven trusts B’Elanna of all people to ask these questions to, to be vulnerable with in this way. B’Elanna saying that Seven’s made an impact on every member of the crew is… a lot. B’Elanna truly listening to Seven here and understanding what it is that’s bothering her and saying the exact right thing in response. The whole framing of this scene with the close-up shots on faces, the softness in B’Elanna’s voice. Fuck.

Saw your post about Han's ships. My favorite is Minsung withouth a doubt. They just make me so happy. I love how much they just naturally gravitate thowards each other and how much silent communication they have. They really feel like soulmates.

I also need more Jilix, I love them and I need a jilix duet more then I need air. Also there is way too many instances of Jilix being super ready to share a bed in one of the codes and then them not ending up sharing :( - give me jilix bed sharing!!

I do like the other dynamics as well. But those two are my favorites. My interest in the hynjin and seungmin dynamics with Han has been growing [your post about the hynsung with hynjin throwing away han's fake rose and the head pat is still in my head, lol].

There is not enough Han and I.N content, both in the official channel and in the fandom space.

I saw a couple of compilations calling Han the Maknea of 3Racha and you can really see how much they threat Han like their little guy. Does that make sense?

Minsung are amazing, like you mentioned their gravitational pull is truly something spectacular to witness. They're so so fond of each other, it makes me so soft and goey inside. I love how they take care of each other. They really are perfect together, han always indulges every whim lee know has and lee know is so whipped for han, its like he's always falling in love with him by just standing next to him. 🥹💓

Jilix, I think literally everyone is a jilix enjoyer because it's just impossible to see them together and not go awww. I've wanted jisung to do a duet w every member, and I think a jilix one would be amazing. A lot of han's songs, I think he does a really good job with directing felix, like it gives us a new side of him. Also they're always singing together backstage! Get in a booth! I want to see them cuddle in skz code now too, I love seeing their skinship.😔 Its really a relief that those two have each other. Their open affection is so so sweet. A squirrel and a little chick in this big big world, they need to stay together!

I think those are great picks, especially if you want to see cuteness overload.

Hyunsung JSJSJS Topline and I Like It are songs where hyunsung decide to just woo each other hahaha. I think before since hyunjin and hannie were living together I could see them recharging together at home n have an easy thing going which didn't take much thought on their side but now that they do not live together n do not share a literal bathroom together they're probably getting their clingyness quote fulfilled in public haha so we get to witness more of their cuteness.

Seungsung is the most different out of all of hannie's dynamics I think. They respect each other a lot and usually when asked to speak together they compliment each other, but I would also be interested to hear thoughts they have! I think admiration is very big in this dynamic tho. It's funny when I think back to their 2kids show, seungmin remembering when they hung out and han having to really try hard to recall but then seungmin is also quick to tease han in that one skz code with "I didn't miss you" when they'd first split into 2 dorms haha. I think I recall seungmin saying that he didn't know how to open up to same age friends, which makes sense there's a set expectation for how you're supposed to act w older and younger people in kr but same age you kinda I guess get to decide so maybe it's why there's more of trial and error process haha.

3racha: Ah this is a top tier dynamic, Maknae of 3racha, he's truly their baby. Like from everything like making him usually stand in the center, and letting him tease them and ganging up with him to tease the third member but never truly ganging up as binchan on hannie because he's their precious little guy!👏👏👏 I really love it, they respect him, encourage him, acknowledge his talent and then han always returns that respect and encouragement, always modest and saying he learns a lot from them. 3racha has a bond like no other. Perfect trio bound by blood, I love you please do more vlogs together 😭💓.

Jeongsung: I know there needs to be so much more content and hype with these two, ugh. If you know anything about me as a stay, it's that I fucking love jeongsung. There's a couple fanartists and kr stays I have found who tweet about them regularly so if you want more crumbs LET ME KNOW! I think it's one of the dynamics that has a lot to it under the surface of the bit they play up of being I.n denying hannie's kisses hahaha. Like, these 2 used to share a room, much Like han being the group member channie has known the longest, that's also true for I.n. These two have seen each other go through so much so up close!! I think they live for being silly together on stage and offline these two do seem to spend a fair bit of time together but it's not mentioned until months later like "oh we went out to shopping and then" or " l was bored so I called innie over" even in the Australia talker for dominate the first person hannie tries to ring when he was bored was innie 😭 or how innie was the one who took the video of hannie singing in the car for his ig. They keep it lowkey but then out of NOWHERE last year innie thanks hannie in his ending ment for showing him how much strength the words "I love you" can give!? Like. HELLO?! WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME CRY LIKE THIS!!! Anyways, as you can see, I'm very normal about them!!

I'm sorry for this not so mini novel as well, I just love them all especially when they are soft with hannie my heart explodes. All January my mind has been whirring on about binsung and how fun they're, I can't catch a break. I will try to manifest jilix and jeongsung duets for skz records😭😭

Cast Schlatt- Chief Engineer Astro-Captain Mika- Communications Officer Ted- Chief Medical Officer (Doctor) Charlie- 2nd Medical Tucker- Chief Security Officer (“gun guy”) Panda- 3rd Captain Trevor- 2nd Engineer

Cast Overview In Order of Rank Astro (She/They)- Captain of the 99’ Luftram. She’s a bit forgetful and has Panda be more of an assistant to her. She’s great at managing the ship and was originally a Communications Officer before she was noticed by the higherups. Schlatt mentored her and helped her get to where she is today. She keeps her workstation rather clean, and it is decorated with her own merch. Talk about egotistical. Panda (He/Him)- Second in command and Communications Officer of the 99’ Luftram. His workstation is messy compared to Astro’s. He decodes messages that may be sent by their higherups. He won’t tell anyone why the messages are encrypted. He’s a bit standoffish when it comes to his job, but he’s very open about his life. Why are those messages in code… Mika (He/They)- Third in command of the 99’ Luftram. He was a rival with Panda, but still settled for third place. They are a bit of a softer guy. He talks mainly to the Sleep Deprived gang, but he’s had a few conversations with Ted in the medbay, but nothing beyond that. A bit awkward, huh. Tucker (He/Him)- Chief Security Officer of the 99’ Luftram. Some may see him as just a gun guy, and they may be right. He smuggled many weapons onto the ship that have not been cleared. There is a limit to the number of weapons one can have. He does not yet know about this limit. He was originally planning to be a Communications Officer, but ultimately decided against it. He still has the training for Communications, though. Wonder if that means he can decipher the codes… Schlatt (He/Him)- Chief Engineer of the 99’ Luftram. He was a mentor to most people on the ship or at least got them connected with others who could help. He is happy as the Chief Engineer and stays with Trevor most of the time. They share inside jokes from their trips to Japan back on earth. In his spare time, he updates the very outdated equipment, so there aren’t usually any malfunctions or errors on the ship. Usually. Ted (He/Him)- Chief Medical Officer of the 99’ Luftram. Him being a medic may just be a reference to my other fanfic. Besides that, he’s very good at his job. He can handle blood well, but he struggles with stitches and surgery, but he still gets through it. He’s had to stitch up Trevor on multiple occasions. He gets distracted when he isn’t doing something he likes. Does he even like his job? Trevor (He/Him)- 2nd Engineer of the 99’ Luftram. He is Schlatt’s apprentice. He has frequently injured himself working with the rather dangerous equipment stored on the ship. He has taken over 10 trips to the medical bay in just one month before. He’s a bit clumsy, but still has access to the engineering control panel to the whole ship along with Schlatt, so he can be trusted after all…? Charlie (He/They)- Second Medical personnel. He can handle surgery better than Ted, so after a LOT of training, Charlie does most of the stitches, with not so careful overview from Ted. He has been tempted to take some of the medbay’s depressants but didn’t in the end. He knows where they are though, just in case. Just in case.

Grogu had overheard his dad speaking with Jedi Seb and was glad the two humans had found something to kind of bond over, but did Din Djarin forget the plot? They were supposed to go to Mandalore to go fishing! Not to Naboo. That was just a stop to pick up parts for the N-1. 

Although, fishing on Naboo would probably be a lot more fun than fishing on Mandalore. Certainly, Mandalore had promised to be exciting in that regard. The planet may have been partially glassified by the Imperium and Moff Gideon in particular, but Mandalore had giant aquatic critters and that was worth investigating.  On the other hand, Naboo had at least seven species of Scale fish and that promised a lot of educational opportunities.  Jedi lived for educational opportunities according to all of his former masters. 

Realizing the two humans were probably never going to stop talking about their children, which was weird when one of them was right there in front of them, Grogu decided to take the controls into his own hands and jumped out of his dad’s arms and over to Thirty. Maybe the little mech could help him re-direct the conversation. 

“Grogu certainly seems to like mechs. Another trait he shares with my daughter. I suppose he’d like us to focus on the problem at hand?”

At least Jedi Seb understood what Grogu wanted. 

“Yes. I wanted to go to Mandalore to track down information on a suit of Mandalorian Armor that was ‘gifted’ to me. I promised to take him fishing there. We were just packing up our N-1 starfighter and it threw an error code. Apparently the part we need to fix the malfunction is on Naboo… maybe. It can’t be flown until that’s been sorted out.”

Thirty began to chirp and beep and signal Grogu that it might have a solution. Grogu chirped back at it as his dad and Jedi Seb fell silent, just watching the two of them go back and forth. When they finished talking, Grogu couldn’t help but grin. Apparently Thirty was convinced that it could repair the part and that Jedi Seb’s daughter could fix the ship. He couldn’t wait to tell his dad.

He turned to face the two men, who suddenly seemed more alike than different from each other, which Grogu found odd, and coo’d to get their attention. To no avail. Something else was going on that took their attention away from him and the mech. 

As he followed their gaze, he saw two people enter the docking space. One was very clearly a Mandalorian. The full suit of armor was a complete give away. Lacc Straso. His dad’s friend was back and he’d brought someone with him. A tall human male who seemed to exude happiness and had short curly hair. He was wearing a simple mechanic’s coverall and a pair of sturdy work boots. No weapons. No armor. He wasn’t a fighter of any sort, but Grogu sensed that he had seen or met this young man before, but he couldn’t put his finger on where or when that might have happened. 

Jedi Seb walked right over to them and pulled the young man into a tight hug. He would have asked Seb who the young man was, but he was interrupted by Lacc Straso scooping him up and walking him over to his dad. 

“I didn’t expect to see you so soon, Djarin. And your boy as well. What’s going on?”

Typical Mandalorian, just getting right to business. Too bad Grogu’s dad hadn’t done that earlier. 

“I’ve got a problem with the N-1 and was hoping you could bring me to Naboo to look for the parts I need. I can pay you for your trouble.”

Din Djarin was clearly trying to get his goal accomplished, but didn’t realize yet that Grogu and Thirty had a better solution. He squeaked at both men to try and get their attention. It didn’t work. Again.

“Excuse me, did you say you have an N-1 starfighter? Is it near by? Could I take a look at it?”

The young man’s voice cut through everything and Grogu was about to scold the him for interrupting, when Jedi Seb began to laugh. 

“Hold on Dag. Let me introduce you first. Dagon, I’m pleased to introduce you to Din Djarin, Mandalorian Bounty Hunter, and his son Din Grogu, former Jedi youngling and currently a Mandalorian apprentice.  Gentlemen, this is my son, Dagon Jade, pod racer and mechanic extraordinaire.”

Seb was grinning and Dagon seemed a bit embarrassed, but Grogu was over the moon with happiness and jumped out of Lacc’s arms to Dagon. He’d heard of the young pod racer and was overwhelmed to meet him. Not many humans were successful in that career due to their size and nervous systems, but everyone on Tatooine had heard of Dagon Jade. 

“You’re Dagon Jade? Grogu is a great fan of yours. I don’t mind showing you the N-1, but do you all really have the time for that? It’s on the other side of Mos Eisley.”

Grogu could have laughed out loud at his dad, but he was too caught up in admiring his pod-racing hero. He had so much to talk to him about and so many questions and of course they had time to show him the N-1. How could they not? If Dagon Jade wasn’t worthy to see the ship, who was? 

“My apologies. I live in Mos Kadhus, so I have plenty of time to take a look at it, but that doesn’t mean you have time to show it to me. My enthusiasm got the best of me. I had no idea anyone had one of them operational.”

Dagon replied promptly and Grogu was just too thrilled by his new best friend. Such a polite young man. Jedi Seb had done a good job raising him.

“It’s fine. I’m just trying to get it fixed. A part failed and the closest place to get one is Naboo. I was just hoping Lacc could take me there so I could sort it all out.”

The Mandalorian explained as he removed Grogu from Dagon’s arms.  He supposed his dad was a bit jealous at how obviously thrilled Grogu was to meet such an important person on Tatooine. The fact that Dagon was Jedi Seb’s son was just more gorgs in the pot. A wonderful thing.

“Well, if you don’t mind, Seb was joking. I am a pretty good mechanic. I’d be happy to take a look at it and see if I can fabricate the part you need and uh… it seems like Thirty would like to add something to this conversation.”

Dagon spoke to them all, as Grogu noticed Thirty waving its tool controllers and beeping a rapid set of information to them all. 

“Well, Seb, what does the mech want?”

Lacc asked as no one else translated the beeps and boops. 

“I gather Thirty believes that he, Grogu, and Dagon can fix the ship. Thirty says this is a common failure mode for the N-1 and he’s repaired this problem before. I will say, this little mech led a very different life before we picked it up on Jakku all those years ago. It may be from Naboo for all I know.”

Grogu laughed at that. He knew another mech that had spent time on Naboo. He wondered if Thirty and R2-D2 had ever met and the kind of stories they would tell each other if they had a chance. The Force seemed to like bringing old friends back together. He wouldn’t be a bit surprised if his old friend Ian was the next person to walk into that docking space. Stranger things had already happened.

“I guess that means we’re going to visit Peli Motto and give you a tour of the N-1.”

Din Djarin commented to the group, causing Grogu to emit a clearly heard and understood ‘Yippee!’. This was going to be fun!

What's the origin of your blog's title?

It is the same as my bungo username and the reason for that is simple! Back when Bungie gave players a free name change, I decided it would be funny to name myself this due to the downright stupid amount of times that Taniks (or some form of Taniks, cough cough nightmare Taniks cough cough) has been brought back only for the guardians to get him again.

Favorite Fandoms:

Off the top of my head, I’d have to say Destiny, Transformers, The Dragon Prince, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and damn near everything Andy Weir has written(The Martian, my beloved. Along with Project Hail Mary, currently reading Artemis)

OTP(S) + shipname:

I don’t have any personal oc ships but in terms of Destiny, I. Love. Many of the relationships already in there. Such as Drifteris and Saintsiris.

Favorite Color:

I personally like red, especially when paired with black.

Favorite Game:

I can’t pin it down on any one thing but my most beloved games would have to be Destiny 2, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (along with Black Flag), and Minecraft!

If you could have any job you wish what would it be?

I’ve always wanted to be a video game developer, especially in regards to narrative. That’s mainly due to the fact of what the narrative team at Bungie have created, like how was I supposed to read ‘Hope is a currency. It buys tomorrow. It gives us what we need to survive today.’ And not go insane thinking about it. I’ve always wanted to create something like that for other gamers.

But besides that, I’d say getting error-coded while in the middle of a raid with friends on Destiny. Yeah that’s something that I’m pretty sure is hated universally.

Transformers legos! I’ve only recently started it to the point where I only have less than five but I’m happy with what I have so far! I also like to collect Destiny 2 merch. I’ve got some shirts and a jacket right now!

What's your love language?

I’m a firm believer that everyone needs at least a little bit of each love language. Of course, it varies in volume and from whom you are receiving it from. I think my the biggest one I like getting is physical touch! I love hugs, give me all of the hugs.

Favorite movie/show:

Favorite movie is definitely a tie between Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and Across The Spider-Verse. My favorite show might have to be Young Justice! Either that or Arcane, or Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. It’s hard to choose!

Favorite food:

Easily my dad’s smoked steak, I swear each and every time I take a bite into that stuff, it’s like I’m tasting heaven itself.

Favorite animal:

Gotta go with both wolves, bears, and owls!

Are you musical?

Oh absolutely, I really should take a video of myself killing it at any karaoke. Besides that, I love me a good musical. Personal favorites are Hamilton and The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals.

I’ve always loved theatre classes!

Gonna have to go with science, that was a field I definitely struggled in.

I don’t read a lot of fanfics. But there are some posts by u/RewsterSause on Reddit’s r/DestinyJournals that I love to read. Rewster is one talented writer!

In TADW had science characters? Have NPC seen bugs(glitch) in world? Do they try do maps and learn/open other bioms? Have they tried build ships, planes etc?

Yup yup.

In terms of glitches:

There's a whole area that teaches you how to deal with errors and broken codes. Some NPCS are trained to detect these glitches and repair them if possible.

If the bug is affecting a bigger part of the map or the functioning of the world as a whole, Caine or Able take care of that.

Only Caine or Able have the power to create new Biomes. Everything regarding creating something new is their duty. NPCS just have the power to manipulate already existing things with "magic" (assuming they go to the academy, not everyone does)

Biomes and building stuff:

People in Woodland (people made out of wood) tends to be more drawn to explore the nature of the world they live in. There's a reason why Kinger is so interested in insects.

In terms of building ships, planes, etc. that's usually done by the Geometrics. Even though they usually build their own stuff with plastic, they can pretty much use any material to build stuff, they like doing that.

We Are Connected: Chapter 1: Discovery

It had been quiet for a few days. There had been no distress signals for a while now, making Keith on edge. Almost all the Paladins were on edge. This was normally the calm before the storm. Keith looked out towards the stars. Shiro walked up to his friend.

"You okay?" He asked. Keith glanced at Shiro before looking back at the stars.

"It's been too quiet for a couple days now. It's making me on edge." He said. Shiro smiled and placed a hand on Keith's shoulder.

"We can take this time to rest. Just because it's quiet, doesn't mean it's a bad thing." Shiro said, smiling. Keith sighed and relaxed a little.

"Yeah. I guess." He said. The other Paladins entered the main deck of the ship, walking over to the two. Hunk sighed.

"Man! It's nice to be able to relax! We're not having to form Voltron, not having to take down any Galra. This is nice." He said. Pidge nodded.

"Yeah. I've gotten time to create and algorithm that would, within a statistically acceptable margin of error," Pidge started, pushing up her glasses. "Provide a list of target-rich Galra environments, color-coded, of course, because what are we, animals?" Pidge said. The others looked at her like she was speaking another language. Pidge's smile fell and her shoulders dropped. "In simpler terms, I made a Galra finder." She said. She really wished that her team members understood the complexity of science like she did. It would make things much easier to explain. Lance's eyes widened.

"Oh cool! This will make taking down the Galra much easier!" He stated. Allura was scanning through the solar system, making sure that they hadn't missed any distress signals in the past few days. She scrolled past something that made her look again. She zoomed in and her eyes widened.

"It, can't be." She said to herself, catching the ears of everyone else. Shiro walked over.

"What is it, Princess?" He asked. Allura immediately called for Coran, who entered through the doors.

"You needed my assistance, Princess?" Coran asked. Allura looked over at him like she had seen a ghost.

"Can you come look at this? I think my eyes are deceiving me." She said. Coran walked over and looked at the planet she was focused on. Coran stood there for a moment, then, his eyes widened.

"Y-You aren't seeing things, Princess. That is Pandora." He said. The Paladins looked at the two Alteans in confusion. Lance tilted his head.

"What's Pandora? Does it have cute ladies?" He asked. He was then elbowed in the side by Pidge. Clearly, whatever the two were looking at, it was a serious thing. Allura turned to the Paladins.

"Pandora is home to the Na'Vi. They're an alien species with excellent fighting skills. They have been one of Alteas' greatest allies for many decafeebs." Allura explained. Coran turned to them.

"We thought that Pandora had been eradicated, just like Altea." He said. Allura nodded.

"Their Chief, Aengtew, and his mate, Seäumni, were very good friends of my father's," she explained. She turned to Coran.

"Coran, do you think it might be possible to pay them a visit? It has been a while since I've seen Pandora." She said. Coran nodded.

"It shouldn't be a problem. Though, you do have to remember, Princess. It has been ten thousand years. Things may have changed a great deal." He said. The Princess sighed and nodded.

"I know." She said. Her smile returned and she looked at the Paladins. "We could think of this as training!" She said. "Like the Olkari, the Na'Vi believe that everything is connected. They believe that everything has the same energy. Seäumni once told me, that all energy is only borrowed. And someday, you must return that energy." She said. The Paladins looked at each other. They all nodded. Shiro looked at the two Alteans.

"Why not. It seems like a good learning experience. Plus, if there are any Galra there, we can form Voltron and protect the people." He said. Allura smiled and nodded.

"Then to Pandora we go." She said. Thus, began an adventure the Paladins would never forget.

Introduction

Hello there! My name online is unagidevi but please refer to me as Devion, Devi or Dev. Often people use Devi or Dev for short as it is easier and shorter to type. I have high-function autism, ADHD, and short-term memory. I like the color green and I have many, many pets. I also like Gacha and Art, as I do both as well as writing and animation. I'm a big fan with making my own OCs and I really like Dreamswap even if the creator is a little shaky. My birthday is August 21st.

I usually add my own spin onto Dreamswap characters like Dream now is a brunette otherwise he looks like a highlighter as well as other designs being altered. I don't stick to one ship, I ship multiple things.

Often for my art I use Gacha Club for reference and hues in my artwork, as of currently the tints. I play the Sims 3 mostly and I have around 6-7 expansions for it with no regret. Umbrella Academy is one of my favorite medias due to the story-building and characters in it.

I have a few AUs I own myself, some are: Dreamsleep and Ampletale. Despite Ampletale having barely any content here it is being reworked and redesigned while Dreamsleep has an entire story and such.
