Well, my dear anon,

From the knowledge that I have about vampires, I can tell you this:

Sires hold more power over their fledgling.

No matter how much time passes or what type of relationship they have. There is always going to be this power imbalance.

Why?

The Sire is not only physically stronger (at least at first), but they also have more knowledge, they're older and "wiser", and the responsibility of being a guide throughout this new form of life falls on his shoulders

Because of this, the relationship between fledging and Sire is usually one of reverential fear.

This (in my opinion) doesn't go well with the type of relationship that Ink and Error have.

I think we collectively forget why the Errorink ship was and still is so popular. And one, but not the only reason is the equal playing field.

We could argue that Error is more powerful than Ink or viceversa, but even if this was true, both of them hold the other cryptonite.

Error snatch souls, ink doesn't have one.

Error lives in a white space, wich is a place Ink would never go.

And both are practically indestructible and immortal outcodes.

ALSO, the way they're portrayed in the fandom as this yin and yang bond. The opposites that need each other existence to survive contribute to this balance in their relationship. No one can overpower the other.

That is also why both are vampires but are not linked together yet (there are other reasons that i hope to clear on the comics)

Guide: I am aware their username was tehgreatrogueblog or something of the like but I'll correct my mistake later.

They were hit by the p*rn ban back in the day. Sadly, about 60 of Being X's links are made useless. At one point, I believe The Orb salvaged some of thegreatrogue's work but it took so long going through all the reblogs it was scrapped.

They did have some horny content but most of it was very cutesy.

For example, their blog featured a short series of wolf cross. They had Afterdeath, ErrorFresh, ErrorInk, High School AUs too.

Though, the Museum's favorite is their Vampireverse series that featured: Encre (alt Ink), Jasper (alt Paper Jam), Suave (alt Fresh), Fallacy (alt Error), Azure (alt Blue), and some version of Underfell Sans who name started with an R like Rufus but I can't remember for sure. It was set an in a medieval AU where Fallacy was the Lord of a castle with his child Paperjam, Suave (butler) and house staff (alt Frisk, Chara, misc monsters). All of the staff except for Suave were vampires while Encre was a painter, Azure a member of the guard, and Rufus a blacksmith.

Most of the comic revolved around shipping Encre x Fallacy or Suave x Jasper. I believe I remember Fallacy kidnapping Encre sometimes which was fun. There might have been shipping between Azure and Rufus but I can't remember.

Thegreatrogue also had also did some Swap Error and Ink called Eraser and Reboot. We're not sure if that's their own version of the Sanses or if it was based on someone else's.

PaperFresh (Paperjam x Fresh) was their most prominent ship. It was mostly contained to the NAJ au aka "nerd and jock."

DUB: Glasses / Mirror Confession / Kiss High

It involved a mixture of kissing, high school style couples courting, comfort/hurt, lots of flirting and with a healthy dose of memes mixed in.

Guide: I don't remember there being so much wolf based AUs.

Another ship that was prominent featured was Poth (Goth x Palette). Unfortunately, the part 1 link is broken so it may be deleted or gone.

At the end of Being X's notes, there's also several reblogged deactivated blogs that ze tried to save. It's truly unfortunate. Even in 2019 when the majority of this "Behind the Stacks" exhibits were collected, it had only been 4 years post the game's release and there were already blogs deactivating. Truly a shame.

By Hawkhorn I was originally curious about the ship here, but the more I read the more I felt drawn to the plot itself. Are there any secret supernatural elements to any of the main characters, like is ink still soulless?

Yes! Nightmare, who isn't a creature of the night like a vampire and such, actually does have a curse in this story. She turns into a black cat during full moons, as when she was younger she was seen as a bad omen. Who cursed her? No body knows yet...

Dream has an aura still! Her presence is very soothing only to creatures like the vampires and basilisks, hence why she is able to ease Cross' wrath and calm him down so easily.

- Je n'arrive pas à croire que tu l'ai laissé dormir ici alors que Papercut est désormais assez vieux pour ça. Tu veux qu'il se retrouve lié à ce parasite! A un pervers aux aguets? Qu'il ait des gosses avec lui? A cet âge? Je refuse d'être un papy avant l'heure. Je suis trop jeune!

Le destructeur sortit du lit "Je vais vérifier qu'il est toujours sur le canapé!"

Error sortit de son lit "Je vais vérifier qu'il est resté sur le canapé!" Et il attrapa un pantalon, l'enfilant d'une pichenette de magie, avant de sortir, refermant derrière lui.

Il marcha dans le couloir, vérifiant les dessous de porte. Pas de lumière sous celle de Papercut. Il écouta, la cavité auditive collée au bois. Rien. Rien du tout. Aucun bruit. Son abruti de frère n'était pas silencieux, au moins on le voyait et on l'entendait venir de loin.

C't'abruti de Unfresh déclenchait des envies de meurtres même chez son original Fresh.

Ce qui n'était pas peu dire pour un Fell!

Il se dirigea vers les escaliers pour vérifier si le salon était toujours occupé. Silence. Une odeur de fumée parvint à sa cavité nasale. Il ouvrit la porte d'un coup, "On ne fumes pas dans le salon!" s'écria-t-il.

Le mégot était dans le cendrier.

Error se figea. Et se téléporta dans le couloir du premier étage. La salle de bain était éclairée. Il entra d'un coup. Unfresh se retourna, torse nu, les os dégoulinants et une serviette autour de la nuque.

Son cadet cligna des pupilles, celles-ci devenant des cœurs roses avant de revenir blanches "Tu vois pas que j'suis occupé?

La pensée des bras de son cher et tendre le tenta mais il fallait mettre les points sur les i. Histoire d'être sûr et certain. Histoire de ne pas se faire avoir par son abruti de cadet!

Son fils se redressa brusquement sortit de son la couverture "QUOI? TU VEUX QUOI?"' Il était planqué sous sa couette, avec un livre et une lampe de poche. Des couleurs s'étendaient sur ses os sombres "Tu peux pas frapper. Et t'as vu l'heure qu'il est?

- Je peux te dire la même chose!" Signala Error "Tu devrais dormir Fils." Il fronça les 'sourcils'. Et signala tout d'un coup. "Qu'est-ce que tu lis? En plein milieu de la nuit'. Il eut un sourire mesquin et narquois "Quelque chose de coquin? Vilain garçon.

Papercut se figea soudain. "Hey comment ça ton frangin?" exigea-t-il, soudain intéressé. Mais la porte s'était déjà refermé sur son géniteur. Qui se montrait incroyablement protecteur de soir, il voulait gagner des points avec son âme-soeur ou quoi? (où étaient ses boules quiès?)

Il haussa les épaules "Bah quelque part, ça m'étonne même pas. Sont aussi tordus l'un que l'autre." Et c'était le cas de le dire. Un destructeur, un parasite et un type devenu (reine) consort du dieu de la mort.

Il pensa à ce qu'il venait d'entendre, et aux autres paroles de son père. Il cligna des yeux. " En fait, ça me donne une raison de plus de l'éclater si il vient dans ma chambre." réalisa-t-il, ravi. Il grogna "Et je peux plus dormir maintenant moi. Merci père."

Sauf que Error avait décidé d'être chiant.

Genre vraiment.

Et une heure plus tard il entra dans la chambre de son fils dans un HAHA sonore. Papercut tomba du lit, se mangeant rudement le sol. "Mais qu'est-ce que tu fous bordel? J'avais enfin réussit à dormir et à chasser tes conneries de ma tête."

Son père s'approcha et souleva le lit de ses câbles, faisant glapir le jeune squelette.

"Sérieux, Unfresh va pas se cacher sous..."

Père et fils regardèrent sous le lit.
