this is your reminder that while I always tell everyone they can drop threads, not continue asks, take their time, and so on, at the moment I'm perfectly okay with everyone continuing as many asks as they want, replying to open starters etc. For now July is productive because I'm supposed to be doing other things!
Next month things may change but as long as we are chill we have nothing to worry about! I have about fifty threads but they don't get replied every day/week so I can still keep adding!
(obviously as long as you are also okay with me dropping threads if needed in the future, August won't be as forgiving)
#also obviously if you want insta threads and I'm online I'm your gal#especially shippy things after I've been deprived for too long lol you WILL NOT be bothering me with those I promise

What is lucid's romantic and sexual orientation? Does he like women? Or just men?
From what I’ve learned from Lucid as he’s grown as a character, I’m feeling more certain that he is either Panromantic or Bi-romantic, and demisexual. He’s displayed an interest in men more than women, but I wouldn’t dismiss the possibility that he could love women. Lucid has had more positive chemistry and relationship building with men.
The women that have expressed interest in him romantically have either done so through baiting or heavily pushing themselves onto him (or in one case severally traumatizing him and then expecting Lucid to be needy and seek comfort from that toxic situation). Which is off-putting to not only Lucid, but also the mun. It greatly sours my mood and shuts down the possibility of shipping on the spot.
Basically, Lucid and mun have yet to experience an interaction with a potential shippable woman muse where an agenda was not present from the get-go. Or communication for that matter on discussing a potential ship (with the exception of the toxic interaction but that person was called out by others for some serious abusive behavior and thankfully left the fandom).
#(it’s not to say he can’t ship with women. just a bad repetitive score with women muses. especially ocs)#(which low and behold I too have a female Oc in the HH/HB fandom)#(but unfortunately its interactions and pushing like them that gives OCs in general a bad rep)#(the mun is heavy chemistry. the two main people i ship with? it took 2 months at min for me to go ‘yeah I see the ship. let’s do it!’)#(I am not an insta shipper. I don’t see a muse and go ‘Gd I wanna smut that!’)#(I value interactions and relationship building to test chemistry over MULITPLE threads)#(and by thread 2 or 3 at the latest is when people are shoving their muses on lucid romantically. if not the first thread)#(waiting around and doing that build is not for everyone and that’s fine. there’s tons of other rpers that will reciprocate immediately)#mun answers#shipping answers#relationships answers#headcanons: make it so

Ahhhh!!!! Hi all I’m Kim or better known as the Asexual Goddess. I’ve been on YouTube for about 10+ years and I used to inform people about Ace and Aro terms cause I’m kinda a nerd. I LOVEEEEEEEE comics and all things comic related and always have, so I tried to transition over from strictly Black AroAce Activist to Black AroAce Comic Artist cause I feel like I can reach more people that way. (But I feel like once you’re one thing in peoples eyes especially non-POC you get stuck with that label)
I see you all sharing SoulAce Day around and I’m so happy to see my baby Trauma being the face of it. She’s a good character I promise. Honestly I wish I had made the Knightmare with the Ace flag behind her one sooner but I can always use that one next year!
I have a webcomic on Webtoons called Willow & the Family Ace if you want to see more of these characters. If you have questions please feel free to ask ILOVE YAPPING about my OCs. The name Willow & the Family Ace comes from Sly & the Family Stone, I love the diversity and it reminds me of my cast of characters being pushed together for one thing they call share in common. So there’s a-little Black History in the name too!
im so glad I found this space, and I’ll be sure to see if I can get Marshall to come thru too!!!!!
Some Links to find me:

idk my thoughts on a certain celeb coming to tumblr is if ur posting something about the celeb u wouldn’t want them to see (ie. RPF) do not post it at all! that is a real person with a life u are posting about! if you don’t want that real person reading that work and forming an opinion maybe it isn’t for the public eye to read.
i don’t think it’s fair to say tumblr isn’t a place for celebrities especially when they’re just people who use social media, i think people just need to learn decorum when their blorbo joins social media
come off anon and say you want shawn and other celebrities on tumblr with your chest! quickly!
fandom/fan culture might be about them but it is not for them. there are sooo many other platforms (insta, twitter, threads, blue sky, and even tiktok now) for people to interact with their fans. tumblr is different—not that kind of place and never has been. there’s a reason that you see stuff on tumblr that you won’t see on twitter or instagram. there’s also a reason that there’s never been a an influx of famous people hurrying to create a tumblr account. because there’s a LINE that most people on both sides aren’t interested in crossing.
fandom, specifically on tumblr, is a place where many people join to analyze, celebrate, discuss, and create art about a character that means something to them WITHOUT interference, critique, or opinion from an outside force such as celebrities, mainstream ideologies, or journalism. and without algorithm being shoved in faces (at least, up until recently.)
also about the pitt specifically—i’ve not seen one rpf post. maybe i’m just missing it but that’s not what my argument is about concerning shawn on tumblr. at all.
i can only speak to fics specifically, and i know that a lot of writers on here do it because they don’t see themselves represented in the stories already told. or they’re exploring what the original media didn’t—or exploring what they did in a different way.
imo, you’re seriously underestimating the importance of this space, what it means to people, and that really pisses me off </3
#anon#just because YOU might want to talk to him in tumblr dms doesn’t mean other people want to lmao#we continue to lose the plot!!#shawn hatosy#the pitt#fandom discussion

Reasons Tommy/Buck&Tommy aren’t going away (yet);
- The 911 insta followed Lou, and they only follow mains and people who are reoccurring (and reoccur a lot)
- They also have posted two BuckTommy posts recently, showcasing them as an official couple of the show
-Both the things above have happened in the past week, whilst they’re filming ep 8 and finishing writing 9&10 which to me suggests Tommy will be in at least one of those eps.
- Tim keeps calling it a love story and a romcom, I highly doubt he’d end that after three and a bit eps. Especially after how it’s been built up.
-Oliver said that Buck and Tommy have some getting to know each other but he also said him and Lou do too. That they need to build these relationships- doesn’t sound like it’s going anytime soon.
- Lou said he was pitched an initial arc, which is normally 4 eps, but that doesn’t mean the arc can’t be extended. Especially when the reception is as good as it has been- and also they needed the wiggle room incase it was received poorly.
- Oliver also said he’d like Tommy to stay around, regardless of what happens but also said he’d like to continue their story in a similar thread to Tarlos.
-Tim and Oliver talk a lot about getting Buck off the hamster wheel, and I think him staying in a LTR would be the final part of that. Otherwise he’s still kind of on it, where he gets in and out of relationships without settling for a bit.
-This one is half joking, but Lou keeps mentioning the fact 9-1-1 has a s8 totally unprovoked 😂
#BuckTommy#just to reassure those who think Tommy will be gone too soon#I mean personally I’m not fussed if he stays forver lol#but yeah I think he’s here for longer and so is there relationship#also stuff he says in the cameos if you read i between the lines#like it’s hard fo fully tell cuz he kinda contradicts himself but I’m pretty confident#and if I’m wrong? well I’m wrong lol#Leah rambles

Joon's new collab only spent 1 day on the global chart; it didn't debut on the weekly chart, which is sad because the song is really good and deserved more. Meanwhile, ARMYs aren't even talking about the way the song was treated because they're blinded by hate because of the AMA's and spreading all over social media about supporting the leader and that he deserves his flowers and trying to convince people not to vote for Jimin, embarrassing themselves in the official AMA's post when they're posting about all the nominees. Do they really think this makes sense? The industry is always watching BTS' fandom. People see what they're doing in this AMAs case because they're making a point of being loud. Everything is so pathetic. I'll never forget that time Tetris made a video for billboard about BTS members' Christmas songs during the release of that collab at the end of last year, and they even made threats against him (as always supporting the narratives of the solos who love to invent absurd things to make their fav seem "saboteged"). I remember Tetris saying something about how journalists are afraid to even mention anything about BTS and the members because of these crazy reactions. The industry is always watching.
Anyway, let's focus on Jimin. Let's do our best now on the last day of SMA voting and the last days of AMA's voting. Keep streaming too, so Jimin can get back on the global artist chart and increase Who streams. Let's give him the world and so much more.
The song was very good. I’ve found myself going back to listen to it. Like idk how they don’t feel shitty about that. Especially when that song was so personal. Armys really just streamed it once and wiped their asses with it.
But it’s really them on insta threads talking about how the AMAs is showing favoritism and how it looks like they’ve already chosen a winner. Mind you they posted about Rosé first and Ateez before they even announced Jimin. 😭
Like the cognitive dissonance of it all… They should be the very last people talking about any kind of fairness.
The AMAs account posts sporadically on different days for every nominee which means Joon will most likely get a tweet. If armys could they’d zap the existence of Jimin even being nominated from everybody’s memory they would cause they’ve been trying their damndest to do that anyway. And even with there barely being any armys in the rts his tweet still has the highest engagement out of all of AMAs posts with 1M impressions and almost 20k likes. I know they’re sick. lmao.
#wonder what they’d do if someone decided to write an article#but I feel like those days of reporters reporting on every little things armys do are long gone#giving very much hasbeens

Intentional Touch, Respected Space: A By-Episode Study, Part 2
This is the space where their love grows in safety.
S1E2: Crush
[Note: My longest and giffy-est post yet, but episode 2 is nothing short of monumental in the Narlie relationship. Grab a cuppa, a few biscuits, settle in, and enjoy!]
When we pick up with episode two, Nick and Charlie are in their private spaces, both trying to process the events of the day. Charlie does this by playing the drums and likely engaging in some very negative and circular thought patterns. Nick, meanwhile, is busy integrating this new knowledge of Charlie’s life experience with Nick’s previous, less nuanced perception of him. He’s trying to get a more complete picture of Charlie, to understand more deeply how this part of Charlie’s life affects the rest of it and makes him who he is. Of course he turns to the internet first, because Nick. We get the sense that maybe Nick has never really looked at Charlie’s Insta, based on how charmed he is by the first few lighthearted posts he sees. Then he comes across Charlie’s post succinctly expressing his hatred for school and his horrible experiences there.
This triggers a flood of memories of comments Nick had heard made about Charlie around the time he was outed the year before. While it’s highly unlikely that Nick hasn’t thought about this at all in the time he’s gotten to know Charlie, perhaps it’s been mostly background noise, or at least somewhat removed from his own experiences with Charlie. After witnessing Ben’s psychological and physical assault on Charlie, these memories have new profundity, clarity, and a terrible nearness. And they bring with them some delayed and misplaced guilt; now that Nick knows Charlie personally, he knows he would have done something about the past bullying if he’d had the chance. This is the wholeness of understanding Nick wants, even if it is uncomfortable and distressing, and with it comes a pressing concern for Charlie’s well-being. Nick feels an intense need to check in, so he does.
Of course it must be noted that Charlie made the virtual check-in leap first, after a bout of classic Charlie Spring overthinking. Justified overthinking in this case, since Charlie is highly aware that, immediately after he and Nick were pushed across boundaries in their friendship by the confrontation with Ben, he’s stepping over another line by adding texting to the mix. At the risk of getting a bit too meta, I’ll say this counts as an intentional, if virtual, touch. It’s a point of contact, reaching across the space between them, and though there’s an asynchrony to this form of touch, it’s still a new type of closeness for Nick and Charlie. It’s clear that they have not exchanged messages before, so by establishing this connection Charlie moves their communication from school-based and public to online and private. It doesn’t seem like a big deal on the face of it, but it is; it’s a pebble dropped in a pond that starts a flood.
Especially when Nick decides to reciprocate. Another thing we have to note here is that, in direct contrast to Ben’s rapid-fire, aggressive texts with Charlie, Nick gives Charlie time to respond. He respects that space between them, the room Charlie needs to emotionally maneuver and figure out how much he wants to tell Nick about Ben. Only when his uneasiness over Charlie's silence grows too great does he follow up on his original question, and even then, he continues to respect the space. He acknowledges Charlie’s right to keep things to himself, and simply offers a confirmation of his friendship, reiterating to Charlie that he is safe and trustworthy, and then leaving Charlie to decide on his own.
Charlie chooses to trust and share.
This new thread of connection snaps taut between them, and it never loosens again.
There now exists an increased ease between Nick and Charlie. When Nick invites Charlie to his house (ostensibly to meet Nellie), Charlie's posture is clearly relaxed and just slightly curled toward Nick, while Nick’s invitation is delivered easily and with no hesitation. Now, not only do they have private online conversation, they also have time together away from the social confines of school, time that belongs only to them. Another boundary is removed, that space between them narrowed just a bit more.
After requisite “hi”s have been exchanged and Nellie has been given the attention she rightfully deserves, Nick practically flings himself across the intentional touch divide. Charlie’s had a haircut (has he though? I’m with Tori on this one), and Nick reaches out, across the open doorway, to gently tug at Charlie’s curls. Charlie is obviously surprised, pleased, and a little confused. But this is a clear indicator from Nick, and a fairly clear acceptance from Charlie, that this kind of playful touch now falls within the bounds of their friendship. While there's a lot going on here for Nick as he realizes he does, in fact, notice aspects of Charlie's physical appearance and have strong enough reactions to them to both have and offer an opinion, he is not intentionally flirting with this gesture any more than Charlie is by asking nervously if the haircut is bad. Any flirting here is accidental or subconscious; they're still maintaining that caring respect for each other.
After Nick lists (just a few, it must be said) of Charlie’s positive qualities, Charlie mirrors Nick’s earlier playfulness with some of his own, covering Nick’s mouth with his hand and pushing him down on the bed. This could easily have become a more heated moment for Charlie, but it doesn’t, in part because Charlie is still incredibly conscious of the space required by their differing vantage points on the relationship. He uses only one hand, the other still grasping the video game controller and held down by his side; he looks at Nick's face only for a brief second before diverting his gaze; and he lets Nick push him off easily. Still, this is a freer Charlie than we’ve seen thus far, a Charlie who understands that, crush and romantic feelings aside, he’s found someone he can be himself with, and with whom he can safely express some affection, even if he has to keep the larger part of it concealed. Nick is surprised but responds in kind, equally playful with a huge smile and laughing “get off me!” (though notably slow to actually physically push Charlie away). His face clearly shows delight in witnessing a side of Charlie he hasn’t seen before, and these moments of casual but respectful touch have played a part in that.
Then comes the snow, and possibly the sweetest montage of the whole season. Here is a place where they can bring joy and easy openness into that safe, respected space between them. We get a glimpse of Nick brushing snow out of Charlie’s hair, shoving snow into the neck of Charlie’s coat, and flopping down to make a snow angel close enough to Charlie to brush his arm. Charlie’s delighted surprise is a little more nuanced, because the beginnings of hope are making themselves known, and there's a little bit of speculation in the way he views Nick's actions.
Despite Nick’s clear comfort with Charlie’s nearness (only Nellie separates them in this final scene, and Nick’s upper arm is crossed over Charlie’s while they talk in the snow), Charlie is still a bit more restrained—he doesn’t initiate much of this contact. He’s conscious of the fact that touch still means something slightly different, slightly more, to him than it does to Nick, so he generally allows Nick to choose when to use intentional touch.
While Nick’s conversation with his mom later isn’t about touch, I do think it’s there in the subtext. Sarah tells Nick he seems more himself around Charlie, so we have to conclude that she’s at least partly referencing the relaxed playfulness Nick experiences with Charlie (which is absent or at least different from his interactions with the rugby lads, with whom Nick is always aware, on some level, of the persona he is expected to present in that environment). Nick’s default setting is physical affection, but he’s been holding back all this time. With Charlie, Nick can let down his guard, trusting that the safe space they're nurturing between them, where they can see each other clearly and authentically, will allow Charlie to appreciate this essential part of Nick's nature.
The result—according to Nick, one of his favorite days, ever.
---
Much confusion and speculation about Nick's sexuality and romantic availability ensue among Charlie's friend group, causing Charlie to have extreme doubts about those stirrings of hope he felt while spending time with Nick. Nick immediately understands that something is wrong, and Charlie's highly uncharacteristic reticence toward him lets Nick know that whatever is wrong clearly has something to do with himself. He very deliberately puts a little extra space between them, trying to give Charlie room if that's what he needs, while also turning to face him a little more completely, opening himself up and communicating a willingness to listen. When Charlie still declines to talk, Nick, with his characteristic emotional intelligence, leans back in, removing that extra space, helping Charlie see that whatever's going on, Nick wants to understand it and, if he can, help fix it. Charlie, after an internal battle, briefly but decisively sets aside his doubts to ask Nick to come round his house. After all the drama and rumors, it comes down to just the two of them, as it always should have been, offering each other the space and support and patience they need to understand each other.
When Nick struggles in his attempts to play the drums, Charlie’s deeply buried but powerful self-confidence comes briefly to the fore and he tells Nick to budge up. He’s testing the waters here a little; by saying “let me help,” he’s still giving Nick the option to decline, but Charlie definitely isn't his usual deferential self in this moment. Nick does not decline; in fact, there is nervous excitement all over his face. Both of them are fully aware that they’re erasing that physical space between them—they’re pressed together from shoulder to knee—and they both agreed to be there.
Charlie takes Nick’s hands and guides him through a drum sequence, clearly focused and happy, in his wheelhouse for once, while Nick finally, fully realizes and admits to himself on some level that the kind of touch he wants to share with Charlie has changed. He can barely mask the confusion and exhilaration and little bit of fear that he’s feeling when Charlie stops playing and looks back up at him.
Then we have a very intentional removal of touch as Charlie recognizes that, maybe, this interaction affected Nick more intensely than Charlie, or even Nick, first thought it would. Charlie releases Nick’s hands and steps away, reinstating that safe space between them, giving Nick (and himself, really) a chance to assess how they’re both feeling. Nerves and uncertainty play a part in this, and Charlie is clearly a little concerned about appearing too flirty toward Nick, but by taking a step back he's also respecting that bit of fear and confusion he sees in Nick, trying to lessen it if he can.
And now we get to the most casually yet profoundly intimate scene thus far, as Charlie falls asleep on the couch while Nick watches a movie, both of them bathed in golden evening light and swathed in separate blankets, Nick much closer to Charlie's side of the couch than his own. Nick looks at Charlie with intensely confused longing—the first time he’s looking at Charlie when no one else, not even Charlie himself, can witness it—and wonders, what would it be like if this space between them was gone? What if he could be that close to Charlie?
And here he tests himself—does he have the nerve, or even the self-understanding required to take Charlie’s hand? Is that actually what he wants? Nick bravely pushes himself to cross the divide and confront his new reality. When he hovers his hand over Charlie’s, the intent to actually touch is there, but it’s not quite enough to overcome the fear and follow through. Nick pulls away, once again retreating into the safe space between them to process the fact that he very, very much wanted to hold Charlie’s hand. This happens not once, but twice, as Nick essentially double-checks his own impulses to make sure he understands them, to make sure he does feel this way about Charlie. Nick's gaze takes in Charlie's whole face--obviously there's a thought about kissing somewhere in there, but Nick is considering the entirety of his relationship with Charlie, the intensity of his emotions toward and about Charlie as a whole person. The potential for a different kind of intentional touch is just the final piece of that puzzle.
Now it’s late, quiet, and for all Nick and Charlie know they are, for the moment, alone (Tori’s lurking notwithstanding). There’s a sense, unspoken and shaky but undeniably there, that the tenor of their friendship has shifted. Charlie admits that he wishes Nick didn’t have to leave, a statement that, in a less charged setting would mean little. Here, though, it's a subtle admission of deeper feeling. Nick admits he would like to stay as well, and follows it up with a very telling line: “You look so . . . cuddly like that.” Lots of things are going on here. First, Nick is not looking at Charlie’s face for much of this exchange—he's looking at the rest of Charlie’s body. And this is only the second time Nick has commented on Charlie’s appearance; unlike when he notices Charlie’s haircut, here there is nothing obvious prompting this comment other than Nick’s own desire to voice his thoughts. Nick’s word choice is interesting, too. He could have said “cozy,” “comfy,” or some such. Instead, he says "cuddly," a word with connotations of both appearance and action, specifically reciprocal action. To say Charlie looks cuddly implies that Nick has thought about Charlie’s cuddlable-ness (not a word, but stay with me here). Combine that with the progression of the conversation—from admitting he doesn’t want to leave to telling Charlie he looks cuddly—indicates that Charlie’s cuddleable-ness is at least partly the reason Nick doesn’t want to leave.
Charlie, with all of his suppressed hope, tentatively picks up what Nick is putting down. “Do I?” really means, “did you mean that like I hope you meant it?” Nick responds with an emphatic “Yeah.” Then there is a pause while Nick holds a quick internal debate. Charlie waits, seeing clearly that Nick is struggling with something. As Charlie often does for Nick, he’s maintaining the space between them and allowing Nick to make his own decision about whether a meaningful touch is what he wants. This is one of Charlie’s most profound and consistent means of caring for and protecting Nick, and proof of how highly attuned he is to Nick’s conflicted emotions.
Nick comes to a clear decision and embraces Charlie for the first time. Charlie, unable to quite believe it and unsure of the meaning behind it, waits several beats to return the hug, giving Nick a lot of room to change his mind. And while Nick is clearly a bit panicked about his actions and their ramifications for him, while he is confused and scared, he intentionally, courageously chose this hug, this meaningful touch, as an expression of his deep care for Charlie.
And this is when that actual physical space between them becomes intangible space. It is still there, still a vastly important part of their evolving relationship, but when Nick and Charlie are alone, that space is now held between their minds and hearts rather than in the tangible world.

putting this on here because i need rant about this because marvel dudebros on threads and basically every are pissing me off (copied this from my insta story):
"deadpool and wolverine is what we needed/asked for. nobody asked for agatha..."
let's talk about this take because frankly... it's very much incorrect. (coming from a dp&w stan who hasn't seen AAA yet)
agatha all along was bound to happen after the immense amount of love from kathryn hahn's STELLAR scene stealing performance as agnes/agatha in wandavision. her song HIT THE FUCKING CHARTS on itunes. what song from marvel has done that other than all the stars and pray for me (+ maybe king's dead but idk)? she literally killed her role as a character who frankly idk could've been pulled off by anyone else. kathryn IS agatha, which is crazy considering her version isn't comic accurate. the turn out for her with the song and the memes guaranteed her AAA. she proved that she can hold her own as a lead.
you know who didn't in the studio's eyes? ryan motherfucking reynolds.
fun fact about the deadpool series: it almost wasn't gonna happen. you really think the "who's balls did i have to fondle to get my own movie?" line was merely a joke? no ma'am. ryan fought tooth and fucking nail for that movie. so much so that the way the story was told in the movie wasn't a stylistic choice... it was the only way to tell the story with the $58 million dollar budget they had for the movie. the film was in development for about.... twelve years because fox just didn't think the movie would work, especially since ryan wanted it to be an r rated comic book film.
then green lantern happened. this was to be ryan's RDJ moment. he was gonna jump to a-list because of this movie only for it to flop financially, critically, and otherwise. that movie set back ryan's career huge. fox didn't even want to touch that man with a five foot pole when it came to him leading a cbm movie again. it took a LEAKED test footage for fox to say "yeah okay will green light it"
agatha all along was more wanted than deadpool originally did. there's a possibility that dp&w could never happened. there was always gonna be an agatha sequel series after WV
just say your ass hate sapphic witchy women and move on thank youuuu
#agatha all along#agatha harkness#deadpool and wolverine#deadpool#wade wilson#kathryn hahn#ryan reynolds#people LOVE to be stupid#it pisses me off ngl#let the women and gays fucking have SOMETHING!!

you know what fuck it-
I hate cringe culture as much as the next person but we need to make having twitter and meta accounts cringe.
it's cringey now- using platforms owned by billionaires who actively influence elections to work against their userbase's safety? Who profit HEAVILY off lgbt+ and bipoc culture, yet actively helped a fascist win the election and put all those communities in danger??
You still have one of those accounts? You still have a twitter/facebook/insta/threads account?? In this economy?? ESPECIALLY when alternatives exist? Damn...

231031 levinchk instagram update Taemin ‘GUILTY’
So I want to talk about the various reactions I've seen to the people Taemin is interacting with in the MV trailer, MV teasers, and the MV itself.
I'm actually surprised that anyone would be stunned that this moment above in the MV is Taemin touching a man, not a woman. Everything leading up to the MV had Taemin being touched and surrounded by men (to my eyes, younger men or men around his age). As these tags by @jaythajujubae say, everyone Taemin is intimate with in the MV is male, while he mainly dances with women. (very bicon of him I agree)

And in this analysis on twitter (I shared the whole thread here) saying that Guilty is the prequel to Advice, op points out something very telling -

Here op is saying that in MV teaser #1, Taemin is looking at a younger version of himself, which is a view I saw others echo - that this person here is a younger Taemin, and that this scene reflects the innocence he had in his early years in the idol industry - the entire concept of Guilty is heavily focused on corruption of innocence.
But when I first saw MV teaser #1, I had these thoughts that I posted on 10/27:
The person who may be the object of Taemin’s affection in the MV teaser seems to present in a genderless way, and I feel like that’s purposeful… especially based on what we see in the trailer (everyone has short hair, 3 are dressed similarly to Taemin in the beginning shot when they’re playing in the water, and some are petite, making it difficult to say if they’re male or female)
Because to me, this person looks more female than male, and I believe a point is being made here (again I will link to this video about the sexualization and feminization of Taemin, detailing what he went through all through his career as an idol, including when he was a minor - what he did with Move was pivotal to how he perceived himself as an artist, reclaiming what others had tried to dictate for him):

After reflecting a little, and seeing how others took the younger person above as a young Taemin, the phrase "object of affection" lingered in my head. Whether this person represents young Taemin or someone Taemin cares for and later feels guilt about, the meaning is the same. Corruption of innocence. The character Taemin represents in this comeback is both someone who has been corrupted and someone who has ruined others. As we see in the MV trailer and also the MV, he is forced to shoot a gun at someone begging for mercy - from an authority completely indifferent to both their suffering.

Going back to the twitter thread about Guilty prefacing Advice, in MV teaser #1 Taemin could be looking back at a younger self surrounded by older men, whereas when he is forced to commit violence in the MV trailer, he is dressed as if he is younger than he is and surrounded by younger men. To me, the first scenario reflects a view of his younger self in the idol industry, and the second scenario reflects a view of his recent self during his military conscription.
Another speculation, what if the person he is being forced to shoot represents his younger self? We aren't shown that person's face on purpose. They are representative of a bigger concept - loss of innocence, and loss of that self who possessed such innocence. Just like the quote (the first line which is on Taemin's insta), from Hermann Hesse:
"The bird fights its way out of the egg. The egg is the world. Who would be born must first destroy a world. The bird flies to God. That God's name is Abraxas.”
And now theories of this quote being personified by Taemin in the MV (put out on twitter and reddit, which I shared here) have been proven true by the Guilty MV's director - 231030 Guilty MV director Byul Yun instagram update:

credit to @nso-csi for sharing this here!
So ultimately, I think Taemin choosing to be intimate, sometimes manhandled, by men in the MV is a choice that makes a profound point. The moment in the MV that's being shown in the first picture on this post, Taemin sings this line: "Give up, you’re trapped inside me". I believe in parts of this song, Taemin is speaking of himself. Parts of his identity that society used to deny him to express that he gives free reign to now, through this lens of exploring the border between what is provocative and what is disturbing.
I haven't even gone into more imagery the MV provides us plus the lyrics. But the opening scene itself gives a hint that this concept also touches on the idea of forbidden love, i.e. queer relationships.
These are the opening lines of the song:
Poison apple Spellbound, you wanna take a bite Hand outstretched In danger, sinking deeper
During the last line "in danger, sinking deeper", we get this shot:

If you look closely, I am almost sure the person on the left is the same person Taemin is focused on in the pillow fight scene in MV teaser #1. And the person on the right looks female. To me, that person on the left appears genderless, or nonbinary. Taemin himself has said he embraces a genderless expression in his art. Just like with Advice, I think with Guilty he is saying that he embraces an identity that goes against societal expectations for male idols (and male music artists in general). With Guilty I think he's also embracing a love that makes the audience feel guilty (something I also talked about in rambling not-really-an-essay here, after the second MV teaser photos came out).
How exactly Guilty links to queer relationships is a deeper conversation than I can manage (and this post is already very long), but I hope someone does, because I think the potential for such a connection is there.
I do not think Taemin is giving queerness itself negative connotations. I feel that he is drawing a parallel between queer love and a relationship with the (queer) self. I think a lot of concepts are coexisting in Guilty, and the fact that this comeback has resulted in so many theories and interpretations is proof of that.
This verse that Taemin named as his favorite in the song keeps standing out to me:
I want you to lose yourself That’s what’ll make our love easy Just doing things my own way The bigger the pain, the sweeter it remains
~

I'm just gonna leave these here:

I’ve been seeing Cara being talked about recently as a good instagram/deviantart alternative and was wondering what’s your opinion and or if you have a account- Pirate anon
Hmmmm well to be honest I’m a bit indifferent? Mainly because when things like new social media platforms pop up they don’t last very long. That’s not to say Cara is bad, that we artists shouldn’t migrate there or anything but rather I just don’t know if it’ll stay relevant within the next month or so. I think of Bluesky and Threads and how they were a hot thing for a moment, but we still choose to use Twitter and Insta anyway.
I think another reason why I’m not so gun ho right off the bat is because Cara is so artist-led/driven (which isn’t a bad thing). I believe artists should have a safe space to present their work (like DA and art station once was). But at that point, Cara is just a portfolio hosting website and not really a social media platform. The thing about sites like Twitter, Insta and hell even Tumblr that makes them such powerful tools to artists is because they are online public spaces that connects them to an audience outside of the artist realm/bubble. The general public aspect might very well be how artists are able to make a living off their art. Since Cara (at the moment) seems very much an artist only space, I wouldn’t be surprised if some people aren’t joining because it wouldn’t actually help sustain their livelihood like Insta or any other platform has done for them. I can only speak for myself but almost every job I’ve gotten was because of Insta and Twitter’s ability to reach beyond online artist focused circles. And recruiters do see that stuff and take note of it. It’s so hard to build an audience for your art (especially if it’s not fanart stuff) so starting from scratch isn’t a good selling point for some artists who spent years building what they currently have. So then they end up in a shitty situation of they can’t literally afford to leave the platform for a new one.
And if Cara were to make changes to become more like Insta let’s say, then it could diminish the entire reason why the site was created in the first place (artist-led/driven). I hope it doesn’t change cause yeah artists deserve a safe space but at its best Cara could be a site industry recruiters can use to source/hire talent like Artstation. But I don’t really think it can replace Insta (or any social media platform) as much as some people might want it to.
Sorry Pirate this was a long winded way of saying I don’t have a Cara account haha. We’ll see what happens but for right now I’m kind of just watching to see if it actually sticks around.

hi! i know you said you weren't interested in the crypto news anymore, but i found a bit of information alleging that the youtube channel was hacked and that $pucca is an unoffical project

^ twitter thread from allegedly the ceo of vooz club explaining to youtube after the nft was launched saying the youtube was hacked, if it is true then it would explain a couple of errors ive noticed with the whole situation, 1) why only one of the channels teasing the crypto stuff which seems to be the channels former korean instead the offical pucca english as well as all the links being non updated
the link trees are also very suspicious... https://linktr.ee/pucca_world <- this is the link on the offical english channel, it still has all its old links (insta, tiktok, puccaweb)
https://linktr.ee/puccaworld <- and THIS is the link on the korean channel where all the cryptoshit is, anything thats associated with $pucca seems to remove the _ on any platforms pucca is already on,
https://www.tiktok.com/@pucca_world <- offical verifed pucca tiktok, it should also be noted that on the crypto website on the comment section they're all link specifically to this page and NOT the puccaworld one
https://www.tiktok.com/@puccaworld <- unverified crypto tiktok
My theory of whats happening is that jimmy or whoever hacked the website to use pucca's brand recognition to get people to invest in their memecoin, they get cheap animators to make videos for them so they can put them on their social media which explains the the difference in quality, i dont think theyre really gonna do a season 4 or if they do itll likely be cheap or ai generated and made for cryptobros, i think this whole "pucca revival" thing is scam by greedy hackers trying to take money from the fandom, this is just my theory but i dont really know what to think :(
Hi! Okay, so, it's worth mentioning that the TV show centered channels are literally crumbling and are barely maintained. Sure, they upload, but it's nothing that they put any thought into. Especially the english one. Also I'm pretty sure they're run by people that aren't associated with VOOZ? Anyways, my issue with this is that they most likely would have pursued legal action at this point instead of just shouting about the youtube channel being hacked on twitter. The IP was purchased in August 2024, they have had plenty of time to pursue a legal response and they have not. An alleged old VOOZ employee confirmed the purchase of the IP, if I recall correctly. If not the purchase, they at least confirmed that some of the old Pucca staff is working on the crypto stuff. (I don't recall the exact details, I was not the one to talk with them and I am going off of word of mouth).
The thing about this whole situation is that as much as I would love for this all to be a hijacking, for Pucca to have never officially been affilited with all this stupid bullshit, the IP was most likely purchased legitimately.
I would want nothing more than to be proven wrong.

thanks for taking your time and replying to my post nicely, I know I went overboard (I do feel like an idiot lmao) but I do feel it is very unfair to Sky to be "of course he did it" when there is no 100% confirmation and the show did not even make it a thing... So even if one thinks he did it, the animation is not showing and there is not much to take from it, sorry for this again. You know I used to have reddit so you can only imagine how fatigued I am from Sky hate, seriously I am someone who think enjoy any character you want I love some very troubled chars, not on winx tho haha and not Sky (nor Riven for that matter) are close to them but on "online" places you see people literally being huge hypocrites with Sky and Riven because they seriously stan and praise characters that are murders, just down right evil so I feel that they just wanna hate Sky and Riven rlly and its a little lonely when you want to talk about winx you know what I mean? When you love them, it is kinda unfair you know how Riven gets all the hate in the world when he is not even 20% of what people say he is, ughh so tiresome and Sky makes me so? confused? because a lot of it is just plain wrong things that are told about him a lot of bs and his romance with Bloom is something I find cute and all so it's all crazy and confusing to me, it is very upsetting but I am always spreading my Sky propaganda always liking and engaging with posts about them on insta etc (but i wont go to reddit its hell, not even here is that nice)
I am so sorry for the late response, especially after I invited you to chat. I've just been in a strange mood lately. Didn't feel motivated to come online.
Anyway, I don't think you went overboard! I actually agree that it's unclear and not as "objective" as some make it out to be. The narrative never addresses it, so the only thing I think strongly supports the idea is a few seconds of animation. But Winx Club's animation is no stranger to blatant errors so... I'm with you. I don't subscribe to the abandonment interpretation because I just see a borderline invisible thread that leads nowhere.
I would rather die than touch Reddit with a six-foot pole. I can't even begin to imagine how stressful it was for you over there. I am so sorry. And I get it, y'know? It's hard to find people who genuinely fuck with Riven and Sky as characters. And even when you do find those people, they often hold the popular fandom interpretations of them. The only difference is they like the characters for these things instead of hating them. But when you don't agree with those interpretations, it can feel really lonely.
But I'm here! I've never been all that great at socialising, but if you still wanna chat, just message me. If you prefer to use another website, let me know. I'll make an account if I have to. We can talk about Skloom and devise plans to spread Sky propaganda lol
