You often join her there for some tea and sweets, claiming that she wasn't alone anymore and shouldn't act like it either.

Your absolute mastery over the pryo element is something she definitely admired. She likes to train with you every now and then to strengthen herself, as she saw you as a better equal. This also means that she greatly respects your opinions and thoughts, despite her own ideals usually having a priority.

She sees you as the voice of reason that guides her through tougher situations she can't handle.

Yae enjoys spending her own immortal life at your side in the shrine. Your life together is never bland, especially not with her teasing and playful nature. Your intelligence and wisdom meshes well with her own mischief and cunning version of it, which makes you both a very powerful couple unbeknownst to many. She likes taking the backseat, though, and let's you take over most things when she's feeling especially lazy that day. It just proves how much she trusts and values you and your knowledge.

With that said, she's not shy in expressing her love for how strong you are. She'll stay around to watch you train or use your abilities for even the mundanest things with an admiring glint in her eye. She compliments you for it at all times without a fail, practically making it her goal to fluster you as much as she can. She just adores you so much.

Expect her to make jokes about you essentially being a bird and her a fox... they tend to be at times concerningly grim.

Happy Birthday, Fuuta! (~600 word yap session about T3 Fuuta predictions + phoenix symbolism under the cut because I am incredibly excited for his birthday TL and have English this semester.)

To establish some background, Fuuta is described as “good-hearted” on the wiki page, and in the past he has stated he cares for Haruka, but usually when we see him he’s just being an asshole (or “caring” in strange ways like… offering Mahiru a tomato on her birthday???)

But in the TL since his 2023 TL with Amane and her preaching to him, we have actually seen Fuuta being OVERTLY caring. Although he may have always been good-hearted deep down, he’s always been a pretty big asshole on the surface so it’s still a massive change for him.

Putting these two TLs side by side, we can also see his tone has visibly changed - he’s referring to Mahiru by name (I don’t think he’s ever done so before in any TL 😭), and he’s a lot more hesitant, soft spoken, and thoughtful.

I think his mannerisms stem partly from Amane’s influence, but also from the remnants of his desire to act as a “hero”. With those combined, Fuuta is likely letting his kinder side show more often as a means for “salvation” - namely being forgiven, essentially “repenting for his sins”. 

Now, what happens now that he IS forgiven? Fuuta’s primary symbol is fire, which can be likened to his strong beliefs. In T2 this “fire” in him is slowly withering out, yet also being replaced by… whatever this new “salvation” thing is. The purpose of the voting in Trial 1 and 2 is to affirm/deny the prisoner’s beliefs, so this new fire - his new beliefs - are being metaphorically reignited.

That’s where the phoenix symbolism comes in. We also see him literally burning to ashes in Backdraft, potentially representing the death of his former self.

And what rises from the ashes? The phoenix, obviously! Phoenixes are known to resurrect themselves after death, in some interpretations dying by their own fire, bearing similarities to Fuuta being burnt by his own “fire” in Backdraft. With his forgiven vote, a new kind of fire may be ignited within him hence the rebirth of the phoenix.

This is a stretch, but fun fact: the Chinese phoenix, mostly used in Eastern mythology, is denoted by the characters 鳳凰 (Fènghuáng) with etymology related to the character for wind… which happens to be in the Kanji for Fuuta’s name (風汰 or Fēngtài in Chinese pinyin).

Phoenixes are also like angels but with fire. This isn’t a well-researched point, it’s just that Amane has angel symbolism/wings in Magic and wings combined with Fuuta’s fire symbolism is just a phoenix. Yeah.

With all that being said… Happy birthday, Fuuta. Today is certainly a good day to be reborn.

Oh yeah, i don't think anything have asked this in a while. How's tge Legend of Zelda TTRPG going? Has it been put on hold, have anything interesting happened? Have there been any additions of subtractions to certain elements or lore stuff?

Also did anyone play Yiga and how did that go? And how does it work seeing how they kinda are followers of ganon "betrayers" of the Shieka

It kind of petered out, as most tabletop games do eventually if you don't quite reach the end. It's a shame, but I'm still happy how it went. I've thought about rebooting it some day, but I'd need to change more things since Tears of the Kingdom introduced a lot of juicy lore that could come into play.

If you're asking how the Yiga were handled in that setting/lore? Basically, when Ganondorf was confirmed to have been reborn, the moment the Yiga Clan found out about it, they all rushed to swear fealty to him. Ganondorf was maybe a little surprised at first, but was happy to have a bunch of loyal minions right out the gate. After that, the first order of business for Ganondorf was the earn back the loyalty of the Gerudo, who, understandably, weren't super happy about him being active again. But they were also dealing with some problems from a bunch of demons, so they didn't have time to fight Ganondorf. So Ganon's like "Oh, are those guys giving you trouble?" then he and his yiga boys essentially swoop in and save the day for the Gerudo. After that the Gerudo are more willing to see Ganondorf in a positive light. (This all happens before the player characters rolled up)

Pictured below is the illustration I did of that particular incarnation of Ganon. The mark on his chest is a birthmark.

Ganondorf eventually marries the queen of the gerudo, a woman named Arwa. They have a daughter, Shayla, who is talented at shadow magic. Shayla spends some time learning about shadow magic with the Twili who are also there (a long complicated story).

Depicted below is Princess Shayla.

During that time she meets the current incarnation of Midna, who is a teenager slightly younger than Shayla. She also meets Midna's older brother Noct, who is secretly a reincarnation of Zant but he doesn't tell anyone about that including his own sister because he's ashamed.

Pictured below is Queen Penumbra, Prince Noct, and Princess Midna in their incarnations for that game.

Then later Queen Arwa dies under suspicious circumstances and a rogue demon is blamed for it, but Shayla believes the twili were involved, so she ghosts her friends Midna and Noct because they're suspects.

She recruits the player characters into her investigation. Eventually they discover that Midna and Noct's mother, Queen Penumbra, is the real murderer, and has actually kept Queen Arwa's ghost trapped in a crystal so that she couldn't tell anyone the truth.

The party retrieves the crystal Arwa is trapped in and bring it back to Ganon, who is now in their debt. They (with Arwa's help) convince him not to fly off the handle and immediately try to kill the twili queen. Instead they take Queen Penumbra to court. We full-on had a Phoenix Wright style Court Episode about it. It was amazing.

And that's a small fraction of the stuff that group got up to.

haha.. guess who’s spent too much time scrolling through the monster falls tag since spooky month’s coming up and now has brainrot for a twisters monster au, couldn’t be me-

here’s what kind of monsters i’d think the cast would be, but yall can leave suggestions too if you want ofc

kate’s a leoninetaur - a centaur with the lower half of a lion instead of a horse, along with lion ears and a lion nose. she just gives me lioness vibes with her whole arc of isolating herself n’ such, and also because i wanted to give her paws, teehee.

tyler’s a minotaur hybrid - basically he doesn’t have a wholeass bull head but he has horns, bull ears, hooved feet, and a tail along with fur on his back, chest, legs and arms. as for the type of bull he’s based off of- i liked the shape of an ankole’s horns [obviously his aren’t as ridiculously big] and their coat pattern, so i chose them for the inspiration.

javi i struggled with a lot, but ultimately i think he'd be a phoenix hybrid - representative of him essentially being severely changed or reborn after the deaths of the tornado tamers, and him being metaphorically being reborn after leaving storm par. he's got wings, finger talons, pyrokinesis, and the ability to completely burn himself and regenerate anew. i also thought it'd be funny since he canonically loves hot cheetos.

boone is a werefox! more specifically, a black fox. while he looks mostly human when not shifted he does have fox ears, a bushy tail, and fur on his arms, chest, back and legs. foxes are known as playful tricksters, which i think perfectly fits boone. i also imagine that he's able to make fox noises so i can just picture him screeching at tyler and ty just being like "WHAT DO YOU WANT"

lily is a gorgon! i thought it'd be silly to imagine her long braids as a bunch of snakes [whomst she loves very much]. obviously because of the whole 'turning-people-to-stone-by-just looking-at-them,' lily usually has to wear sunglasses or a blindfold to ensure not having any accidental stone turnings and the only person lily can look at without any kind of coverings is dani. i imagine her snakes to be rainbow boas [bc they're shiny and they remind me of her].

speaking of dani, she's a gargoyle! she's got wings, horns and claws, and of course grey skin that turns to complete stone when she's exposed to too much sunlight. she's the polar opposite of the broody gothic stereotype placed on gargoyles for obvious reasons, and she's the one who's currently teaching javi how to properly fly since he never really learned.

the last wrangler on the list, dexter would likely be a dragon hybrid. think about it, dex is widely recognized as a sort of dad figure to the wranglers, and dragons like to hoard treasure, so it'd make since for a dragon dexter to consider the wranglers his hoard. although he's pretty laid back by dragon standards, don't think for a second that he wouldn't get protective if someone tried to threaten any of the wranglers. he does have a full dragon form, although he doesn't use it very often and prefers to simply stay in a mostly human form with wings, a tail, claws and horns.

cathy is a leoninetaur as well, although her animal half is actually that of a liger's -a lion and a tiger hybrid. kate only ended up being a full blooded leoninetaur due to her dad being a full blooded lion variant. nevertheless, she's a protective mama cat and nobody dares to fuck with her.

finally, i [unfortunately] have to talk about scott, and i definitely think he's a naga. snakes are known to be deceptive and manipulative, which definitely fits him. it's also funny trying to imagine him squashing himself awkwardly into a car with a bigass tail. as for what kind of snake he'd be, an asp viper fits him. [they look mean. scott is mean, so it fits.]

“Phoenix rising from the ashes.” This phrase popped into my head recently, and I wasn’t sure why until I did the research. As the story goes, the phoenix is a mythical bird with fiery plumage that lives up to 100 years. Near the end of its life, it settles in to its nest of twigs which then burns ferociously, reducing bird and nest to ashes. And from those ashes, a fledgling phoenix rises – renewed and reborn.

And now I get it. This is the story of my life in the past few months – especially the part about burning ferociously. Life presented me with some challenging circumstances that left me just hanging on. And now, sanity has returned. I look out with fresh eyes. The fog has lifted, and the dark clouds have moved on.

My experience is not unique – it happens to all of us at some point, it’s a part of the human journey. But this was my time, and I’d like to share with you what I’ve learned along the way.

Resistance is natural

When life threw me a curve, I longed for the turmoil to be over with. I wanted to pick myself up and move on. I tried hard to create a plan, to know what I didn’t know, to gain control. I was so busy trying to make things happen that I overlooked what was actually happening.

I ignored my feelings and resisted the present moment. Yes, me, the one who writes aboutwelcoming all of our experience with a loving, open heart. I was doing everything but.

Finally, I realized my approach wasn’t working. I stopped trying. I let myself be frustrated and impatient. I admitted that there was so much I didn’t know, and I let go of figuring it all out. Life was messy, so I suspended my fruitless attempts to clean it up.

And this was the beginning of the fire, as there was space for feelings and reactions to surface.

Things happen in their own time

When I look back I see that I had very little control over what happened. The seasons of my experience had to run their course – severe winter storms, cold and darkness, then the seeds hidden from view beginning to sprout (very exciting!). The best I could do was ride the waves, which I did with varying degrees of success.

Forgetting and remembering joy

When darkness descends, joy is blotted out, buried, seemingly non-existent. Everything weighed like a heavy burden, all my activities felt like obligations. When I realized that I had forgotten joy, I created a “want-to-do” list. Every time I found myself wandering around in a fog, my job was to pull out the list and do something enjoyable or productive. I organized closets andtook walks, finally starting to see the beauty around me.

And I focused on others – being a good friend, showing up for someone in need.

My self-care didn’t suffer. My diet stayed healthy, and I kept up with yoga. But some people going through hard times can benefit from paying special attention to the basics of daily living – good diet, exercise, limited alcohol.

Staying close to the bone

Things started to shift when I made the commitment to find direction in my moment-to moment experience. The big picture was way too nebulous, but I realized that in each moment there was a kernel of truth, a clarity, a “yes” that showed me my next step.

I recognized that this guidance had been there all along, but I was too caught up in trying to find solutions to see it. When I let go of paying so much attention to the stories running through my mind, of trying to control, of avoiding strong feelings, much to my surprise, I found the groundedness I was looking for – the truth in every moment.

Support was essential

At the beginning, I was going it alone, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Eventually, I reached out, allowing the vulnerability of asking for support. It came in so many beautiful, unexpected ways, but I had to let people know I needed it. And a few sessions with a therapist offered some very useful insights.

The clouds do part

“This too shall pass” were empty words to me. I looked into the future, and all I could see was confusion. My negative mind had taken over, and I couldn’t see my way out.

But the clouds do part in their own time. The human spirit is resilient and wants to find its way home to wholeness. I see this over and over in my work. I facilitate a bereavement group at a retirement community for people who have lost their spouses after sometimes 50+ years of marriage. You can just tell when someone walks through the door that they will announce they no longer need the group. They are renewed; they have gone into the darkness and found their way through.

One day I realized that I was happy, and soon after, I saw that I was thriving. I had been through the fire and emerged whole and clear, with doors opening in so many wonderful ways. The sad and frustrated stories in my mind had fallen away, and the emotions that had captured me softened. I can breathe freely again.

Eventually opening to the lessons

When people said I would look back and appreciate this time, all I could do was groan. When I was in the thick of it, it seemed like it would never end. And now, with the sun shining and flowers blooming, I can reflect on what I have learned.

Let things happen.Give up trying to control.Don’t pretend you know what you don’t know.Stay close to what you know is true in the moment.Feeling bad isn’t wrong – it’s just how things are sometimes.Take good care of yourself.Engage with others.Reach out for support.When the time is right, feel the emotions.Get perspective – learn what not to do next time.

Headcanons n stuff from my Phoenix Witch Ghoul au

So like the Witch was the Witch but basically something happened and he sacrificed himself to save everyone and in doing so his soul merged with hers and so that’s how he became her

He has all of the Witch's memories now alongside his own as she has all his, they are one being and yet the Witch still somewhat has her own consciousness or like vibes in his head, it’s hard to explain but it’ll make sense in the fic i think

Ghoul has all of the Witch's powers like seeing souls, appearing to people, granting small miracles, and being able to see the history of any soul. He can also ‘manifest’ as anything so when he’s in the living world, sometimes he’s fun ghoul but sometimes they’re a crow/raven or a coyote or something. his favorite way to traverse the zones is as a raven. He can shapeshift essentially.

Since he and the Witch are one, he’s her but he’s also still himself, it’s like a genderfuck mindfuck thing and his identity isn’t the same. He’s fun ghoul but not, or well, it’s easier to be fun ghoul when he’s with the Fab Four or his friends and appearing as a killjoy, but if he’s reaping souls and stuff he’s more witch than killjoy and doesn’t feel like connected to humanity. And then when he is fun ghoul, his identity has changed since before he was the witch, he’s just genderless now as opposed to like transmasc lol

Kobra has powers too, he can speak to spiders and snakes and all the little things and sometimes they'll help him out, for he earned their respect and praise in a previous life.

And he always wears sunglasses because he literally has snake eyes. He can see infrared like snakes and it makes him fucking deadly at night

Unlike Ghoul, Kobra is still human, but he is also strangely in tune with the desert, more than any normal killjoy. Becuase of this connection, Kobra can always predict the weather or where dracs are going to appear.

Its common knowledge that crows are just puppies and when Ghouls around the diner in the form of one he always gets pet.

Kobra's the only one thats seen Ghouls true form, the one he has on the spiritual plane, the form of the Phoenix Witch or, well, what he and the Phoenix Witch merged to become. He thinks that form is beautiful.

None of them ever fail to be in awe of the fact that their little guy is now The Motherfucking Witch

Doctor Death Defying is named that for a reason, hes the Witch's favorite, after all(until Ghoul joined the witch, then theres several favorites.

Some killjoys have the ability to astral project, to walk the spiritual plane and talk to the witch in her realm. Doctor D has this ability and it’s how he always knows about claps and lost killjoys right away, becuase he astral projects and wanders the other side and sees what souls are waiting for the witch

Cola also has this power, but doesn't use it as much as Doctor D does.

The girl also has the power to astral project, thats how ghouls finds her in the first place, she passed out in the desert from the heat and is wandering his world and he sees the power in his soul, knows that she could save the world one day, so he goes to her and brings her back to the fab four, where they become her family

She calls Ghoul birdy and things along those lines a lot because her first impression of him was that of his quite feathery form of the witch

When jet star loses her eye, ghoul gives her a different kind of sight from where the eye is missing- the power to see souls and spirits

Kobra calls him Cuervo all the time now as a term of endearment

Even though he's the witch now they still roughhouse they’re still idiots

Ghoul will live forever and get to witness his friend’s souls being reborn time and time again

He can manifest as anything and kets just say he starts taking some liberties(ehhem um trnasgender things) with his form(also the pranking potential of shapeshifting.. it doesnt matter that hes a powerful spirit now hes still a little shit)

Phoenix!Voldemort will also always be my favorite; to this day I remember I started the chapter that was ultimately titled ‘the Holly in the Snow’ with NO IDEA that writing about V being sad in Antarctica was going to end up with him snapping that wand, somehow using the feather to summon Fawkes, him and this bird having a Moment because they’d both lost their People and were immortal… and them him literally eating fawkes’ heart in what was essentially a consensual mercy killing sort of and being reborn as a Phoenix creature with glorious Phoenix wings lmao I swear I wrote that like I was possessed did not see it coming at all

Greetings Rise fandom! I got another concept for you all!

This could be for its own au, but this is something I'm planning to add into my Dragon Turtles au. I got to thinking about how the turtles could advance with their mystic abilities after the events of the movie, and that's when I got the idea that the bros could gain familiars. Basically, think of these creatures as something like the Palismans from The Owl House, except instead of turning into staffs, they become more like totems, jewelry, or other small, inanimate objects that could be carried around in case of emergencies.

As for how they got them, I like to picture a sort of traveling market that popped up outside of Witch Town. That way all the bros can explore it out of curiosity without getting into trouble with the residents. And as for each one, they all chose the turtles based on a mystic connection. And each one is unique, so let's get into who got who:

Raph: Ursa Minor cub. Bears are classified as strong earth-based guardian spirits, but I wanted Raph's little buddy to be about more than just strength. I also wanted a mystic creature he could show a softer side with. One without worry of getting hurt by the amount of mental anguish suffered at the hands of the Krang turned possibly physical. Hence the decision to give Raph what is essentially a perfect sized teddy bear that also doubles as his mystic partner.

Donnie: Albino Basilisk. Now, I had quite a bit of debate on what to give Donnie as a familiar. I considered something like a rabbit or a cat, but that felt a bit too obvious or overdone. This version of Donnie deserved something unique, so I started looking for alternative animals. The basilisk stuck out to me in a few ways. One, snakes are usually connected to water. Two, making the creature albino means that it would have difficulties surviving, and would have to think outside the box to live in certain conditions. Kind of like Donnie and his soft shell. Making this serpent in particular a fast thinking/highly intelligent creature. Also, much like how Donnie could be misunderstood as a cold and closed off individual, so too are snakes. Snakes can be highly misunderstood as cold, efficient, killing creatures of evil, but some out there actually have calm and friendly temperaments. And while it would take Donnie a while to get over the creepy feeling of them crawling over him, the feel of the smooth skin would probably be great for someone who is theorized to have certain sensitivities to certain textures. Not to mention that the gentle massaging feels of them gently constricting him in a not-too-tight fashion could help keep him grounded in a mental spiral. (And yes, I based the design off of 2012's serpent Karai. it was an intentional reference)

Mikey: Phoenix. Mikey's was an obvious one for me to do. Being the most Mystically connected out of the brothers means he had the highest chances of bonding with a very powerful creature. Enter the phoenix, a firebird with the ability to be reborn from the ashes of an old life. Colorful, graceful, and powerful, the phoenix can also have a soft or even mischievous side to it. A fun-loving creature with great abilities to help a fledging mystic warrior like Mikey gain his proper footing in using them. Especially without hurting himself, like with the portal at the end of the movie. As well as helping him gain confidence to stand on his own when his brothers can't help him.

Leo: Kirin. Leo was also a hard one to figure out. I considered animals like stags, deer, elk and the like. But then, I remembered that Leo had a liking for Unicorns, however I didn't just want to give him a generic unicorn. That's when inspiration struck. I was revisiting the OVA series of Petshop of Horrors, and in the 4th episode, it talked about the Kirin. The Kirin is stated to be a holy beast, who serves no one but it's sovereign. Therefore, the person to gain possession of the Kirin, was destined to be a great ruler. That's when it all clicked into place. The Kirin is not only the Eastern equivalent to the unicorn, but a lot of what it represents could tie into Leo's struggles of being a better leader after the movie. Sovereign is another word for king or leader, and in ancient Chinese/general Asian lore, the arrival of a Kirin was meant to signify the coming or going of a great leading figure. A creature that was benevolent to its allies and had ruthless furry for its enemies. And not just anyone could choose a Kirin as a familiar or guardian spirit, it had to choose you. And after everything Leo went through, fears of failure, the pressures of leadership, the guilt of causing/nearly causing the apocalypse, he would need some kind of sign or reassurance that he was back on the right track. That he was improving and could be a good leader like Casey Jr. said. And what better way than to be chosen by a great mythic beast, with its own set of scars, to choose him to be its leader. If that doesn't prove Leo's leadership capabilities, I don't know what would.

Orange Meringue Cookie - yep the annual Cookie Run Kingdom au, Orange Meringue Cookie used to be named Orange Inkling Cookie a sea cookie that was essentially a mersquid but because of her ink being drained from her by Gummymeleon (a gummy lizard version of Francis) and it being used to summon what was essentiall god to defeat another by her friend Manga Axolotl Cookie she was turned into a land cookie, seems like she was kidnapped during a sea adventure... a very important one at that

Paper Jam - A Meggy from the paper jam verse, she is currently Captain of the Squidbeak Splatoon and got adopted by Cuttlefish, adoptive guardian of Veronika and currently dating Saiko, Tari and Desti in an open relationship, because of the sanitization her right eye is blind due to its light sensitivity, leaving aher needing to wear an eyepatch to avoid strain and had also been coaching a Team Blue from the Splatoon Manga and has also been present for the events of the Manga she doesn’t like others thinking they’re better than everyone else and sometimes gives such people a taste of humble pie (in the case of Wireglasses) if they go too far, she also dislikes the mindset of “The Strong rule the weak” since everyone needed to start from somewhere even the strongest Turfer used to be one of the weak you know, has emotionally adopted Team Blue and is now a single mom that works two jobs something something survivor

Soldier 30 - A Meggy who was made for super soldier program and was essentially a child soldier for most of her life it wasn’t until she was 14 and she ran into Mario (and tried to kill him and SMG4 on multiple occasions) that she began to learn that not is all as it seems and began to slowly but surely question her commanders orders, it wasn’t until she was 16 did she defect and that was during the anime arc, unlike canon Meggy who has green and purple eyes Soldier 30 has red and green eyes and also a list of war crimes

What-If Fuzz - Set in the what-if universe version of Squid Meme, this Meggy’s corpse was used as essential Subject 0 for Mr. Grizz’s Fuzzy Ooze for 4 years because of this she was extremely more fucked up than other more recently fuzzified subjects being a very tall cat bear like creature, it wasn’t until she ran into the NSS who were investigating Alterna whilst on her 333th escape attempt and got partially domesticated due to her immediate attachment to the Captain (who happened to be her younger sibling, Paige) did she begin to regain her suppressed memories that were sealed because of the combined trauma of getting stabbed, coming back from the dead and the countless experiments performed by Grizz, nowadays she has since regained her memories and is trying to live life the best she can whilst being a fucked up mutant cat bear thing, she’s also quite tall being about Saiko’s height and suffers from body aches from the bones she has

Italian Squid - This Meggy was taken in by Mario and Luigi after she was abandoned by her parents on the side of a road when she was a baby as a result she has an even stronger sibling bond than most Meggy’s with her Mario and Luigi and ended up learning a few tricks from them as well, now being able to Jump around like a bro and to swing around a hammer like a pro, she also has a minor italian accent, don’t worry Red and Lou still took her to Inkadia to exprience her heritage and culture, her best friends are Sam, Heavy Squid and Kenji and she’s been on her own Mario branded adventures like her brothers

Meggy and the Music Box - This Meggy has seen more horrors and is on the brink of a mental breakdown and going mas with the only thing keeping her sane is her determination to save both of her brothers from the clutches of the Mario Mansion, she is currently on her 40th loop and always has bruises around her neck from escaping a possessed Mario who was trying to strangle her

Wolf Squid - Before meeting Mario, this Meggy got bitten by a wolf on a camping trip with her friends as a result she now carries lycanthropy, doesn’t really change many things yet causes massive changes, shes a feral little shit who just wants pets

SuperBowserGlitchy - With Bowser being the Avatar instead of Mario, things are bound to change to fit this new Narrative as such this Meggy instead of being like a little sister to Bowser is straight up his adoptive daughter, Bowser ended up adopting Meggy and now she’s the General of his Army (and also has her own mini biker faction of the koopa army called the Killer Splatz) and honestly she makes them work like the damn Navy, she has a whole biker aesthetic going on with her owning a motorbike with a mini side car and instead of wearing a Plumber hat to replace her headgear she wears a Bowser sanctified Koopa baseball cap hat (it’s basically a baseball hat worth bowsers hair and horns) and is practically Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings cool older sister who they hide behind whenever things look grim, due to a magic accident that almost cause Meggy to suffer what was essentially ego death, she is now part koopa along with her being a human and inkling amalgamation (which in itself is a complicated thing), she’s somewhat fire resistant as a result and also carries around a shield of a spiked koopa shell (which may have been bowsers great grandpa but who the fuck knows at this point) which she carrie’s on her back

Puzzle Pieces stained in Orange - This Meggy was childhood friends with Puzzles (key word on the was) and was there to bare witness to his downward mental spiral into insanity and saw first hand the after math of cutting his face off and relplacing it with a television set, now she’s just trying to live her life peacefully after ditching puzzles

Love in the Cold - This Meggy is married to her universes Shiver after a series of misadventures and messes and has 3 kids with said Splatlandian, she also is a bit older than other Meggy’s being about 25 (basically she’s a girl dad with a loving family

Do you think vegas will make it in the end? I know they said season 2, but do you think maybe they said that so as to distract us from thinking this? I'm getting stressed, i want vegaspete to both be here..do you think vegas saying things like making merit to meet in the next lifetime or eat so you can have strength to kill me later on can be considered forshadowing? Also, build, on the live conference thing said something about mile/kinn slapping him, so we are hopefully getting that, in your opinion, what do you think would cause the slap? Will it be because pete chooses vegas and defends him? Or something else entirely

Sorry for the late reply. Let's get into this. Normally I don't promote things but anon if you haven't yet we discuss all of this and more on a 8 hour twitter space breaking down things all things episode 11 and VegasPete. Vegas will be one of the characters that will be in the danger zone essentially. his story depends on where the directors and writers want to stop at before they deal with him in season 2. So it's hard to explain to you what could happen with him. It's either he will be seen as dead by us the audience with a cliff hanger waiting for his rebirth to happen in the next season or if they will tackle his rebirth in this season as they have been foreshadowing to both him dying and being awake, or a side of him dying and being reborn anew into something of good. The next life conversation is part of these foreshadowings essentially the religion believes in making merits for your next wife 'washing' away your bad karma, your evil deeds, and those you hurt and getting repentance and mercy to become someone else. This isn't a scary foreshadowing because it's a positive way to view *dea*th, it is about it being a tool to bring purpose and a new happy peaceful beginning again. Deth (i'm gonna have to spell it like this so i don't get flagged) in KP is a good thing, Porsche is connected to this with the phoenix he needs Deth to be able to reborn into the queen of the chessboard, so does Vegas who is also his queen of his chessboard, both queens have to become something new for their story to take place and for their loved ones to be protected and happy. There has been so many, like so many foreshadowings for VP with deth and rebirth, I just even got a new one from a fan, but I feel confident for now they are tackling and keeping this with Vegas, we will see him go through some type of deth but they'll hopefully talk or hint at his rebirth too.

As for Build getting slapped. I can see Kinn being betrayed by Pete but a slap feels out of order since Kinn already left Pete and forgot about him. I feel like the show wants KInn to make mistakes but they don't want him hated, they've rewritten him to fit that, so slapping Pete when it could make him look heartless and extra I don't think I believe that but then where else or what other reason would Mile have for slapping Build? So yeah I get your point, Kinn slapping Pete upon him admitting he wants to leave or betrays them seems again cruel, is there a chance Pete may ask for the slap, for a punishment because his head isn't focused on his work? Is there a chance Pete may ask Kinn to do that? Yeah that's what I would lean into more than just cruelly slapping him cause youre butthurt he betrayed you. But like I said I'm uncertain about this statement, however Build did say it and it wasn't an error so Mile must have slapped him and made him realise Pete is a masochist. Even the actor is saying it.

Thanks anon! there's a lot to think about when analysing VegasPete dynamics and boy did the show go all out for it. They have spent so much energy and effort thinking and making these two be filled with depth and symbolisms and things to foreshadow and explain the psyche behind their love story. For that I truly want to trust this team and see what they do with the ending. They are changing the novel's ending so this analysis is not a spoiler, but more just on what the show is giving and it is deth and rebirth with VP. Who will go? who will need to be rebirthed? how will they show it in the story narrative? that's what we have 3 episodes to figure out. Thanks again have a great day <3

Hanako turned to Harribel who seem to know what her plan is and while she doesn't seem happy about it, she knew they'll need to do this. Hanako soon motions for Hikari to go get who they have for backup.

Hikari took off, while Hanako addresses what she's planning. "Believe it or not, while you guys engaged the Quincy in the Royal Palace, I was busy going around the Seireitei with my grandfather. Not just as a sort of backup, but for other reasons too."

Hanako took out her sword as flames begin appearing around it. "My Zanpakuto's name is Hi no Fenikkusu Hou-ou. It translates to Fire Phoenix, Hou-ou. My Zanpakuto is not just a destructive power of fire, it also have a unique ability not see in other Zanpakuto."

Hanako explains how in mythology, the phoenix is considered immortal. It can heal all sort of injuries and wounds, even the most powerful poison. But upon its death, it will be reborn. The Phoenix is essentially in a never-ending cycle where it can never die. It will come back time and time again.

"My Zanpakuto isn't just used for burning my enemies to ash, but can heal my injuries or any injuries of my allies, even cure them of any poison. No matter how serious they are. It also allows me to avoid actually dying."

As long as her Zanpakuto is intact and she leaves behind a semblance of her spiritual energy within her sword, even if her whole body is gone, she will revive.

"Essentially, I am immortal. This was a gift given to me by the Soul King upon my birth. I guess he believed I was destined to lead the Soul Society to a better direction than it was in."

The other Soul Reapers were shocked and in awe to find out that Lady Hanako was not only with such a unique Zanpakuto, but that as long as she has it, she can't die. Something they never expected would be possible.

"That is an amazing ability, Lady Hanako. But I take it there's a reason for you telling us all of this?" Renji asked wondering where she's leading with this.

"Right, well, you see, my Zanpakuto can also revive fallen allies who've died. Provided there's something left for me to revive back. So, when I arrived, I began reviving many Soul Reapers who died, along with a few others who could become allies," said Hanako who knew that last part will be explained now as Hikari came back but wasn't alone. "Ah here they are. I presume you all remember these people?"

Standing by the door were five familiar girls:

The leader of the girls Bambietta Basterbine, the creepy looking one Giselle Gewelle, the green haired one Candice Catnipp, the tall pink haired one Meninas McAllon, and the short blond girl Lilotto Lamperd.

And one male who walked past the girls and stood by, Bazz-B.

"W-What the hell? They're alive? But how?!" Yumichika till Hanako held up her sword and showed it was her. "You brought them back to life?! Are you serious?! After all they did and the number of Soul Reapers they've killed, you brought these six back?!"

"I have to agree with Yumichika, this is not what we expected you'd do, Hanako," said Captain Tetsuzaemon Iba as he scowled a little towards Bambietta due to her being the reason his captain Sajin Komamura ended up turning into a wolf.

He had sacrificed everything to try to avenge the former head captain, but ended up turning into a wolf. Losing his human like form, much of his spiritual energy, and his ability to speak human. So, seeing the girl was back, made his captain's sacrifice mean nothing.

Its been about a few months since the fight with Yhwach and repairs to the Soul Society has continued. Much of the buildings still are in need of repairs, the casualty count is has finally finished, and some parts of the 13 Court Guard Squads have managed to resume with their duties.

Out at the Senkaimon, Captain Toshiro Hisugaya is seen standing in front of the gate. His arms within the sleeves of his coat as he appears to be waiting. Waiting for someone to appear from the gate. He was informed by the Head Captain that some very important people will be joining them soon, so he was asked to go greet them.

That and Toshiro was the only captain available, since most of the other captains were busy with other matters.

Toshiro sighed softly as he looks up at the gate, waiting for these so-called special guests to show up. "I wonder how long do I have to wait till they arrive? I know I was told to get here early just in case they arrive early, but its been over and hour and they're still not here yet."

Dream has an ability to not die like a Phoenix, can't die but his body can be damaged enough so it "dies" or can "die" from old age and is later reborn as a child.

Now, lest add him being super old, and him being both Cornelius and Hubert.

The reason Hubert was killed, is because he wasn't taken over by the egg and didn’t like the idea of other people dying. He said so, and well, Ranbutler does everything Billiam tells him to do.

Then, Ranbutler meets Dream and sees him without his mask. His face is s copy of Hubert's.

So he’s a Phoenix thing and immortal. Basically god.

And then we got Dream hating the egg the moment he sees it and not liking the idea of murdering other people for it. He dies and a few centuries or so later, SMP timeline happens.

That’s probably why he was so freaked out about the egg as well, both in canon and in the au. He would know that egg is bad. It’s not good and he wants it gone. Problem is that he has no idea how to make it gone.

Then we get Moon meeting Dream and oh boy that’s an awkward conversation for everybody. Not just because Moon killed Hubert but also because he looks exactly like him. So now we got Dream explaining to Pogtopia that he may or may not be essentially immortal or something like that.

Oh the possibilities we can open up with this.

“Phoenix rising from the ashes.” This phrase popped into my head recently, and I wasn’t sure why until I did the research. As the story goes, the phoenix is a mythical bird with fiery plumage that lives up to 100 years. Near the end of its life, it settles in to its nest of twigs which then burns ferociously, reducing bird and nest to ashes. And from those ashes, a fledgling phoenix rises – renewed and reborn.

And now I get it. This is the story of my life in the past few months – especially the part about burning ferociously. Life presented me with some challenging circumstances that left me just hanging on. And now, sanity has returned. I look out with fresh eyes. The fog has lifted, and the dark clouds have moved on.

My experience is not unique – it happens to all of us at some point, it’s a part of the human journey. But this was my time, and I’d like to share with you what I’ve learned along the way.

Resistance is natural

When life threw me a curve, I longed for the turmoil to be over with. I wanted to pick myself up and move on. I tried hard to create a plan, to know what I didn’t know, to gain control. I was so busy trying to make things happen that I overlooked what was actually happening.

I ignored my feelings and resisted the present moment. Yes, me, the one who writes aboutwelcoming all of our experience with a loving, open heart. I was doing everything but.

Finally, I realized my approach wasn’t working. I stopped trying. I let myself be frustrated and impatient. I admitted that there was so much I didn’t know, and I let go of figuring it all out. Life was messy, so I suspended my fruitless attempts to clean it up.

And this was the beginning of the fire, as there was space for feelings and reactions to surface.

Things happen in their own time

When I look back I see that I had very little control over what happened. The seasons of my experience had to run their course – severe winter storms, cold and darkness, then the seeds hidden from view beginning to sprout (very exciting!). The best I could do was ride the waves, which I did with varying degrees of success.

Forgetting and remembering joy

When darkness descends, joy is blotted out, buried, seemingly non-existent. Everything weighed like a heavy burden, all my activities felt like obligations. When I realized that I had forgotten joy, I created a “want-to-do” list. Every time I found myself wandering around in a fog, my job was to pull out the list and do something enjoyable or productive. I organized closets andtook walks, finally starting to see the beauty around me.

And I focused on others – being a good friend, showing up for someone in need.

My self-care didn’t suffer. My diet stayed healthy, and I kept up with yoga. But some people going through hard times can benefit from paying special attention to the basics of daily living – good diet, exercise, limited alcohol.

Staying close to the bone

Things started to shift when I made the commitment to find direction in my moment-to moment experience. The big picture was way too nebulous, but I realized that in each moment there was a kernel of truth, a clarity, a “yes” that showed me my next step.

I recognized that this guidance had been there all along, but I was too caught up in trying to find solutions to see it. When I let go of paying so much attention to the stories running through my mind, of trying to control, of avoiding strong feelings, much to my surprise, I found the groundedness I was looking for – the truth in every moment.

Support was essential

At the beginning, I was going it alone, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Eventually, I reached out, allowing the vulnerability of asking for support. It came in so many beautiful, unexpected ways, but I had to let people know I needed it. And a few sessions with a therapist offered some very useful insights.

The clouds do part

“This too shall pass” were empty words to me. I looked into the future, and all I could see was confusion. My negative mind had taken over, and I couldn’t see my way out.

But the clouds do part in their own time. The human spirit is resilient and wants to find its way home to wholeness. I see this over and over in my work. I facilitate a bereavement group at a retirement community for people who have lost their spouses after sometimes 50+ years of marriage. You can just tell when someone walks through the door that they will announce they no longer need the group. They are renewed; they have gone into the darkness and found their way through.

One day I realized that I was happy, and soon after, I saw that I was thriving. I had been through the fire and emerged whole and clear, with doors opening in so many wonderful ways. The sad and frustrated stories in my mind had fallen away, and the emotions that had captured me softened. I can breathe freely again.

Eventually opening to the lessons

When people said I would look back and appreciate this time, all I could do was groan. When I was in the thick of it, it seemed like it would never end. And now, with the sun shining and flowers blooming, I can reflect on what I have learned.

Let things happen.Give up trying to control.Don’t pretend you know what you don’t know.Stay close to what you know is true in the moment.Feeling bad isn’t wrong – it’s just how things are sometimes.Take good care of yourself.Engage with others.Reach out for support.When the time is right, feel the emotions.Get perspective – learn what not to do next time.
