TRAINING EVENTS ‘’Social media as a key tool for social worker’’ involving youth worker/ active participation/ enhance digital skills through ICT/

Partners: Greece, Cypro, Macedonia, Serbia 

Objectives: Education and training feature prominently in the ‘’Europe 2020 Strategy’’ as a method of promoting smart, sustainable and inclusive growth. Indeed through this mobility experience abroad, participants will be able to learn to better develop a curricula that is more user friendly, simple and intuitive as possible and makes available opportunities in life. The participant will be involved to the increase used of modern ICT technologies and their various application participating in an international network with other adults sharing knowledge and experiences, pinpointing similarities and difference between the countries in ICT issue and discovering new ways to encourage best practices to bolster the use of ICT. The main goal is keep the participant abreast with new developments and make them conversant with different technologies and systems by empowering their sense of initiative and entrepreneurship. Furthermore, the project wants to encourage them to improve foreign language competences and enhance cultural awareness.

Target Group:  to reach 5 youth worker coming from each country

Results: as a result, the participants perceive they are better equipped with skills transferrable to their colleagues. The sharing of information, knowledge and skills acquired through this project is being considered as improvement initiative.

Impact:  Is essential to find a way to manage technological change as long as is unstoppable trend. Through practical activities, the participants will:- acquire a bigger understanding in  social communication and inter-cultural youth work- develop new competences in youth work and international cooperation- gain self-confidence in being an active youth worker/activist-innovation and creativity as a value- learn how to overcome adversity- discover their personal style of working and identify specific areas for further development - gain new information and knowledge about new digital device- have increased motivation of work in the youth field and enhanced the understanding about the positive power of youth work as a tool for personal and social development of young people and communities- establish cooperation

Shaping the future of European cities: the INCLUCITIES's Approach to third-country national integration

Think of a city where the streets are filled with people from all over the world speaking different languages. This is the future for many European cities as thousands of migrants and asylum seekers keep searching for a better life. But making these cities inclusive for the new arrivals can be challenging for local communities, especially in smaller towns that don't have a lot of resources or funding.

To address these challenges, the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) and national associations of local and regional governments have started INCLUCITIES, a three-year project funded by the European Union's Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). The goal is to make it easier for Third-country Nationals to integrate by sharing knowledge between mentor and mentee cities, building the capacity of medium-sized cities and associations of local and regional governments, and making national associations stronger so they can better coordinate with different levels of government and share knowledge.

The project pairs cities (with their associated local and regional government groups) in mentoring relationships, with a town acting as a mentor and the other as a mentee. These associations of local and regional governments play a significant role by spreading good practices from one city to the rest of the network and representing local and regional governments to central governments.

The strength of the IncluCities project is its ability to take concrete solutions and lessons learned from individual cities and apply them on a larger scale.

By focusing on what works, the project hopes to influence EU integration policies better to suit local needs. This is done by setting up mentoring relationships to improve integration in less experienced cities, with Migration Work acting as a facilitator. Specific action plans are created based on EU-wide standards to improve the long-term integration of third-country nationals in intermediary cities, increasing cooperation between cities and associations of local and regional governments and building the capacity of these cities and associations.

The partners in this project are national associations of local and regional governments and their accompanying cities. The CEMR team, in collaboration with the creative unit of the branding agency #pageinextremis, created the INCLUCITIES brand.

#pageinextremis, based in Brussels, has over 29 years of experience helping organisations define and communicate their unique identity and has a history of building strong brands for leading organisations, European associations, and EU-funded international projects.

A doua zi în Granada, prima zi de practică - luni, 30. aprilie

Azi era prima noastră zi de lucru. Dimineață gazda noastră ne-a condus la sediul M.E.P. Euprojects Granada, unde ne-a fost prezentată firma și projectul nostru. Am fost împărțiți pentru stagiul de practică în trei locații diferite și ne-a fost prezentat tutorele de practică, care ne-a condus la supermarketuri. Aici ne-au prezentat locația și sarcinile de lucru.

După masa de prânz ne-am întors la M.E.P., unde am participat la două ore de limbă spaniolă.

Deoarece ne-a mai rămas ceva timp până la cină, gazdele noastre ne-au condus prin oraș. Am vizitat cea mai veche casă din Granada, din timpul arabilor care poartă numele de Corral de Carbón, primăria și Mercado Artizanal, care este o piață cu suveniruri și obiecte artizanale.

Cina am primit la Bar Almazan în apropierea apartamentului unde am fost cazați. Mâine după practică vom călători la Malaga. Suntem nerăbdători să vedem orașul și marea. Acum mergem la culcare, trebuie să ne adunăm forțele pentru o zi plină de evenimente, ce ne așteaptă mâine.

Prezentacija projekta na Učiteljskom vijeću

Dana 9. prosinca 2014. članice Kreativnog tima Lena Cvenić-Lijić i Lana Bede koje su se vratile sa svojih mobilnosti u Pragu i Londonu te koordinatorica projekta Irena Bando predstavile su projekt članovima Učiteljskog vijeća Osnovne škole Jagode Truhelke. Koordinatorica projekta Irena Bando predstavila je projekt i objasnila proces prijave, a Lena Cvenić- Lijić i Lana Bede ukratko su opisale svoje edukacije u Pragu i Londonu te pozvale na radionice koje će se održati u ovoj školskoj godini i u kojima će prezentirati novostečena znanja i ideje za razvoj kreativnosti u nastavi.
