Ezri Dax. I don't love what the show did with her character arc, but at her core she's young and lost and trying to figure out who she is, because she had her life all planned out and then she got joined and it just became a mess. I too once had my life planned out - I was a kid who wanted to be an astronaut, and I didn't grow out of it until I learned about Mars rovers and decided I wanted to be an aerospace engineer. As you know, I'm not studying engineering now - that's because mental illness turned my priorities upside down in high school and everything's been a confusing muddle ever since that I'm only beginning to figure out again. Also, Ezri is confused about pronouns and names, I am confused about pronouns and names.
