Having a solid morning routine is extremely important for busy professionals. It is especially true during this time where many of us are working from home and have to make sure that we keep that separation between work and personal life.⁠ .⁠ .⁠ For meditation, try doing it for at least two minutes. Use a meditation app like Calm or Headspace to help you focus. If you fail, don't stop. Just keep trying. ⁠ .⁠ .⁠ Make your bed. It really helps get into the mindset that you are ready to take charge of the day. ⁠ .⁠ .⁠ If you have a diary, then write in it. Don't worry about grammar or if what you are writing makes sense, just write what you want even if it's gibberish.⁠ .⁠ .⁠ I usually make coffee and then go walk the dogs. When I get back, I look at my day and create my to-do list. I have the top three tasks first that must get done. ⁠ .⁠ .⁠ VERY important to not check email until you are ready to start work. Email can suck you in especially if it's work-related.
