I don't have beef with people over-identifying with autism as an identity and I understand where it comes from but don't do it to me please. I have been dxed and I am politically autistic (which is to say unassimilatable into hegemony) but I don't want nothin to do with the autism framework idc I would like to be considered as a person first and foremost and I feel no compulsion to relate all my behaviours back to any given dsm5 symptoms-diagnosis. Tiktok autism culture is of no interest to me. Bye

ok here we go! explaining the chart! (heads up: suggestion of sexual relationships below!)
Soulmates → T & N: same age (range), same town, same class, same job, same boyfriends, need i say more? → P & A: their threads are thousands of years long and yet fate still has them intertwined at the same place and time
Heat of the Moment → P & A: turned the hateful energy from a heated confrontation into something else → P & T: losing a bet and getting teased got them in the mood → P & N: she got back after years away from home, and they tried to rekindle their friendship, among other things
Childhood Friends → N & T: shared a lot of their firsts together: first day of school, first exam, first trip, first dance, first kiss... → P & N: a class prep and a street rat. surely they have nothing in common. right?
Rivals to Lovers → P & A: leader of a gang community patrol looking for suspicious characters vs. recluse vampire that refuses to entertain inspection. aALsoOoo Pan's dad spends more time with Alaric than his own son? so that causes a Whole bunch more of issues → P & T: street rat vs. street rat. dares, bets, the pettiest of squabbles → A & N: at odds due to disagreements in academic subjects and the pretentiousness that comes along with it
Living Together → T & A: Tiff stayed above Alaric's bookstore while working for him. we loooove the erosion of work-life boundaries! → N & T: in the distant future, they own a house together! relying on each other in life <3 → P & N: in the near future, they co-rent a room to make it easier for the... ah... co-parenting.
Workplace Romance → T & A: they're cooped up in that dark, quiet bookstore all day and night. access to each other's schedules. of course things happen → A & N: mutually beneficial arrangement. a changing of goods, touching of hands. maybe even a proper date to celebrate
Trauma Bonded → N & A: over gifted kid burnout, abandoning the high life, yet never quite giving up on it → N & T: over... everything. bad school life, bad work environment, bad situations that are yet to come... and boyfriends! → A & P & T: oh man... honestly this is spoiler territory that's so heavy even i'm not ready to talk about it yet. its a Lot!
there you go! pls feel free to ask me about any of these relationship angles, i would LOVE to loredump about them!!! except that last one hh

oc-tober 2024 day 9: relationships
it's a love square... a love kite? it's love!!!
The squad is complete! (well mostly, i miiight draw Nishay properly again at some point.) But today's focus is on Tiffany Brightwood, who is most definitely not a catgirl but uses the image to her advantage anyway!
She is, however, the it-girl of my dnd campaign, going from background character to central plot device to beloved recurring npc relatively quick!
This version of her isn't meant to show up until waaay later in the (now on indefinite hiatus) story, and i was actually planning to bring her in as my own pc at some point! it's the same round face and smug expression that the party's familiar with, but now she's got a sort of... roguish charm? 🤨😏
anyway! this horndog (horncat?) is known for having her fingers in quite a few romantic pies. what started off as a frisky love square situation has now evolved into a deeply committed quad polycule, bonded together by love and trust. and trauma. and Tiffy's riiiight at the center of it all!
ok let me tackle explaining the relationship chart in a second reblog bc its waaay too long hh

3 Months of 2021 (03.04.21)
It’s like a year now since my exchange semester that I guess it no longer serves as measure point for my lookback any more? Or not? I’ve never been this calm for awhile. I feel the pacing of my life is slower than 3-4 years before. If the world were normal without COVID, I think I would be hustling this and that to achieve something new, but now I’m just here making it day by day.
A little update is the breakout is back and it’s worse than last November. There are like 50-100 cases everyday. I’ve been working from home for the past 3-4 weeks. It was never worse but never better. It’s so Deja Vu. Feeling like I’m going back to April 2020 with lockdown, curfew... except I’m not with my exchange friends in Thailand.
In this 3 months, I was attacked by a dog once and got vaccinated 4 times or one more on the way. I’ve been researching and ordering more skincare products online. I guess it’s what you do when you have so much time? Each evening I went for a walk for 1-1.5 hours. I’ve been put on so much weight again. I registered for the COVID vaccination but haven’t received any contact.
Academically, I finished the the first semester of my senior year almost completely online except 2 sessions in physical classes. The end of semester approaching and it was time to decide about who would continue with thesis. I was one of the 3 students who were selected to continue thesis. Honestly, I was told with so many advices but my reason to do thesis wasn’t mainly because I wanted to continue master degree or something. Maybe I do, or me being indecisive just to leave a back door to myself. But mainly I wanted to have more time to do other stuff or work because I don’t need to attend classes.
I did want to attend 1-2 classes but the laziness get the best of me. And me just being me, I’ve been making like zero progress in the last 1.5 month. There’s like 1 month left until deadline. It feels like my semester in Thailand all over again.
My class didn’t go back to normal even after a few weeks of physical classes. it was so divided that my current group of friends have only 4 people. I don’t know what to deal with this point. I guess people change, or grow apart. I don’t have energy to patch things or turn things back to how it were. But of course I never hold grudge against anyone.
Maybe working from home, it would be assumed that there would be more time. But I feel like I still never have enough time. I wake up and start working until evening with an hour something for lunch break. At the evening I went for a walk then came back home and just browsing the internet or watching movie until I sleep at night. It became a pattern now that I don’t know whether I’m doing the right thing.
I’ve been wanting to stay at KOUPREY Digital to make some progress but I don’t know whether I’ve made much progress. It’s been 3 months since I talked with b Kimheng and Hato. I’ve been feeling so salty of how much I work for full time but my salary stays the same and with the lockdown, it’s cut by 20%. It’s part of my fault for being unstable of my schedule most of time and not standing up for myself. I’m going to make a demand for myself after this lockdown and my semester.
Since the lockdown I’ve been so caught up with new project. It took me almost all my working time. A lot of things were in stalled again like company profile, sharing session, internal project... I feel like such a hypocrite sometimes as I never finish whatever I started. It’s always the guilt of aiming for perfection that held me back so much from making anything happen and being hated for it.
I don’t want to go another 3 months with the same shit I always did. I always had a tendency to “change” or “improve” this workplace. Maybe I will never hold that power. Maybe the first thing that I need to change and improve is myself.
I’m still thinking everyday for how to adjust the workflow to be smoother, to improve the environment to my teammates. I don’t want myself or anyone else to be “fake busy” anymore.
I think spend too much time in my head sometimes until I’ve made zero progress with my side work. The Unravel Box didn’t happen. The blind date books have been sitting in the basements for over a year. I didn’t put effort into  making video either. Let’s see how long can I excuse myself because of COVID19?
For my love life, well do I even have a love life to begin with? I’ve been in a clean state or am I? It’s funny how I thought it would get better over time but no. It’s been 2 years and nothing changes if nothing changes.
I’ve been more comfortable talking with my coworkers about BL series. At least it counts as a progress, right? they seem to be okay with that, or let’s say they have always been okay. It all comes down or start with whether I’m comfortable or okay with myself or not.
It’s funny that it holds such a big deal for me for being gay. The internalized homophobia in me is showing. I know I can’t be this mad bitch who hates every man who thinks the world is unfair all the time. It always comes down to me being comfortable with my sexuality until I’m able to hold any man that comes to my life accountability.
So I guess this is the update for the first 3 months of 2021. I never thought I leave it that long without any update. I’d try to keep it as more regularly as short as a span of one month or one month and a half as possible.

How to set your first AI project up for success
30-second summary:
Choosing your first AI project is essential as digital organizations evolve.
The correct use of AI is helping brands with insights with precision, accuracy and scale.
The benefits are measurable and real if you know what you want to achieve.
AI is here to help and complement marketers’ skills, help them with laborious tasks and unleash more creativity and elevate personal and professional performance.
A look at five simple steps organizations can take to start their AI journey.
Today, organizations of all types and sizes are implementing AI; according to Gartner, 70% of organizations will integrate AI in the workplace to assist and increase the productivity of their employees by 2021.
Artificial intelligence offers far more utility than simply automating processes, though. In digital marketing, AI is helping brands achieve the personalization and engagement it takes to drive revenue and loyalty in the current consumer environment.
From personalized content and product recommendations to dynamic pricing, intelligent chatbots, intent-driven search optimization and even data-informed content creation, AI is changing the game for marketers.
The benefits are measurable and real, with recent research showing that AI enables marketers to:
increase sales (52%)
increase in customer retention (51%)
and succeed at new product launches (49%)
In another study by McKinsey, 44% of companies reduced operational costs and increased business revenue by using AI in marketing.
How can you put AI to work within your own marketing organization? There is no singular path to AI success. Work through these questions to determine your level of AI-readiness, then check out five steps below to help you get started on your first AI project.
What is the current state of our data assets?
Algorithms are hungry for data, but like the food we feed our bodies the data you feed your AI tools is key. The problem is, most organizations are falling down on data governance.
A recent study showed that just 3% of organizations analyzed had Data Quality Scores considered acceptable by researchers.
What is our organization’s comfort level with the concept of AI?
If your marketing team and C-suite aren’t even talking about it yet, you may have some serious work to do in laying the groundwork for budget allocation and adoption. Your first step is advocating that decision-makers gain a basic understanding of AI and machine learning.
They don’t need an academic understanding of the internal workings of artificial intelligence, but should have a grasp of different AI techniques, models, approaches to data collections, and applications.
Artificial intelligence and machine learning: What are the opportunities for search marketers? offers a good primer on the opportunities and from there, there are plenty of free courses to work into your organization’s ongoing training.
How all-in do we want to go?
Maybe you want to streamline entire business or marketing processes. Or maybe you just want to dip your toe in the water.
Getting started in AI a lot easier than it was even a few years ago. The tools you already use may even be incorporating AI capabilities already—we’ll talk about that shortly.
What do we want our AI solutions to achieve?
Be specific. AI might be used to personalize content to customers’ needs and expectation, or to optimize aspects of the customer journey. You might use it in ad targeting or content promotion to get in front of more motivated audiences, or to create hyper-targeted campaigns that span networks and publishing platforms.
L’Oréal for example used BrightEdge (my company) AI based insights to drive 30% growth for Kiehl’s with quick answers. eBay uses AI to generate thousands of personalized email newsletter subject lines in minutes, for example.
It’s a very specific task with a clear benefit and measurable outcome that enables the marketing team to connect at a scale it would take an exceptional (and ultimately too costly) amount of human copywriting talent to achieve.
Don’t choose your AI solution first and then try to make it do what you need. Determine your desired outcomes so you can approach different tool providers with a solid idea of what you need your solution to do.
Do we have the skills and resources in-house to implement?
If you are looking for a solution to digitally transform the business, start by making sure you have the right talent in-house to help guide the solution to successful implementation.
You might need programmers with specific language skills to make it happen—Python, R, Proof, Lisp or Java are commonly used in AI applications. You’ll need managers with equal parts creative and analytical skills to encourage adoption, troubleshoot, and analyze performance, as well.
Are we adding to or replacing elements of our stack?
Will your AI solution integrate with all other elements of your stack, or might you inadvertently be creating new (time consuming) workarounds?
CMOs need to manage the performance of the stack as a whole and ensure that any new introduction to it serves a necessary purpose without taking away from any other function. If there are challenges in integration, can your choice of vendor help you find a solution?
In some cases, integration is less a concern, particularly when the output is immediately actionable and augments the human team’s performance.
In my role I have seen customers with massive gains from the use of real-time research and automation such as 2X increase in conversions and 28% improvement in ad quality score.
AI led research can help enable brand’s content teams to quickly identify the most lucrative content gaps and create content optimized to meet those exact needs.
Getting started with AI: Five tips for selecting your first project
In a recent HBR column, Coursera founder Andrew Ng recommends that brands start small and use your first AI projects to build organizational confidence in the technology. “The purpose of your one or two pilot projects is only partly to create value,” he said. “More importantly, the success of these first projects will help convince stakeholders to invest in building up your company’s AI capabilities.”
Keep that in mind as you establish your success metrics, and use these 5 tips to get you started:
See if your current vendors have AI. Maybe they don’t today, but is it on the roadmap? You may have AI features and functionalities coming to your stack via the solutions your teams are already using.
Pick a project based on low-hanging fruit. Personalization is perhaps one of the most pressing needs in marketing. How can you better connect with consumers and meet their needs for tailored content? The American Marketing Association used AI with NLP (Natural Language Processing) to personalize its email newsletter content and boosted engagement by 42% in the process.
Document use case. What steps or actions are needed to ensure your AI solution is able to achieve the goals you’ve set out for it? Make sure each member of the team understands their role and any ways they are expected to support the project.
Empower staff to work alongside and maximize the value of your AI. Ideally, your team and technology complement and augment one another’s performance; your employees should never be made to feel as though they’re being replaced or competing against tools for budget. Support your team with a robust AI training program and nurture a culture of failing fast and moving on.
Measure performance and analyze outcomes. Again, for your first project you aren’t necessarily looking for outcomes as massive as gains in continental market share, as Coca-Cola was with its Trax Retail Execution AI. Your KPIs for your first project will depend on your solution but should include multiple metrics that give you a clear view of actual performance. This might include email opens, content engagement, time saved, sales driven, etc.
