Saw this post over on the subreddit, and it sure has me convinced.

As someone with her own adhd to deal with, this all checks out. That "definitely was listening" habit is something I've had to work through too.

This also reminds me of that time we got a Grey Pilgrim pov of him seeing her thought process.

The way it's described made it click for me like "oh! Her mind is racing during those moments! I know what that's like!" Also, we definitely missed out on like, two whole paragraphs of internal monologue at least with that last one.

Trump Halts Enforcement of Foreign Bribery Law

Donald Trump issued an executive order Monday suspending enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977. The anti-bribery law, a scion of anti-corruption protection worldwide, has been responsible for some of the biggest corporate criminal cases investigated by the Justice Department for 50 years. The law, signed by President Carter, prevented corporations from bribing foreign officials in order to advance their own financial interests in other countries. Trump claims the law harms American businesses and makes them less competitive, stating that bribing foreign governments is a routine part of doing business.  "Overexpansive and unpredictable FCPA enforcement against American citizens and businesses — by our own Government — for routine business practices in other nations not only wastes limited prosecutorial resources that could be dedicated to preserving American freedoms, but actively harms American economic competitiveness and, therefore, national security," Trump's executive order reads. "It is therefore the policy of my Administration to preserve the Presidential authority to conduct foreign affairs and advance American economic and national security by eliminating excessive barriers to American commerce abroad."  Trump's order "diminishes – and could pave the way for completely eliminating – the crown jewel in the US’s fight against global corruption," Gary Kalman, executive director of Transparency International US, said in a statement.

This is such an out of nowhere question but im super curious, if you could write a script/make an animation/have a very vivid daydream of one(or a few if its hard to choose) of the songs/song parts in your lucky patch playlist, which one would it be?

Like, you think the songs lyrics or something match so well that you can imagine it in images, cuz i think about that a lot.

What if I said all? /hj.

Anyways, this is a very hard question for me to answer since I can picture a complete animatic for pretty much every song in the playlist. Perks of having an overactive and vivid imagination, I guess. Though, I'm going to choose the one that's currently haunting me the most and the one I can explain the most clearly without sounding insane:

Your Ex-Lover is Dead by Stars

This song is so post-Undertale True Pacifist Lucky Patch to me. What I imagine as a scenario for this song is very in line with what is being said in the lyrics.

It starts with Frisk sneaking up behind Flowey then introducing Clover to him, unknowing to the shared history between the two. With that, Flowey's smile briefly falters after realizing who they were but quickly regains it again to mask it, Clover is less inclined and looks more melancholic upon gazing towards Flowey.

Frisk talks in the background but is blurred as Flowey and Clover being face to face with one another is the focus. The frame pans to Clover with the lyrics of "And all of that time you thought I was sad," besides them then switches to Flowey with "I was trying to remember your name". The "remember your name" part has the frame flickering with a frame of Flowey introducing himself for the first time to Clover with his name scratched out.

This part has Clover in the middle of the frame with vines wrapping itself around them then it switches to Clover's appearance during the Meta Flowey fight with the vines getting closer and closer to their soul in the middle. As the lyrics "tried to reach deep" plays, the vines ensnares Clover's soul but it breaks free or Clover themself breaks free from the vines when "but you couldn't get in" plays.

Cut to Clover present time facing Flowey with his back in view in front of them looking pretty defiant which then the next frame pans to him from Clover's perspective. His "sins" being Meta Flowey, Omega Flowey, and God of Hyperdeath forms all appearing behind him.

Now with this, half of Flowey and Clover's face are visible and they are paralleling each other of different sides of the screen or they are standing beside each other. With the "choose" lyric, Clover chooses to walk away and move on while Flowey stays behind.

The postcard line has a letter or postcard by Flowey in frame and part of his pot visible while the next line has a newspaper with a picture of Clover and the Feisty Five in it in frame. Next, the two are in frame again besides each other with a string connecting them but it zooms out to show how far apart they truly are but the string still connects them and the string curls into a heart in the middle.

This part just shows their time together in the Underground and bonding. Mostly during the Pacifist route. The last line shows Clover's sacrifice and death and Flowey witnessing it.

The last stanza I like to think of is from Clover's perspective and is what they are saying to Flowey, internally or externally, I don't know. Maybe their time together is flashing through like a flashback as Clover declares what they're not sorry for.

Finally the last line, as the second to the last line plays their older/present time selves are sitting besides each other looking distant and not meeting eye contact but are close together. The final line shows their younger selves in the same position but looking happier and closer. This could be reversed, to be honest. Both frames have the line "I'm not sorry there's nothing to save" on them.

I apologize this answer was so long, my only excuse is that this is practically my entire outline for a fic inspired by the song but more in-depth. It's not my usual interpretation of Lucky Patch Post-UT-TP but hey! A bittersweet interpretation for a bittersweet song.
