To believe in something, whatever it is - helps us get through the struggles, the daily onslaught of never ending bullshit constantly thrown at us, #faith ; we so often attribute it to religion but I believe faith is itself is too big to simply fix nice and snug in any or all 📦 boxed up religion. Faith is spiritual - and religion and spirituality are two entirely different things. You can’t buy or sell real, spiritualized faith, you can’t give some away as a gift 🎁 to a friend in need, yet - these are all things you can do within the confines of religion (think about it, and you’ll see what I mean). All that being said, having faith makes things possible, why? Because of #miracles ? maybe. Because #prayer ? Maybe. You can say no, but until you can totally prove otherwise - I’m still leaving this option open. Why? Because I swear to whatever higher power is or maybe, I’ve seen it (or some capacity of it) work, and I’m also one of those #dontknockittillyoutryit kinda guys. ——————————————— Back to the original point: faith makes #allthingspossible because it gives us #hope and, THAT my friends, is very, very real - almost #tangible ; #withouthopenothingispossible , because we don’t believe in ourselves, in our strengths, in our talents, in our support system (friends & family), GO AHEAD remove your faith, your hope and what do you have? Nothing. It is impossible to MAKE something from nothing, it’s not even a thing to be overcome because it doesn’t even EXIST. Talk about some #existentialbullshit y’all. Nothing comes easy. I always knew that, but I’m learning that more and more each day. Hell, even if we sprinkle that shit with shiny, twinkling fairy 🧚‍♀️ hope dust - it’s all just a billion to one ☝🏻 chance we’ll get where we so desperately desire to go.
