When denim doesn’t cooperate

It’s not on purpose. It’s just one of those days. When the fit doesn’t help, the fabric refuses to hide, and you’ve got a full basket and nowhere to go.

Can’t fix it. Can’t fight it. So I stand here and pretend… again.

#sewphotohop Day 15: Ugliest Make. It’s a toss up between Simplicity 4014 Dress and the Burda 8292 Coat. I made both to wear to a wedding, but the dress was so bad it was unwearable, and I was so ashamed of the coat it went in the bin directly after the wedding. To be fair, the second dress I made for the event (the teal lace dress under the coat) was one of my favorite dresses I’ve ever made.
