As a local of Sheffield, I will absolutely buy this, on the condition that it takes an inverted X Files approach to each episode. Every episode starts with one of the duo finding a case, which seems to suggest something is "off" in Sheff. They become convinced that it may be linked to alien shenanigans and set about with their bestest WWTDD attitudes to save the day. Each time, however, there turns out to be a perfectly reasonable explanation, and they do, in fact, help their client but feel dejected that they haven't foiled an alien invasion. Never deterred, O'Brien and Son P.I. firm soldier on, offering their specialist services to the alien fearing residents of sheffield, sure in the knowledge that the truth is out there...
