she's never been one for humanising the moon. is that the correct term? when you refer to an object like it's a person? sure, it's pretty and all. but it's only since meeting werewolves and becoming 'supernatural' that she's really sat down and... thought about it. expanded her horizons? 'cos she didn't believe in anything but aliens up until she died and came back to life. now it turns out that angels and demons and freakin' gorgons exist. which pisses her off a little bit 'cos angels mean that god exists, right? so why didn't she see anything when she died?

this is what's on her mind while juniper speaks. dom's been doing her night-time workout and has gravitated toward the woman because she's nothing if not an extrovert, which means now she's actually considering if the moon is anything other than just a floating piece of rock.

"i dunno if she knows anything, really. 'til recently i just thought she was a rock." is that a bad thing to say? will she come across as ignorant? "crap, am i gonna get struck down for sayin' that?"

"... a friend of mine used to joke that the moon is a lesbian and so in love with the sun that she can't stop chasin' her."

whenever  the  full  moon  came  closer  ,  juniper  often  found  herself  looking  at  the  sky.  it  was  one  of  life's  big  mysteries  ,  something  she'd  never  been  able  to  work  out  and  that  had  intrigued  researchers  for  centuries.  it  had  been  the  one  light  she'd  had  in  a  past  life  and  as  much  as  she  considered  herself  a  woman  of  facts  she  could  appreciate  the  romantic  mystery  of  it.  "do  you  think  the  moon  knows  the  power  she  has  over  us  ?"  it  was  said  to  no  one  in  particular  ,  though  she  cast  a  quick  glance  to  the  side  at  her  companion  ,  wondering  if  such  things  moved  them  as  well.  "i  mean  ,  she's  so  strong  and  has  had  the  most  clever  of  people  confounded.  i  want  to  know  if  she  knows  all  she  does  to  ,  or  for  ,  us."
