Baked Sweet Potato Fries with Avocado Cashew Sauce by @feedyourglow 💚 Baked Sweet Potato Fries 3 large sweet potatoes, scrubbed clean and dried 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil (or avocado oil) 1/2 teaspoon sea salt Avocado Cashew Sauce 1 cup raw sprouted cashews (soaked for at least 6 hours) 1 fresh lime, juiced 1 spring onion Pinch of salt Cilantro, scallions, smoked paprika and other desired toppings 1) Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and grease a baking sheet. 2) Chop sweet potatoes into matchsticks by halving, halving once more, then cutting into strips. 3) Toss in oil until well coated. Season with salt and toss once more. Arrange in a single layer on the baking sheet. 4) Bake for around 20 minutes, then flip for even cooking. Bake for another 10-15 minutes or until golden brown and crisp. 5) While baking prepare dipping sauce by blending cashews, lime juice, spring onions and sea salt in a food processor until smooth and creamy. 6) Mash avocado in a separate bowl, add creamy mixture, stir well. 7) Top with smoked paprika, fresh cilantro, scallions and other desired toppings. 8) Serve baked sweet potato fries with the avocado cashew sauce - best when fresh. It can help with reducing chronic pain such as muscle ache and joint pain. 3. Research has shown that yoga can improve sleep quality and duration. The secretion of the sleep regulation hormone, melatonin, increases. 4. Muscle strength, flexibility and balance are greatly improved by regular practice. 5. Cardio and fitness in general. 6. Improved posture and healthy spine. I find it very beneficial to reduce back ache. 7. Mindfulness and awareness. 8. More energy. 9. Yoga teaches you to breathe deeply and calmly which will help you enormously off the yoga mat too. 10. It will make your concentration better and help you think more clearly.

🥑 Avocado pesto pasta with pan-seared cherry tomatoes, roasted broccoli and all the greens 📷 by @feedyourglow 🚨🚨Avocado Pesto Recipe: 1 large bunch fresh basil 2 ripe avocados ½ cup walnuts or hemp seeds 2 tablespoons lemon juice 3 cloves garlic ½ teaspoon fine sea salt ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil Ground pepper to taste Strip basil leaves from the stems and add to a food processor along with avocados, walnuts (or hemp seeds), lemon juice, garlic and salt; pulse until finely chopped. Add oil and process to form a thick paste. Season with pepper. Make Ahead Tip: Press a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface to prevent browning and refrigerate for up to 5 days. I'm so into salads lately. They're such an easy way to get a big chunk of your daily servings of veg in and they're fast to make too! We're still trying to figure out our new routine of school and work and it's nice to have a low key option I can just throw together based on what's in the fridge.
